We were allowed to fish for the first time. It was incredibly fun and a great experience! Our son was able to let off steam in the playground and enjoy the fresh air. Afterwards there was very tasty food :-) thank you very much for the great morning/lunch. We will be back! Staff very friendly and accommodating!

Nice place. You have to make a reservation to eat. If you come without a reservation, you will be turned away and treated unfriendly by the service (the boss's wife). Absolutely cheeky. A thank you to Dominik. Present and friendly everywhere. Husband of service wife also very friendly. It's a shame to let such a good business get ruined. Since a little more flexible. If you don't have a reservation, offer a small card.

For fishing it was a little less fun because it was overcrowded with fish and after 1-2 you had one without bait and what I don't think is so cool is that you are not allowed to bring your own food with you and consume it. That's why only 3 stars otherwise service was okay

Craving fish?? The only way to get fresher is to go fishing yourself. I have picked up trout and carp several times and prepared them in different ways. All I can say is simply delicious. Always friendly service.

It is an experience to catch fish yourself at the fishing pond with your children. No fishing knowledge necessary. You will be briefly instructed on the utensils and house rules for fishing. You can have the fish you catch prepared there or take it with you. Price depends on weight. Always fun for me and my children

Nice restaurant with fresh fish. You can sit outside and watch the fishing going on. Small negative point: It's quite hot under the pavilion during midday sun, which can be annoying for some guests.

Small rustic restaurant with good food and friendly service.

The food, trout fillet was acceptable apart from the slightly undercooked boiled potatoes for 29 Fr. The tartar sauce could certainly be improved. What certainly requires urgent action is the overall hygiene in the women's toilet, unfortunately not worthy of a woman.

Nice fish pond and fun staff. We had a lovely, exciting and fun afternoon and will definitely come back. Thanks for the instructions and the delicious schnitzel 😁 We grilled the fish we caught ourselves the next day and it was yummy!

May 27, 2023 Very nice place. We had eaten very well. The Veggi Tarte Flambée was one of the best I've ever eaten. My trout was excellent and perfectly cooked. Plus a regional white wine. What more do you want? We recommend.

I ordered a fish burger, The taste was good, but I thought it was breaded fish fillet. The fish was chopped in a flour mixture, which dominated the quantity and flavor of the fish.

It's just great how the two of them and the staff manage everything. Highly recommended. But make a reservation!

We came especially from Bern and were not disappointed. Very nice and uncrowded facility with the option of having the fish you catch prepared in the adjacent restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful across the board. The responsible fishing boss gives a good briefing and ensures that the rules are adhered to. The fact that there is only a small menu at lunchtime, i.e. no fried trout, is not noted anywhere on the half board. The alternative menu for Fischchnusperli was rather oily dumplings. Kienberg fish farm offers a fish menu all day long. Staff is very warm and accommodating!

NOT REAL FISHING AT ALL!!! There's no catch & release here no matter what size of fish you get and the fish are so easily caught and no limits to how many you take. 5 mins of fishing we had 5 fish and stopped at 9 fish of multiple sizes and then a bill of over 100chf +the another 25chf for them to cook 1 fish/2 fillets with French fries 🍟 with fishing ,cleaning/gutting fish ,cooking and eating we were finish in under 1 under.

Always worth a visit. The trout tastes great and side dishes round off the experience. If you want, you can lend a hand and fish yourself. This is an adventure, especially for the little ones, and a trip is worth it.

Everything went well so far, from fishing to table reservations. However, I would have liked to have had information beforehand about how much time you should allow from the time you give the fish to the butcher shop until you take the fish with you to go or eat your own fish. The service in the restaurant is great, friendly and fast and the food is very good. What disappointed me, however, was the dismal condition of the playground. Several play equipment is broken, rotten and broken, making it dangerous for children, which is a real shame. The prices are okay, but you could also invest in it to renovate the playground. Unfortunately, it is not fully recommended for families with small children.

Disappointing!!!! Despite pre-ordering menus, different menus suddenly arrived (we were about 40 people). The boss became increasingly unfriendly and claimed that the pre-orders were different. Aargauer roast in a fish farm, hello? The plates all looked different, some of the food was cold. This place is not recommended!!!!!!!!

During a hiking trip we set our sights on the Rheinsulz fishing estate. Even though it was Pentecost, we hadn't made a reservation. But we were still lucky and got a terrace table right on the bank of the fishing pond. We had ordered trout fillets Fischergut and trout chnusperli fried with boiled potatoes. Both dishes were excellently prepared and plentiful. The prices were very moderate for Swiss standards and absolutely fair. The nice thing about the Fischergut is of course the location. You're actually sitting in a forest clearing with a pond where you can fish for trout yourself. If you have no idea about fishing, you will receive instructions from the staff beforehand. Of course, fishing equipment is available on site. You can bring the trout to the cook and then serve your own fish a little later. Great idea and a lot of people seemed to really enjoy it. Many fished at the pond and drank a beer or a glass of wine. There is also a nice playground for the children. The staff was very friendly and quick too. Overall a top service. Best reached by car via Rheinsulz or Bütz. Parking spaces are available. We'd love to come by again.

Fish farming is ok, there were a few fungal fish in the restaurant, we had to ask several times whether we could order, we were ignored and forgotten until we canceled everything. 3 children, 2 adults, which was a shame. I think that we were deliberately ignored. The restaurant was occupied by a maximum of 10 people We were probably waiting for 1 hour and very poor service

The fishing was great, we had fun and the staff gave us very good instructions and help. The food on site was on cold plates and the trout fillet had many bones and had no taste. There were a total of about 12 people in the restaurant so it wasn't overcrowded. You would think that the fish you caught yourself should be professionally prepared in a nice place. We're never coming back. A SHAME for such a great place. Some of the tables were under coniferous trees so there were side dishes in glasses and plates. STAFF from the restaurant doesn't make any effort for the service, very rude

Tolle Lokation zum Angeln. Für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene. Freundliches Personal im Kaffe/Restaurant. Angelgeräte können vor Ort gemietet werden. Fische können vor Ort ausgenommen und auf Wunsch auch filetiert werden. Oder auch direkt im Anschluss im Restaurant zubereitet werden.👍

es war mega schön...ich war mit der zeit bei gepflegtem ambiete soo breit dass ich speien musste...beim baden im see störten mich etwas die vielen fische...aber sonst tiptop...

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Tag hier. Das Angeln am Teich ist für Anfänger sehr geeignet. Ich wüsste nicht, was passieren muss, dass man echt ohne nach Hause geht. Ein sehr netter Herr kommt und unterstützt einen bei allen Angelegenheiten und hilft. Du kannst die Fische ebenfalls kaufen, hier essen gehen, sie ausgenommen und filetiert bekommen, Kinder können am Spielplatz spielen, es ist im Wald und es fließt ein Bach im Hintergrund. Es wird darauf geachtet und darauf hingewiesen, wenn jemand die Fische nicht sofort tötet, das Tierwohl liegt ihnen also auch am Herzen. Die Fische sind sehr lecker und man kann sich alles nötige ausleihen.

Sehr Gepflegte anlage, Gepflegte und Gesunde fische in einem idyllischen waldstück. Preis pro kilo Regenbogenforelle 24.- Im preis inbegriffen die ausnahme des fisches. Wen man glück hat fängt man auch eine Lachsforelle Fantastisch. Aufjedenfall wieder...

Die Forellen Gerichte sind vorzüglich, die Wartezeit von knapp 60 Minuten, unakzeptabel!!

Dieses mal recht cool, nicht viele leute doch das essen einfach sehr gut, kein schnicki schnacki, einfach mal normal, reichlich hat super geschmeckt! Wer mal lust auf fisch hat einen normalen preis dafür bezahlen will ist da genau richtig.
