A bit of a special evening due to Chinese New Year but a very good impression

We had an exceptional Chinese New Year evening! The service is impeccable, and the team takes great care as on each of our visits. The quality of the food is a sure bet!

Excellent Peking duck. Excellent service. On the other hand, a touch of interior decoration will make a nicer atmosphere for dinner.

We ate really well. Nothing to say about the meal. But a little problem with the owner, whom I must have annoyed at one point and who was execrable to me throughout the rest of the meal. Fortunately sometimes it was the Mr who came and much more professional and friendly.

It is so rare to find a Chinese restaurant of this quality. There were 5 of us with different choices. Everything was excellent and even succulent. Plus we were celebrating a birthday and what was our surprise: music, cake, candle and even a gift. Only happiness. Thank you so much

Ordered for delivery. Good but it clearly lacks magic. Dry crispy chicken, basic onion beef with sauce more liquid than anything else. An effort can be made.

Nice restaurant which suggests regular quality when you see that the owner knows and speaks on familiar terms with half of the customers. After letting myself be tempted by the excellently made grilled ravioli, let's move on to the Udon pasta, a variety of Japanese pasta at the base, but ok let's see what it gives to the Fleuve d'or sauce... Served on a cast iron dish for the keep warm, it works. Taste more than OK, pasta a little overcooked for my taste and the whole thing downright too greasy. Impeccable service and atmosphere, it's always pleasant to see customers and restaurateurs interacting, which is why I will undoubtedly return despite my mixed opinion on the main course.

We ordered via UberEats on a Friday evening, so far we don't care at all 🤭😂. But this is where it gets interesting... The delivery man was right on time, the dishes arrived very hot, they were succulent and above all a very special mention for the "eggplant with Sichuan spices with minced pork" which were simply DELICIOUS... I highly recommend! Thanks to the team!!

I had three starters (steamed shrimp ravioli, pork ribs and shrimp fritters) followed by Sichuan beef with rice and for dessert I recommend the homemade matcha tiramisu or the ice cream fritter. .. An address to recommend without hesitation!

Small update, negative this time: have you changed cooks? Because the fried noodles with shrimp that I ate this evening were overcooked and too greasy, no taste, the few vegetables (especially bits of white onions and green tails) not cooked. The 4 shrimps were good. My husband had beef with onions and Cantonese rice: same observation = no taste. It's a shame because it was really good before... The management as well as the staff had to change because a few years ago our experience had not been good but since 2021, not only are the staff adorable but the dishes are delicious!!

In my opinion one of the best Chinese restaurants in Geneva. The prices are certainly a little more expensive than in other restaurants, but taste-wise it is worth it. The service is great despite the fact that some employees speak very little French, they do their service with a smile and that is not insignificant these days. I have already been there about thirty times and I will return many more.

We went this evening and found everything perfect. First of all, the welcoming was smiling, friendly and helpful, our table was ready and very well located, which allowed us to have an excellent time. The food was excellent, whether starters, soups, main courses, everything was very good and in very good quantities. For those who complain about not having any side dishes, the portions are so generous that they do this in order I imagine to avoid waste. The deserts are delicious and the bill is correct. The restaurant was full, a sign that it remains a good place. We will come back with pleasure.

I tried the chef's fried tofu and I loved it! It's rare to find vegan dishes in Geneva, and this one was really good. We had a fairly large order delivered by Uber Eat consisting of various dishes from the menu. So we were able to taste quite a few different flavors. In conclusion, we were very disappointed. First of all, the meats were very tough. They were even complicated to cut with knives and really lacked tenderness. In addition, these meats are served without basic accompaniments and rice is extra. This would not be a problem if meat prices were in line with the actual quality of the products. Here I find that the value for money is really very bad and I also have the impression of having paid way too much for what I ended up getting on my plate. Finally, I can't understand the ratings from previous customers. I even asked myself the question if I was of course the right page. I think that in Geneva, you can find much better and for much more affordable prices. (cf. The banana leaf?).

I am amazed by the positive comments! 4 of us went there and all 4 were disappointed. Peking duck, extremely dry skin, minimal quantity and maximum price and served on unmissable uncooked noodles. The pancakes also stick and dry and then arrives the rest of the duck with ginger or rather ginger with duck! And all this accompanied by 3, 4 mini vegetables...don't think about going back.

I didn't expect much from Karuju Chinese Restaurant, but it was surprisingly delicious. The staff are also very friendly. Even the little sparrows hovering around you while dining at an outdoor table add to your mood.

My partner and I visited this restaurant last week. We have often passed by but never entered. One evening we decide to go there but reading the comments for my part I go a little backwards. But in the end everything was a treat from the starter to the main course and the dessert. In addition, the atmosphere is friendly and the team listens. The only downside is that the accompaniments are separate from the dish and it seems to me, unless I'm mistaken, that it's not listed on the menu, which is a shame.

I had never eaten such a poorly made dish. The dishes are overly expensive without accompaniments. Not even white rice. You pay 28.- for a beef dish and frankly I was surprised by the texture of the meat. It looked like expired meat! Chicken the same! I will not order from this restaurant again. I don't understand the good ratings on the dishes.

We ordered on Uber eats. The beef and chicken were really not good. The price is too expensive. You don't have any accompaniments with the dish. It's an extra!! The quality of the meats really needs to be checked!! Very disappointed and do not recommend this restaurant.

One of the worst restaurants I have even been in my life...I ordered a Poulet Agri Douce and it was actually pre-heated chicken with ketchup and a bowl of hard old rice. My girlfriend had noodles with veggies and it was shameful to say at least...apart for not having vegetables, it tasted worse than an 1 dollar noodle that you can buy at any supermarket, put some heat water and it is ready in two minutes (that's not a joke). And let's not forget about the price: we paid a total of 41 CHF (45 US Dollars) for this nonsense. It's just a lack of respect what this restaurant is doing. Very disapointed.

This restaurant should absolutely be avoided! We don't understand the good comments on google. It's very expensive, but the food is frozen and terrible. We left without finishing the dishes. I ordered fried vegetable noodles - I received plain noodles in oil, sprinkled with a few mini bits of carrot and cabbage. A lack of respect for the customer - I could have done better with noodles for 3 francs with some frozen vegetables. We were seated near the bar - the waitress did the dishes right next to us, horrible. There are better - and cheaper - Asian restaurants that prepare fresh dishes, near Plainpalais for example.

Hello everyone today I went to the Chinese restaurant FLEUVE D'OR. The friendly and welcoming staff the simple but traditional setting I started with shrimp fritters that were really very good and 4 pieces for 10.- its worth then I continued with chicken satay skewers which were good but lacked a little flavor namely that it's really homemade with fresh chicken breasts 3 pieces for 10.- it's worth it but be careful ⚠️ for small eaters it's very copious to follow the main course noodles sautéed with shrimp 18.- and there it's it's a little spoiled the noodles are good but lack flavor and only 4 shrimps of size 16/20 plus the dish was lukewarm too bad. The kitchen staff a little brilliant then one of the waitresses kept petting the dog then served customers without washing their hands a little lack of hygiene the clean toilets overall I had a good time while remaining a little perplexed on the last points which I hope should improve. I will do a 2nd experiment next Saturday August 14 and I will let you know if it is arranged. Habituée des lieux, c'est un restaurant que j'apprécie énormément !Je viens souvent tant avec mon conjoint qu'avec mes amies et le menu canard laqué grande faim est toujours incroyable.Le canard au gingembre ou le cantonnais (laqué), le bœuf sichuan ou au gingembre, les aubergines sel et poivre sont des plats que je recommande particulièrement !Laetitia, la gérante est vraiment sympathique ainsi que le personnel.PS: ils adorent les chiens et mettent toujours une gamelle remplie d'eau pour ceux-ci. Un geste que j'apprécie énormément même si je n'ai pas de chien
