Very good quality of the products. Everything is super delicious, I will definitely repeat this place. We went to the store that is right next to the train tracks and I thought it was very nice. It has a nice terrace.

The lady - elderly woman shouted at Nathalie- the young lady for no reason. We felt terribly sorry for the young lady. And unfortunately the elderly lady has 0 respect to clients. We told her she can be nice to her collègue when clients are inside, she started laughing loudly saying she was the BOSS. Such a shame.

Service was warm to us and our little one, offering additional cutlery before we asked. The blueberry tart was light and delightful, and the cold cuts + cheese with the medium breakfast set were good. The hot chocolate that came with the breakfast set was very substantial - it came in a metal jug.

Ordinary taste cake compared to the price We took a video of the bread. with the cake because I thought it was cute, but the staff said they didn't like having photos taken. I was confused. There should have been a sign notifying them not to take photos.

We were here yesterday to have a small lunch. Quality excellent, only a drop on the "hot" stone, the food didn't come to the table hot. We answered the service staff's question about what it was like accordingly. Conclusion: the coffee and dessert were not charged! A very GENEROUS act. My wife and I will definitely visit this bakery again because the products produced in this bakery are of the highest quality and are convincing in every respect. Thank you.

Very good coffee on the upper floor with a view of Bahnhofstrasse. I enjoyed a coffee and a piece of curd cake (very delicious). If someone thinks to compare the quality and price with Coop and Migros, they are wrong.

This is a delicious bakery that I always visit at least once when I come to Zermatt. You can eat at the cafe on the second floor, but on days when the weather is bad, there are a lot of people visiting, so it's crowded all day long. My favorite was the rich tomato soup that came inside the hollowed-out bread, but I was shocked to see that it was missing from the menu this time along with the barley soup. I had vegetable soup (11CHF) instead and ate all the bread in the container. There was also Curry Coconut Soup (11CHF) and White Wine Soup (12CHF). You can also eat the bread you buy on the 1st floor on the 2nd floor. The croissant (1.9CHF) is also delicious. Cappuccino was 4.7CHF. I'm Japanese, but I've never experienced the bad behavior of the staff as mentioned in other comments.

Waited half an hour for food that didn’t arrive. When asking where it was the waitress looked at us before walking off and serving people who had only just been seated. She then blatantly ignored and eye rolled us on multiple occasions. Once leaving after determining we wouldn’t receive our food, they tried to charge us not only for the food but for other items as well! Very glad I checked the bill before paying. Safe to say we will not be returning and am extremely disappointed with customer service.

Experienced terrible service toward (Asian) tourists whereby I would give 0 stars if there was an option for that. The eldest female staff served my family and I in an extremely hostile manner where she was in a hurry to get our order and before we could even finish ordering, she brushed us off and said "I still have many tables to serve" and thereafter, she walked away without even finishing taking our order. When we pointed to items on the menu due to us being tourists and being unable to read some German words, she frowned and gestured for us to stop pointing and implied for us to pronounce them to her instead because it was slowing down the ordering process for her. Overall, this was extremely rude service towards tourists where we did not even do anything to offend her. And honestly, other than her, the other waitresses were pretty nice so it was really just her that ruined the experience for tourists like my family.

I visited the cafe on the 11th November 2022 and found it to be a very friendly place. It's situated on the 2nd floor. A simple coffee cream was served with the milk in a chocolate container and beside it a small chocolate in the shape of the Matterhorn. Also a glass of water. Very nice. It's a small place and was busy with tourists and local people. It's not big and easy to attract the waitress to pay the bill. I returned later and purchased a Quiche Lorraine tart from their shop on the street level.

Terrible service. We arrived 30 minutes before closing to drink a coffee, the barmaid did not want to serve us, alluding to the fact that « soon » the bar would close. I had to insist on being able to drink a coffee (paid dearly and served in a paper cup) while sitting. Now, 15 minutes before closing, the staff is vacuuming between the legs of customers who are still calmly finishing their (always expensive) drinks.

Nice local place to have a drink, a little meal and enjoy. The café is on the 1st floor and you have a view of Zermatt's Bahnhofstrasse. The map offers many choices. Can highly recommend the smoothies.

The staff is not so friendly, the voice is not so pleasing. As a tourist i recommend her to smile always!

Tried apple strudel and apple pie. They are all good although strudel was a bit sweet for me. But apple pie was super good me and my friend loved it!!

During the checkout, items appeared that we had never purchased. I think the clerk made a mistake and we were overcharged by 50 CHF. Customers are advised to pay attention to the amount and items when checking out.

Rude, inefficient, unprofessional saleswoman at all. She made it clear to us that we were bothering her by wanting to buy from her store. Avoid at all costs!

Very friendly and warm place, very pleasant staff. Amazing dish of the day, with excellent value for money. Very good wine at very affordable prices. A good time to share with friends, to recommend. Slight downside, little choice on the menu, apart from the plt of the day.

The breakfast is more than disappointing, although this is probably due to the incompetence of the staff, who were unable to cook eggs until soft (in 3 attempts). The first ones were raw (the protein wasn't even remotely set but was clear and transparent). The "sausage and cheese platter" for 2 was loveless and absolutely inadequate for the price. Hero's jam, the cheapest product on the market. In addition, you will be met with absolute incomprehension if you complain about an obvious defect. No apology or offer to correct the mistake That was definitely our last breakfast at Fuchs in Zermatt. A pity.

Excellent bakery in Zermatt. Their croissants and pain au Chocolats were quite authentic and delicious tasting. I walked here every day during my stay on my way to skiing and bought a croissant and a roll for my breakfast and sandwich for lunch. Friendly service.

Ms. Gorat from the branch at Bahnhofstrasse 72 was unprofessional and unfriendly today. Which bread I choose shouldn't be their problem. Fuchs is legendary but at this location (there are three in Zermatt) I experienced an extremely unprofessional service today. Mrs Gorat wasn't what one would expect in a bakery with so much history.

Great location, service and quite price worthy (considering we're in Zermatt), lunch meals for 10-15 CHF. Sunny terrace and also cozy inside. Everything we ate was fantastic: tomato soup (served in bread), spinach pie, crepe with ham and cheese, apfel strudel and pretzels.

Nice coffee with friendly staff and wonderful food. The soups are highly recommended! These are served in bread, which you can of course eat with as long as there is still room in your stomach, as the portions are generously calculated. The wonderful mountain guide bread is also very popular with us and is a must on every Zermatt hike! Very tasty and filling for a long time!

The Matterhorn-shaped chocolate is cute.

Although every channel introduces this place, I have to say that Matterhorn chocolates really taste ordinary and too sweet. The price of one piece is over NT$100. If you really want to experience it, just buy a single piece. Swiss chocolate is delicious. Too much...As for the bread, it doesn't taste very good, and it's very expensive.

It's a very welcoming bakery and pastry shop in a unique setting with an old gondola to see when you come and eat some pastries or an artisanal ice cream on the terrace. Obviously the prices are commensurate with the quality of the excellent products but for once you've done something crazy...

While traveling in Zermatt, I happened to find a bakery cafe near my hotel, but I didn't even know it was a famous chain. I really liked the cozy interior and the outdoor gondola seating. This is a place that makes and sells bread, chocolate, etc. The Zermatt bread with almonds was very healthy, and the soup was so delicious that I ate it all and ordered it again. The ice cream and the crepes were all so delicious that I ate them thinking, “It’s delicious!” Chocolates in the shape of the Matterhorn, a symbol of Zermatt, were also on sale and packaged as gifts. In front of the cafe, the mountain train heading to Gornergrat passes by, electric cars pass by, and you can see the scenery of the mountain village. I was touched by the kind guidance I received for ordering and had a great time.

Cakes, breads, pastries and coffee are great as always. There is no better bakery in Zermatt. The service is also great. Despite the crowds, everyone is friendly and accommodating.

I'm not talking about prices because we all know that in these tourist places they are off the charts. I was treated by the waitress (the older one) like the last beggar, despite behaving like a very humble person with all the necessary good mornings and please. These things are unacceptable, in my opinion in places like this. Furthermore, the hot chocolate comes from the vending machines found in the hospital and costs five times as much.

I have mixed feelings about this place for the first visit. The first lady was very attentive and offered me a seat very swiftly and took my order right away. I was very happy and was thinking of coming back every day since it was very close to my hotel. The second lady brought me dishes in hurry and came back in a few minutes though I was still eating. I had to stop eating while I pay and she quickly went inside the store. It was slightly disrespectful and discouraging attitude. A curry pain reminded me of the one I had in Japan except for some imbalanced location of fillings. Nothing is on the one side and the rest is at the other side. Still it’s worth trying for next several days to figure out the genuine quality of this place.

Every time I visit Zermatt I go here. The food is great and reasonably priced for Zermatt. The staff are friendly, speak several languages and the cafe itself is child friendly with a little play area and changing tables in both toilets.

Lovely place with awesome dessert. You also must try the tea. Ice cream looks delicious will be back for that later.
