Fiorentina in Basel

Very nice and authentic Italian restaurant right on the Rhine. The two of us ate here for the first time. Although it was very busy, the service was very experienced and friendly. The food was very tasty from starter to dessert. I can recommend it 100%.

Dario gave us excellent advice and care. The piece of fillet he suggested was delicious and tender like butter. The side dishes - risotto, spaghetti, fried potatoes and vegetables - were also excellent. We had a great evening. Thanks, Dario!

We chose it for our first dinner during our visit to Basel. The presentations, flavors and the attention and communication of the employees were incredible. It was a nice dinner experience for us with a view by the river.

Everything was very good, and especially the gnocchi with cheese and pistachio! The place itself is quite spacious and with a lot of light from the outside if the day is good, and with those views it is appreciated. We ordered lasagna and gnocchi. Both things were good but the Gnocchis won by difference. There is a midweek menu in the restaurant, we arrived just finishing the shift but they still gave us the accompanying salad at no extra cost. If you are in the area it is worth it! Cinema quality/price.

Great location right on the Rhine. We celebrated a birthday dinner with an aperitif upstairs on the terrace. It was wonderful! Good food in a prime location with a direct view of the Rhine in Basel can be found here at Fiorentina. We enjoy being here and definitely recommend this restaurant. 5 Stars.

Such a good place very sad that they have a terrible service. We were sitting upstairs on the terrace and the waiter was completely acting as if we did not exist from the beginning we had to stand up ourselves to get the plates and to ask to pay.... The service makes you loose all the experience.

The view is great, the prices are a little high. Since the weather was nice, we sat on the terrace. The owner is from Konya. You will have a pleasant time. A nice Italian restaurant on the banks of the Rhine.

The staff is very rude⚠️👈. The worst thing is going to a restaurant to eat and hearing the person serving you turn around and insult you. and the food was not well prepared. I wouldn't have expected something like that in a restaurant in Switzerland ⚠️⚠️⚠️

I was a mall and nothing more ⛔️ I had a reservation and me and my colleagues waited 22 minutes for someone I knew to come And when he came it was a Mr. Turkay or Kurd and big with short hair. But it didn't matter what was, he was in stress because he had 3.4 tables 👌 served with 2.3.4 people. I waited 22 ⚠️minutes he came and very stressful aggressive and annoying me and my colleague we didn't know any more food because he we left the restaurant. Very bad employees after the boss ⚠️losing a lot of guests, money, etc... because no one goes to a restaurant and sees something like that because as a guest we pay a lot but we get good service and very respectful respect.👌

I would recommend the restaurant🫵 to choose its staff well👈 as I was with my children⚠️⚠️ and the waiter, a Turkish ⚠️boy, swore while serving and was nervous and very aggressive when he took our order, my children had Fear⚠️. I have been there 4 times since I met him and I live almost 1 hour away. It is one of the best bets in Basel. They are Italian and they understand us Spaniards very well. Food is delicious. To add a negative point, the last time they put us at a table facing the street (it is the worst place in the restaurant)

Food: Was very, very excellent, seemed very authentic; even the simplest dishes (e.g. Pizza Margherita). For Swiss standards, the price is completely ok. Very highly recommended. Ambiance: Very nicely located, you (if you're lucky) get a table right by the window, you get a wonderful view of the Rhine. Service: The lady was very friendly and extremely accommodating to us. Otherwise, everyone seemed very stressed all the time; our table was moved around during the meal to accommodate more guests. Our reserved table right by the window was not kept (a shame) - understandable given the high frequency, but we would have been happy about it anyway. One of the employees was quite rude to other guests and rolled his eyes at the new guests (sorry, but that's really not possible). Conclusion: Very good food for fair prices, very nice atmosphere. As a guest, you would like a little more professionalism for this price range - a lot of it is already there, but not in all respects.

Very good Italian restaurant in a beautiful location directly on the Rhine - unfortunately the magnificent terrace is not so cozy on a winter evening ;-). The staff is extremely friendly, even when making a reservation (which you should definitely do, the Fiorentina is very popular). High quality food and decent portions.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here. The food and service were impeccable. Unfortunately, the stupid service clerk gave my husband's jacket and hat to another guest because he couldn't find his jacket (which was on the floor). The manager promised my husband that he would twint him 100.00 as compensation. However, this has not happened to date ☹️.

We arrived at Basel airport and ate there by chance, because we were on our way to Freiburg. The food was very good and the waiters were 11. If we return to Basel, we will return but with a reservation for one of the tables next to the river. Go Madrid!

Went there spontaneously on Friday evening and got a really nice table with a view of the Rhine. The staff was charming, competent and attentive. The menu was very balanced and authentic. The food was very tasty and there were many good wines by the glass. An absolute pearl, we can recommend it to everyone. Just perfect!

Absolutely wonderful meal. Staff ran off their feet as the place was so busy, but the wait was worth it for one of the best carbonara I’ve ever had. The pizzas arriving at the table next to us looked like works of art, simple fresh ingredients left to speak for themselves. Lasagne was excellent too.

Delicious food, amazing view and good atmosphere… their cuisine is great at combining various ingredients and foods into fantastic recipes!!

We were a group of 20 people. Because we placed our order two days in advance, we were all able to eat at the same time, which was great. The starter platter was also great, as was the main menu. Pizza was huge and pasta was more than enough too. Everyone enjoyed it and the service was really great. Gladly again 😀

Honestly, the place is amazing. They offered us free drinks in an exchange for 15 minutes wait for the table. And then, due to a small mistake in the order, the host hardly insisted on having our bill paid by himself. Out of courtesy, we left our tip for the kitchen. Will definitely come back again as the food was also tasty!

Family atmosphere, very good food

The waiter was extremely busy but we didn't feel that we were not attending to. We split a caprese, a cabonara and the salmon. Food was delicious and Filling. The food presentation was beautiful.

Very nice atmosphere. The location is perfect!! The staff was very polite and the food was great!! We had the bruschetta and the tagliatele di manzo! Highly recommended.
