Had lunch. Food, service and ambience a stable 5th place. Price performance is right

There were seven of us and we had dinner in the restaurant on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Here are my impressions: When I entered, I immediately noticed the cozy atmosphere: the beautifully decorated columns and the subtle walls created a pleasant atmosphere. Despite the crowded place, the volume was very pleasant thanks to the dim lighting and the lack of music. The reception was friendly and accommodating. The menu was clearly laid out: starters, main courses, desserts - there were up to five different dishes for each section, which was completely sufficient for the size of the restaurant. I chose the salad with honey sauce as a starter and the lasagne as my main course. I skipped dessert. The amuse-bouches were a classy and unexpected surprise that I wouldn't have expected from a small restaurant. The salad was fresh and the sauce was an absolute taste explosion - highly recommended! The lasagna was beautifully prepared and tasted excellent. The dough was just right, neither too hard nor too soft. The coffee was really good. The toilets were clean and well maintained. Conclusion: Everyone was satisfied and full. There were no negative points. We paid a total of 400 CHF for seven people, including drinks and a glass of wine. Unfortunately the restaurant doesn't offer pizza, but I'll be happy to come back.

I don't like writing bad reviews because you can have a bad day. But that was really very disappointing. We were there for lunch and the food was really poor. The gnocchi were completely overcooked (almost porridge), the sauce was not creamy as expected, but completely liquid (white wine and cream had separated) and the mushrooms extremely flabby and tasteless. When I said that the food wasn't edible, the waiter simply cleared away the almost full plate in silence. We had to pay the full price for a meal that we would never have managed so badly ourselves.
