Went there for lunch and were very busy. Either make a reservation or go from 1 p.m. Very tasty, lunch menu with soup at great value for money.

Happy to find this place in a small town where i go everyday from the capitol to work. Solid takeaway portions (for an attractive price), really good buffet when there is one, and the cooking - well, it impressed me more, than e.g. the one from Pflaumengarten in Bern. The only reason to come here not everyday is a really competitive stake offer nearby, but still 3-4 times a week is what this place deserves.

Terrible!!! although we are basically the first to do so When we were there, we waited an hour for the main course. The quality is very poor, the sauces like gravy with Chinese spices, soggy and the meat is tough. The waitress didn't ask how the food was or say goodbye... unfriendly, unattractive facilities and bad food at exorbitant prices! We'll never come back!!

The Frigate is a small but fine Chinese restaurant. The food is very tasty and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The prices are fair. In summer there are a few places to sit outside. If there is no space to eat on site, you can also have the food take-away. A visit to the frigate is definitely worth it. We are always guests.

Very good food. Unfortunately it is very cold and rough inside, there is no music, you can hear every word and the smacking of other guests. We had to wait a long time for food and I got about 7 minutes before my husband got his food... But the food is really great and the service is very friendly.

Very nice Asian restaurant with a variety of Chinese and Thai dishes on the menu (I personally like the Chinese dishes best, which are freshly and authentically prepared by the friendly host family from China). The restaurant itself is stylishly decorated in Chinese style, but unfortunately not very large. When the weather is nice, there are also garden tables behind the house. A visit is always a pleasure (it's best to reserve a table in advance)

I always like the food very much! Small mistakes happen every now and then - then the ability to take criticism/goodwill could be better. I just don't understand why no takeaway is currently possible?! I look forward to news and being able to pick up food again.

Great restaurant with a variety of dishes. Very friendly staff and nicely decorated dining room. Since the restaurant does not have many seats, it is advisable to reserve in advance. Vegetarian dishes are offered, but nothing vegan.

Unfortunately we were turned away despite the restaurant being almost empty... What a shame!

The two of us were there on a Sunday evening at 8 p.m. The restaurant was apparently already overwhelmed with two full tables with 6 people each already eating, or at least that's what the chef told us. We were no longer allowed to order anything, neither for take away nor to eat there. What do they do when the restaurant is really full, or what else do they have room for around 30 people for?

Very nice, if a bit old-fashioned looking Chinese restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is warm. There is a large selection of dishes so that everyone should find something that suits them. Unfortunately, the prices, especially for take-away, are quite high and the side dishes are charged extra. Card payment also only possible with credit card. But I'd be happy to do so every now and then.

Die Fregatte in Belp ist ein grossartiges Lokal um assiatische Küche zu geniessen. Sowohl im Restaurant selber wie auch als Take away ein Geheimtipp in Belp. Das Essen ist sehr autentisch und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Schönes Restaurant! Super Service. Nehmen sich Zeit für den Gast und kennt deinen Namen. Das Essen ist frisch und sehr lecker. Schön dekoriert. Die frittiert Vanilleglace ist der Hammer. Preisgünstig ist es auch. Sehr empfehlenswert. Tisch reservieren empfehlenswert auch unter der Woche.

Waren schon öfter hier und genießen es jedesmal. Am Abend wird das Essen auf Platten serviert, schön garniert oder in Ananashälfte angerichtet, sieht super aus. Es schmeckt immer! Gastgeberin ist immer freundlich! Vielen Dank und auf ein nächstes Mal :-).

Dies ist das beste chinesische Restaurant, das ich auch schon in der aktuellen Reise in die Schweiz. Sehr authentisch chinesische Essen und sie haben sehr aufregend Desserts.

Service: der Service ist freundlich und bemüht.Ambiente: das Restaurant ist eher klein aber einigermassen gemütlich.Essen: das Essen ist ok. Ich finde es aber nicht besser als sonstige chinesische Restaurants, so dass ich nur in die Fregatte gehe wenn es wirklich nicht anders geht. Im Vergleich gibt es aber einige chinesische Restaurants in der Umgebung die die viel besser sind.Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: wenn ich die Fregatte mit anderen chinesischen Restaurants in der Umgebung vergleiche finde ich den Preis eher hoch (da die Preise den anderen Restaurants entsprechen aber die Qualität nicht).

Solide asiatische Küche mit mittelmässiger Qualität. Kleines Lokal, etwas kitschig eingerichtet und das Angebot bietet was von einem asiatischen Restaurant erwartet werden kann, aber nicht mehr.

Service gut , essen gut , Preis Leistung stimmt. Gute übersichtliche Speisekarte. Zu Stosszeiten wie Abendessen am we empfehle ich zu reservieren.

Das Restaurant war ziemlich voll, auch wegen einer Gruppe die Geburtstag gefeiert hat. Der Moment bis zur Bestellung ging lang. Und auch bis das Essen serviert wurde dauerte es relativ lang. Dies ist aber in meinen Augen noch kein Problem wenn man nicht in Eile ist (was wir nicht waren). Das Essen war gut. Was mich am meisten gestört hat, sind die Preise. Es gibt im Raum Bern deutlich besseres Essen zum selben Preis. Auch dass ein kleines Schälchen Basmatti CHF 4.- kostet ist zu viel. Zumal die Preise für ein Menu (Rind) schon CHF 27.50 ist. In anderen Restaurants erhält man 2-3 Schalen Reis, oft gratis oder für viel weniger Geld. Fazit: Gutes Essen, sehr einfache Einrichtung, etwas längere Wartezeiten, freundliche Bedienung, Preis-/Leistung zu hoch für Belp.

Die Fregatte bietet sehr gutes chinesisches Essen. Die Gerichte werden auch sehr schön angerichtet mit geschnitzten Tieren aus Karotten oder Äpfeln. Wurde bisher immer positiv überrascht in der Fregatte.

Das Fregatte empfiehlt sich seit einigen Jahren als "Geheimtip" für die Liebhaber der Chinesischen Küche. Wir gehen regelmässig und gerne hin..

Der Mittagstisch ist sehr gut und dazu preiswert. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Kleines, nettes Restaurant, familiär geführt, und es ist immer lecker!!!

Haben ein Restaurant in der Nähe der Mühle Hunziken gesucht und uns spontan für das Fregatte entschieden. Von aussen her nicht gerade einladend, gelangt man durch den Hintereingang neben privaten Gegenständen ins Restaurant, so dass bereits dort eine familiäre Atmosphäre entsteht. Das Restaurant ist sehr klein, die Atmosphäre war an diesem Abend sehr gut, eine gute Mischung der Gäste. Das Essen war gut, die Bediebubg freundlich.

Die Fregatte ist ein gutes China-Restaurant. Die Speisen sind gut, jedoch nicht ganz authentisch. Dim Sum beispielsweise findet man auf der Karte nicht. Ideal für ein gesundes Mittagessen, oft gibt es auch ein Mittagsbuffet (1x im Monat Mo-Do).

Das Lokal ist relativ klein, im "üblichen" Chinarestaurant-Dekor gehalten. Das Essen war ausgesprochen gut und mit Liebe zubereitet. Leider war es draussen sehr kalt und die Fenster schlecht gedämmt, so dass immer etwas Zugluft herrschte. Das chinesische Personal war gut, ab und so etwas etwas unbeholfen aber liebevoll und bemüht, ihre Arbeit gut zu machen. Alles in allem ausgesprochen gut gegessen, wenn auch nicht gerade günstig...
