Not worth visiting for brunch! Had a reservation for 6, which was confirmed via text message. Staff were not prepared and had no reservations in the system. Service was very unfriendly/snippy, couldn't explain the dishes and was always on the smartphone or eating/drinking himself. DANGER! “Restaurant” is in a bar and a breakfast/brunch vibe is not present! Unfortunately there isn't even a basic breakfast drink like cappuccino available. Low quality food, ok in taste but not authentically Mexican, not worth visiting.

Food is quite small and service is not very fast. Atmosphere is nice. Once a time never again, sad. Not a good mexican restaurant.

We had made a reservation for Friday March 2nd, which was also confirmed. Unfortunately, we were ignored by both service employees and left standing for at least 10 minutes, and they saw us, of course, when we entered. We stood before the gentlemen. When they fortunately decided to speak to us, we were greeted neither with a welcome nor an apology and we were left standing. We didn't feel welcome! But the best is yet to come: When we told them that we had a reservation, we were told that this wasn't the case. When we finally showed the reservation confirmation, we were blamed for not responding to the “CONFIRMATION”. What is the point of a confirmation that you received from a restaurant if you have to respond to it? Especially when the confirmation says: Your reservation is all set! If a waiter doesn't speak English, it's not a problem, admit it and get someone who understands. If the reservation didn't go through internally, that can happen, but that's not our problem, please support us because we are YOUR customers. But blaming a customer and treating us so rudely and indecently, sorry, that's not possible! I don't know how you earned the 5.0 stars, but definitely not! Too bad, just disappointed! They didn't want to help us and we left again.

We went to Frida with some friends for brunch. The food was delicious: highly recommend the chilaquiles (chicken or yucatecos) or huevos rancheros. Great atmosphere as well, with very nice and friendly service (thanks Alex)!

I rarely give 5 stars but everything was perfect here! The food was great and came pretty quickly despite the restaurant being full. The service is excellent, the people are very friendly, funny and personable. We sat at the bar because there weren't any free tables left, but it was still super pleasant. The place is decorated in a cool way and has a great atmosphere. Will definitely come back!

Portions are more snack-sized than a full dinner. Very friendly service. Cool atmosphere. Crepes too thick and greasy, tasted reheated. Mediocre selection of beers. Cocktails 18.- a pop. Does not accept lunch checks in the afternoon. If you give 5 stars, you get a free drink…

Very fine Burrito Al Pastor with perfect spiciness. The service is also very friendly and the food came shortly after ordering. Highly recommended!

Mexican which is located between Seefeldstrasse and the lake. The restaurant is beautifully furnished (a bit reminiscent of a lounge/bar) and offers seating both inside (high tables or comfortable couches) and outside (benches). The food can be eaten on site or take away is possible - orders are taken at the bar area. The food (we had quesadillas) is good and good value for money. Soft drinks are only available in cans and are chilled in a trough with ice. The staff is friendly, but a bit overwhelmed and doesn't speak German. Overall, a good alternative for lunch in Seefeld!

First of all, I don't like "funny" stuff like this. I was invited for "dinner" at this place but it is a VERY LOUD BAR which is serving some Mexican food. You have to be clear that this is a Bar experience and not as Dining experience and that is the reason to review with not so many stars. The place is extremely loud and therefore it is impossible to have proper communication with your mates. For those who like it, feel free to go. I don't think I will become a regular guest here. Apart from this, some of us got not the food they ordered, since everything was wrapped in foil, some of the bytes got mixed up...for a party of 6 this should not happen.

New review: Eaten on site. The bartender was extremely friendly and funny. I ordered the Nacho Bites and three different tacos. Both were really very good, very juicy and fresh. The “Birkin Forever” drink was also perfect. The price of the food is on the high end but it's worth it. I will come back. Old rating (3 stars): Ordered via Uber Eats. The buritto is really small and therefore not worth the money. 20 Fr. (25 Fr. without discount) is too much. Without the additional chips for 3 Fr. you would have had almost no chips at all. The taste of the buritto was good, but it wasn't exceptional either.

The best Mexican food that you can get in Zurich!

Tacos are a bit small for the price (7 chf). The food came quickly an tasted amazing. The restaurant is comfortable and not too crowded at lunch.

The food is very fine and the two serving people are in a very good mood and recommend and describe the menu very well. However, I'm not the type of person who likes to eat in a bar. I would clearly separate the bar and the restaurant to achieve a better ambience. 🤙🏽

Quesedilla convinced me and was the best I've had so far in Zurich. I'd love to come back

It's a pleasant space where you can socialize and spend the night differently.

Frida is absolutely unique! And man has created something unique in Zurich in a short time to bring Frida Kahlo and Serge Gainsbourg under one roof! Food 10/5 Service was overwhelmingly good. Locally a WoW. Frida stands for Mexican street food, in which, in a bar inspired by Serge Gainsbourg, you find two parallels of the extra class that couldn't be combined better. A must go for everyone. I recommend going later in the evening, where you can eat a burrito with pastor and chipotle sauce and then sit quietly with wonderful cocktails and a cozy atmosphere.

The food was very delicious, the staff was super friendly and there was a generally pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Prices are on the upper limit, but still fair for Zurich.

Is a nice place to go for brunch, prices are really good for Zürich. Staff was really friendly and kind, but was not the fastest. We went for a Sunday brunch, wasn't crowded and staff was relaxed, but pace wasn't that fast. Meal was tasty and most likely I will return.

Nice chill place. It’s hard to find Frida cause it’s co shared with another restaurant but the tacos we ate were decent (Zurich overall has fairly average tacos) and ambience was fine

Were there for brunch, chilaquiles and enchiladas, both excellent and very authentic. I only missed the hot drinking chocolate (traditionally water-based) and unfortunately there is no vegan milk for the coffee either. The operation was uncomplicated and quick. Gladly again!

When I first came into the bistro I was a bit disappointed because I thought it was a restaurant but when I ate the pulled pork taco 🌮 my opinion was immediately different. A bit much meat but that's fine. Service is funny and nice. I'll probably come back again 😄

Top Mexican food, as you know it from Frida. Surprisingly large selection, brunch with breakfast burrito also recommended. Coffee is just fine. Reasonably priced. Service is nice, ambience is clearly a matter of taste - outside is less comfortable as it is right on a busy road.

We order two burritos, nachos and guacamole. Burritos were really good, but it came with 12 nachos for two people plus a waterish guacamole. We thought the guacamole was leftovers together with water.

Small menu with a delicious selection. The pork burrito was great. The waiter served very courteously. The spicy sauce is really spicy.

New Brunch menu by Frida every Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm, Mexican style menu (breakfast burrito, enchiladas, chilaquiles, aguas frescas, cafe and conchas) best mexican food in town. Great service and prices too. The place is pet friendly and has outdoor seating for a nice summer vibe.
