Excellent coffee and sweet bread

Unfortunately, there are always bakeries with grumpy, unfriendly salespeople who spoil the shopping experience. After many visits to many bakeries all over Switzerland, I have to pay a big compliment to the ladies on Klausenstrasse in Altdorf. They are absolutely the friendliest, warmest, most personable employees in the entire Hauger Group! At least. Simply great! The Hauger on Klausenstrasse is THE bakery branch in Uri and we are happy to take a detour to shop here! Then a big compliment to the confit horseshoes! The Hauger Bakery really has a lot of great products, but the confiture iron, the puff pastry still nice and moist on the inside, the sugar caramelized on the outside... I have to say again and again that the Hauger confiture iron is the very best in all of Switzerland, thank you very much for this great one pastries.

The quality has deteriorated a lot but if you think you have to have everything, at some point it suffers, which is also the case with Hauger, sorry
