Discovered by chance on a Thursday evening, everything was perfect! The dishes and the welcome are excellent. A big plus for a beef skewer as a starter (the name of which I don't remember) which was tender as butter! A delight. In short, there were three of us and we loved the service, present and discreet! Very good address we will come back

Food is not great, and service non enthusiastic. Asked for some spicy sauce to give it some taste and got a teaspoonful, so I asked for some more. Was appalled to see 2* 2 CHF for hot sauce on the bill. This is not how you do it, sorry.

Best Peruvian in town, hands down. Start with enjoying a great pisco sour while waiting for the delicious ceviche starter. Then continue with the unparalleled lomo saltado and finish with a slice of maracuyá cheesecake. Only thing that can be improved is the service. But you come here for what's in the plate

We tried a SPECTACULAR ceviche! The lomo saltado is very tender and juicy and has a very special flavor! Don't hesitate to ask about the huancaína gnocchi!! Unbeatable desserts, my favorite is the LEMON PIE! We will not hesitate to return!

What to say !? A long-time customer at their old address, this new place pays more homage to the quality of the cuisine and service. Special mention for a classic, but so good: the antichuchos! Restaurant not to be missed whether you are already a fan of Peruvian cuisine or want to discover it!

Good Peruvian cuisine, questionable decor, a bit smoky atmosphere (the clothes smell like cooking when leaving), decent service without any particular empathy and relatively high prices for the standard. To be recommended however.

This is not the first time that I have encountered this establishment. The chef is great, but the room service is pitiful. Last experience Sunday November 26, 2023, around 2 hours of waiting, arrival at 1:30 p.m., distributed at 3:30 p.m. without having eaten barely a starter, for 2, even though the dishes had been ordered at the same time??? No words of apology, no commercial gesture when we decided to get up to finally go eat elsewhere.

Going to Peru means going through Rosa Morena. A kaleidoscope of flavors and scents sprinkled with good humor and professionalism in an authentic setting. In a word, GO FOR IT!!

AMAZING gourmet homestyle Peruvian at a family-run place. Excellent pisco sours, fried rice and ceviches (everything I’ve tried has been great). Colourful dishes are enchanting and sure to impress 🎨

For us it is the best Peruvian restaurant in Switzerland which shows the real and best traditional cuisine. The products are of top quality, the flavors are authentic, the dishes are prepared and presented as in the best restaurants in Lima. The bosses Pilar and Vincent are very attentive and friendly. We had a very pleasant time and we felt like home. To be done again very soon... :)

Good food, crazy prices! When you ask for a little hot sauce and when you receive the bill you read 2.- chf for that, it sends a chill. The Peruvian cuisine is excellent, there are other restaurants in Geneva which do not take customers for cash cows, a word of advice: try them before coming to be offloaded at large margins...

Nous avons découvert ce petit restaurant à Carouge, un Samedi soir, grâce à un ami péruvien, Carlos. Ce restaurant propose beaucoup de repas traditionnel délicieux avec quelques pointes de fusion. Étant 5 personnes autour de la table, j’ai pu goûter naturellement aux autres plats servis autour de la table et j’ai pu ainsi élargir mes connaissances en cuisine péruvienne qui était délicieuse et faite sur le moment. Le vin chilien qui nous a été conseillé accompagnait parfaitement nos plats. Une belle découverte et à refaire absolument.

Lomo saltado bon, mais la viande avait un arrière goût de fumée (brûlé). Ne vaut pas les 38.- demandés. Le riz était correct et les frites bonnes. L'odeur de cigarette froide dans la salle est dérangeante, préférez la terasse.

Une adresse à connaître sur Genève. Dejà par téléphone, un échange sympathique avec le patron de l'établissement. (Terrasse or not terrasse) Arrivé sur place relativement tôt en terrasse finalement :) J'ai eu le droit a un fût tout de neuf d'une très bonne bière artisanale d'Appenzell. Les amis arrivent et là nous passons aux choses sérieuses. Tournée de Pisco Sour ! Sincerement j'ai eu l'occasion d'en boire à droite à gauche, mais ceux-ci valent le detour. J'ai commandé en entrée le poulpe et sa petite sauce à l'olive péruvienne, tout simplement divin ! Le poulpe était fondant, et une cuisson parfaite... Une explosion de saveur. En plat principal un Lomo Saltado (filet de bœuf tendre et goutu !) Tout est dans le tranchage nous dis le patron, ça se sent.. Exquis. Servis avec du riz à la cuisson parfaite et des frites goûteuses (peut être un brin trop molles à ma goût) je termine mon plat avec le sourire et repus :) Le dessert, un cheesecake aux fruits de la passion pour terminé en douceur. Une tuerie. Nous avons pris avec cela un Malbec Argentin qui c'est bien marié avec l'ensemble de nos plats. J'ai pas l'habitude de faire des commentaires mais ce resto en vaut le detour que ce soit au niveau de sa cuisine exquise que pour la chaleurosité du patron et de sa femme en cuisine. Des plats qui font chaud au cœur et bien presentés, une super ambiance. Nous y retournerons sans hésitations ! Merci ! Cédric

Un excellent restaurant Péruvien, je dirais même le meilleur restaurant péruvien de Genève !!!!! Vous ne pouvez pas manger péruvien ailleurs !!!!Habitué à la cuisine péruvienne, j'ai souvent du mal avec les restaurants Péruviens de Genève. Car d'autres restaurants du même genre sont assez chère pour un plats parfois froid,sec, sans saveurs, fait avec de mauvais produits et une présentation....."faite à l'arrache".Mais la Rosa Morena est diffèrent des autres biens que c'est prix soit encore plus élevé que la moyenne pour un simple riz sauté me direz-vous car oui si vous voulez mangez que un riz sauté n'allez pas à ce restaurant. Prenez quelque chose de plus élaboré voyons !!! (je dis ça car mon frère s'est plein du prix du riz sauté, alors qu'il peut clairement prendre un autre plat !!! Je vous rassure il l'a aimé son plat) Le restaurant est très agréable cela est surement du à leur serveurs et l'ambiance chaleureuse qui s'y dégagent. Parfois il y a même des petits groupes de chanteurs qui viennent jouer.Toutes la nourriture est faite maison par les mains d'une super cuisinière. On a souvent fêté l'anniversaire de ma grand-mère là-ba la dégustation est très élégante surtout le ceviche. Toujours très agréable d'y retourné une des occasions spéciale ...Si vous voulez découvrir la cuisine péruvienne. Je vous le recommande très fortement vous ne pouvez pas passer à côté de ce restaurant !!!!!

En passant un soir par hasard, je me suis arrêté pour prendre à manger à l'emporter et je ne regrette pas! Le Lomo Saltado était délicieux et la viande d'une qualité comme on voit dans peu de restaurant de nos jours. Le ceviche était enfin un vrai ceviche. Oui les prix peuvent paraître élevé mais quand on en voit la qualité, ça ne me dérange à aucun moment. Et le Patron de très bon conseil et très gentil! Je reviendrais sans hésitation!

C'était trop bon. L'accueil au top et la cheffe souriante. Je reviendrai car tout etait bon de la limonade maison au plat sans oublier le dessert. Les plats avaient beaucoup de gout bien assaisonnées.

Loved the food and service. The server was very welcoming even tho we arrived near closing time. For starters we had the causa de atun, which was delicious. For main plates we ordered the lomo saltado and the chaufa de camarones. Both were very good, specially the lomo as the meat was so insanely tender and juice, hands down best meat I’ve had. Note that this place is pricy but well worth it.

This review has a happy ending, but like fairy tales, you'll have to read to the end to enjoy it.We dined at the Rosa Morena last night at the suggestion of professional colleagues who told us that the food was excellent. We arrived for our reservation punctually and had no problem getting promptly seated. The restaurant is simple but clean and somewhat charming. Then, the people who arrived after us were given menus while we were left ignored at our table.The waiter arrived at our table and asked if h could take a drink order and we asked for two glasses of Chardonnay (because Chardonnay does not create a burning sensation for sensitive stomachs.) We were told that they had no Chardonnay. When we asked for for a suggestion for another similar wine, the waiter recommended a Gamay wine, which is both red and from the Savoie/Haute-Savoie region. We said no, and asked for the menu. On the menu, we found a Chilean Cabernet-Sauvignon (made from Chardonnay grapes.) The wine arrived and was fine.We ordered the "starter" suggested on the chalkboard in the restaurant, a Ceviche de saumon to be split between us. After five minutes, we were told there was no more of this starter even though the restaurant was only 30% full. We were told it was our fault, because the suggestion had been crossed out, but this was not the case. The 19 franc price has been crossed out like a hashtag. We reordered a normal Ceviche for 22 francs. When it arrived, we saw two large spoonfuls of Ceviche. The waiter stepped on my foot with all his weight while serving us! I took a photo in total astonishment considering the inexpensive price of cod/cabillaud!Our main dish, Anticuchos, arrived! Simply put, it was amazing and would have been even more so had we not had all the problems preceding this. The meat was delicious, tender and well presented. We both enjoyed every bit of it, completely.My summary? Skip the starter and don't ask for advice about the wine. Don't take someone there on a first date when you hope to make a lasting impression. Go there when you want an amazing main dish, in a simple environment, and really feel like Peruvian is a must. The taste of the mat is still in my head 24 hours after we went there. Our check for the experience was 120 francs, quite a lot considering everything! I doubt we would choose to go back, considering the wide selection of Peruvian restaurants in Geneva.

Accueil adorableEt cuisine excellente.Découverte pour moi de la cuisine péruvienne et je n'ai pas été déçu. Les plats était juste excellent et d'une fraîcheur très appréciable.J'y retournerais avec plaisir et surtout ferais presque le détour pour boire à nouveau un pisco sour juste incroyable.

Les mets sont goûteux, l'accueil est chaleureux, seul soucis le Restaurant n'est pas équipé, par temps de grande chaleur. Mais ce n'est qu'un détail au final.

Un lieu très sympathique, une cuisine absolument délicieuse avec une limonade maison absolument divine. Les prix sont abordables et c'est de la vraie cuisine péruvienne.

On ressent une bonne qualité du produit, spécialement la viande de lomo saltado qui est parfaite. L'assortiment d'entrée est délicieux, bien que la sauce huancaina manquait de gout pour ma part. Je trouve les prix excessifs et j'ai l'impression qu'ils veulent mettre un aspect gastronomique dans le resto par exemple en servant les accompagnements a coté mais je trouve personnellement cela futile. (Le riz etait trop cuit et le pisco sour pas incroyable.)

La première constatation est que le serveur transpire la gentillesse. Tout le temps souriant, jovial, il explique toujours la composition des plats et n’hésite pas à bien conseiller. Sinon en ce qui concerne l’établissement, il dispose de 30 places (sans compter la terrasse), assez bien entretenu avec une petite décoration péruvienne et une discrète musique classique d’Amérique latine.Comme je suis venu avec ma famille, et que la cuisine péruvienne nous était inconnue, on a pu tester plusieurs plats. Alors j’ai ouï dire que la cheffe a remporté un concours contre plusieurs chefs du Pérou et sincèrement ça se ressent dans les assiettes. On dirait un mélange entre un repas fait maison et mets gastronomique. Elle est même parvenue à me faire manger du poisson (sauf les sushis, ça j’aime bien), alors que d’habitude je n’y arrive pas (il appelle ça du ceviche froid). Donc voici les meilleurs choix après dégustation. Tout d’abord je vous recommande fortement de goûter à leur boisson appelée chicha morada (très rafraîchissante et faite à base de maïs violet). Ensuite en entrée il y a les anticuchos (brochettes de bœuf mariné dans une succulente sauce épicée), le festival de causa (il y en a 3 sortes et elles sont toutes super bonnes), la papa la huancaina (ingrédients simples, mais la sauce fait toute la différence). Sinon en plat principal je vous préconise le arroz chaufa de pollo (un riz sauté au poulet extra qui existe aussi en version bœuf ou crevettes). Et enfin pour le dessert il ne faut pas manquer le pie de maracuya aux fruits de la passion.Sinon concernant les prix, ils sont dans la moyenne de Genève et la carte est très fournie. J’ai entendu dire que le patron souhaiterait inscrire son établissement à la fourchette et j’espère que cela se fera car il le mérite amplement (surtout qu’il y a peu de restaurants péruviens à Genève). S’il y aurait en revanche un petit défaut à admettre c’est la quantité de nourriture pour les entrées n’est pas amplement suffisant surtout au vue des prix genevois (pas pour les plats principaux, eux ils sont correctement fournis).

Nouvelle à Genève, restaurant conseillé par un collègue péruvien. Des saveurs particulièrement délicieuses et goûtues, un voyage au Pérou le temps d'une soirée. Un service irréprochable.Merci!!

Repas de soirée de boite, excellente découverte. Il faut se laisser guidé par le personnel pour le repas. La repas sont préparé à la minute. Monsieur fait le service en salle et madame est aux fourneau et l'ambiance est très conviviale.Petite salle, ce qui est très agréable au niveau du bruit.
