Warm ambience, warm and soothing

The Froburg Pate Cafe in Heiden, center, is an absolute highlight of a cafe. Modern yet rustic. Warm welcome, nice service, creative design of the rooms and dishes as well as food culture. Clean toilets. And dessert that almost blows your mind so good. IT'S WORTH GOING.

We had the best cream slice ever and the homemade spinach quiche with lettuce was also very tasty!! Great cafe to chill out and a very friendly boss🤗👍 we'll be back soon!!

A truly exceptional cafe, with excellent products such as homemade juices and fine tarts. The Nespresso coffee is good, but an Italian machine would be even better. Not to forget the great leather armchairs. A discovery!

The service was extremely nice and accommodating. The cream slice was excellently airy and fluffy, a poem. The sandwich was also delicious and reasonably priced. I can highly recommend this cafe. Visit Heiden and take a break in the Frohburg.

Good service and nice conditions

Went to the Heiden Christmas market yesterday and wanted to have a nice drink. I chose Café Frohburg because it looked quite cozy from the outside. When we came in, a young gentleman held the door open for us and greeted us in a friendly manner, which made a nice first impression. Unfortunately, it only remained positive. We found a comfortable place and a female waiter came, greeted us briefly and asked what we would like. When I asked if you sell punch, I was told no, only outside at the stand. I had to get it there myself and pay for it straight away... My partner took a tea. 5min. later a couple came in, were warmly greeted and asked about their wishes. When the wife asked for something sweet, she was recommended the fresh donuts from the stand outside. It took less than 5 minutes. and one was brought to her by an employee. She didn't have to get it herself or pay for it outside. People kept coming in and being greeted nicely. When my partner wanted to pay, our waitress just continued working and then came to us at some point when she was finished. No nice welcome, no smile, no warmth, nothing, we weren't even said goodbye. Oh yes, we were charged 5 Fr for the usual peppermint tea in a glass. overcharged, far too expensive! We really wonder if only locals are welcome in this restaurant. We were definitely there for the first and last time!

Since all the tables were occupied or reserved, we sat down at the bar. Unfortunately, today we were rudely asked by a lady who was serving to look after the dog under the bar stool. Someone has to show me how to place a 20 kg dog under the bar stool.

The place is fantastic, to be passing through the City of Heiden. Its very personal and charismatic service. Its very cordial workers.
