Beautiful brewery inn with a huge selection of beer, beer garden and winter garden. Great view of Rheinfelden too, as it's a little higher and outside. Good connection to the motorway, so you can make a quick detour to stop off at a stop when traveling between Basel and Zurich. The service was great, relaxed, friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the beef beer roast I ate fell a little short of my expectations. One slice of meat was quite hard, the second one was ok. Even the portion and sauce, which were a little too small (which were promptly refilled upon request), are only reasonably filling with a salad beforehand. The dark beer sauce tastes thin and could also be more reduced and more intense. The Feldschlösschen burger from my table neighbor, however, looked very tasty and should be ordered with sweet potato fries, which are subject to an additional charge. In terms of price, it's in the slightly higher midfield.

Went to visit the brewery and then eat in the restaurant. All in all, highly recommended.

A very cozy place with loving and attentive service that serves excellent food.

Simply a great idea for an occasion. The service is courteous and the food is wonderful. Everyone got the main course at the same time and it was still hot for everyone. Even if there are minor accidents at the table, help is available immediately and you can have a hearty laugh. Very sympathetic.

Very rarely have I been greeted, looked after and served in such an authentically friendly manner. Our visit as a family was great. The food was brilliant and Hannes accompanied us warmly and excellently. Thank you and would be happy to come back anytime 👍

Wedding celebration May 20, 2023 / 70 guests / Resti exclusively for us We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful experience we had at our wedding with you in the Feldschlösschen restaurant. It was an unforgettable day and the hospitality and excellent service contributed significantly to it. From the preparations to the mega delicious meal and the attentive service, every detail was implemented perfectly. We were allowed to put together the wedding menu ourselves (nothing from the banquet menu). Our guests loved the atmosphere and the delicious food. The portions were very large; the main course could have been served in two courses. :-) In addition, the location was open for us until 4 a.m. Special thanks to Patrizia who looked after us during the preparations and ensured that everything went smoothly. Preparing was just as fun as celebrating! 😉 She gave us a lot of practical advice. Although she would have been on vacation on the wedding day, she was there briefly and made Schalanderplatz available to us for a photo shoot. We were also allowed to use a great Feldschlösschen canvas as a background for our photo box free of charge. We were able to drop off/set up a few things the evening before and pick them up again the day after the wedding. They also decorated the tables beautifully according to the florist's instructions so that the florist (godmother) arrived at the wedding on time. ;-) We really appreciated your flexible and uncomplicated nature - you fulfilled all of our wishes. I was invited for Christmas dinner, so the menu had already been chosen for the guests. The food was good (the pumpkin soup was delicious!) and the service was friendly and helpful. The environment was very relaxing and peaceful to eat.

Yesterday we went to the restaurant again and it was really very good. The menu is not huge, but it is very tasty and selected. The starter portion is really a good portion, the main course and dessert were also very tasty. The employees are great and I really like the service.

If you are in Switzerland, a stay is very worthwhile. Best combined with a visit to the brewery or the old town of Reinfelden.

We were there spontaneously after Sole Uno. A very nice restaurant, great feeling of well-being. The food was very tasty. The beer I ordered took an extremely long time and we also waited an extremely long time for the bill even though we were the last ones. We will certainly come back again

We were a group and ordered spare ribs. Unfortunately, the spare ribs were very fatty and not well cooked. The ambience and service were good but unfortunately we were very disappointed for a price of over Fr. 40 per rib.

The food was excellent :) the lady at reception was very personable, only the one waiter on the upper outside terrace today left a lot to be desired. Forgets the order several times, seems aloof. And when the beer glass is almost full, he asks for coffee - unfortunately this gentleman is not very attentive.

We got married there, everything was great from the preparation to the wedding. It was a shame that an employee came at 3:15 a.m. and said the party would be over at 4:00 a.m., even though we had previously agreed that it would be "open end". Especially saying this to the bride doesn't involve much sensitivity. If you offer this, you should communicate in advance that “open end” means 4 a.m. We had already booked our DJ until 5 a.m. In the end it was ok and we were able to stay until 5am. It was also a shame that our cake stand was lost even though we were there the next day to pick up all our things. It was said: "Here are a few more things, also from other weddings, we don't know what suits you and what doesn't!" It was really a mess, next time I'll learn from it and write my name on my cake stand. I didn't do this review to complain about how bad everything is, that's not it, but to give constructive criticism that should also help to optimize processes. Nevertheless, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening in the Feldschlössli Restaurant! The buffet was great and everyone enjoyed it. Thanks to the whole team!!

Tip top, but the lady in service was the best, funny, she made the evening perfect. I hope she'll be back on our next visit - there were 8 of us!

We visited the Feldschlösschen Braui in Rheinfelden on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023 (we had registered for a tour in advance) and actually wanted to eat something in the attached restaurant beforehand (shortly before 12 p.m.) and were already looking forward to eating. However, we were brushed off at the door, supposedly the restaurant was fully booked, but the restaurant was practically empty and therefore we felt that we were not welcome. In the future we will avoid the restaurant when we visit the brewery again. Obviously there is no need to greet and serve guests in a friendly manner in a restaurant

A restaurant that is always worth visiting. The atmosphere is nice, the service is very friendly. The highlight is certainly the many different beers. Unfortunately, the map can't quite keep up and is rather narrow. More could be done here. Prices are fair.

After touring the brewery, it's almost mandatory to stop here and try the various beer dishes, plus a beer of course. The food we ate was delivered quickly and was very good. The service was very friendly and competent.

Above average friendly staff. It's rare to experience these days. Food and portion size very good over lunch. Also the prices. I've never been there in the evening.

The menu is clear but seasonally inspired. Inexpensive and popular meals are available for children. What’s special are the special beer recommendations for each dish. Special mention should be made of the very tasty IPA. We will be happy to come back and are thinking of visiting the brewery.

We had reserved for the käshüttli... unfortunately the reservation was messed up! This meant we had to take what was left. The artist wasn't what we expected, sparsely staffed and rather sparsely equipped, only the staff tried very hard!

Service was very bad... Had to get the card and cutlery myself... I ordered the invoice 3 times and finally received it 40 minutes later... When I mentioned it they said it was my own fault, I didn't have a reservation...🤔🤢🤮 Never again....🙋🏻‍♂️

Service terribly bad… You had to get the cutlery and the card yourself. The prices are relatively expensive. But the food was very good. You had to ask to pay 3 times and wait 15 minutes until you got the bill. When approached about this poor service, they said... "That's how it is with us when you don't make a reservation." Never seen such impudence. Never again…

12/27/22 We were the first guests this afternoon. We only got the drinks after a neighboring table had already gotten the salad. (Forgotten) User Salad was served with the meal after 37 minutes. (Forgotten) My second beer was brought to me after dinner. (Forgotten) I rejected this one too. A big shame for a good brewery.

Very friendly staff. Even though we were an hour early, we got a table, pretzels and Christmas beer to pass the time. The food was delicious and filling. Recommended

On November 18th, 2022 we had a company outing “SBB-Cargo RBL” at the Feldschlösschen brewery. The tour went through the brewery's pavilions. That was very informative. Afterwards there was a tasting. Dinner at the Feldschlösschen restaurant was a pleasant surprise! A special thank you goes to the chef and the restaurant staff. Of the staff, I would especially like to highlight Alla and Monika for their care and professionalism.

The waiting time for the food was over 1 hour. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the quality of the food was much worse compared to previous visits. The rösti was extremely fatty, the rice was overcooked and bland. It's a shame, the restaurant itself would be very nice and the atmosphere would be pleasant. So we're already thinking about coming back!

In the surroundings of Basel, it was an interesting visit in the company of a French-speaking guide, who gave us lots of details on the history of one of the oldest breweries in Switzerland.

Very nice ambience in the restaurant, which stylishly rounds off the insight into the brewing world after the brewery tour. Various beers from the brewery's range can be tasted. You can also have a snack.

A beer castle, no, a beer cathedral - impressive in size and architecture. The tours are highly recommended; you can take a look behind the scenes and learn many interesting details about beer brewing. Beer has been brewed continuously in Rheinfelden, in the Feldschlösschen, for over 150 years. But it's not just barley juice lovers who get their money's worth, the facility is also very impressive in terms of industrial culture and architecture. The stables of the huge cold-blooded horses that still bring fresh beer to the restaurants in Rheinfelden are also definitely worth a visit. And at the end, of course, the tasting shouldn't be missed; at the beer fountain it's difficult to choose which brews to try. The tour costs 20 francs and the price is absolutely right. Afterwards, you can of course visit the Feldschlösschen restaurant. A clear menu and concentration on a few dishes ensures that hunger is satisfied quickly. We had Zürcher Geschnetzeltes with Rösti and the Cordon Bleu with home-made French fries and were very satisfied.

For a small burger with fries, Fr. 29.50 is too much. Spaetzli were oily and had no fried onions (according to the menu) only onion sprouts🤮

As you would expect, you can choose from a variety of beers here. There are also matching, very good tasting dishes that were served in a courteous and very friendly manner. The prices are sometimes on the higher end, but the cuisine also delivers the appropriate quality.

It was our first time there and we have to think about whether we really want to come back. We knew in advance that there would be no hot food in the afternoon. However, the guests at the table next door got fries and burgers. When I asked if we could have the menu, I was answered with annoyance. When I asked if I could have a portion of fries, there was no answer at all. So we had to settle for dessert. There was nothing to drink, we weren't even asked about it.
