Beautifully decorated, great service, DELICIOUS food

The food, the atmosphere and the service is amazing! I will stay here any time that I am in Switzerland.

Service was very personal, the restaurant (and hotel) were beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The food was awesome! We've been on a big tour with a huge group and this was our best stop BY FAR!

Absolute flop We waited an hour (!!) for the starter and that was a simple salad… Bread was also forgotten. We then waited another 40 minutes for the burger and the side dish was also the wrong one. Burger meat was almost raw and the rest was pretty disappointing too. The restaurant was half empty, which doesn't explain the enormous waiting times at all. Conclusion, the food didn't do justice to the waiting time and the enormous price. Next time we'll go to McDonalds

Nice dinner, meat and side dishes very fine as well as the spare ribs, nice selection of wine by the glass, nice service, we'll come back and try the meat from the dry ager

The server was not kind at all. We had the feeling that we bothered him… We will never ever bother him again!

We were there with 4 people. At first it was said that there weren't enough menus. Now we asked for drinks, which were served except for one. The 4th never came. This was only recognized when ordering food. 1 hour waiting time for 4 salads! After 30 minutes then you have the main courses. Burger still raw, meat ok, fries almost cold and no spoons for the sauces. The bread for the salad never came either. All in all a disappointment! Especially for the very high price. Almost 300 for 4 people. And the shop was almost empty.

Flopp. Table reserved, unfortunately that's when the problem started, it wobbled. Then we want to order, there is no steak. But steakhouse! Meal for two people, one gets his soup, the other has to wait... I want to pay, the service gives me a bill from the next table for 400 Swiss francs, but they served food half an hour before. Breakfast buffet very poor. You're constantly being watched when you go for a second helping. I have rarely felt so uncomfortable. It's a shame, as the hotel is in a very convenient location and the doorman was very friendly.

Had expected something completely different for a steakhouse.. a little more choice than 3 types of meat. The flunkstake came 2 seconds after we finished eating the salad (after the table next door got two flunkstakes that he hadn't ordered.. ) one small, the other large.. it was good but yes.. the bill then stunner.. unfortunately I didn't really look at the receipt until I got home.. it was charged for something completely different than what I ordered.. but it was completely different.. Ps) the espresso was really good!!

The meat was top. The vegetables were unseasoned (for whatever reason) 1* deduction because the reservation was not found for the second time, despite confirmation by email and on New Year's Eve 2022. Very annoying.

Nice service, I was solely responsible for the whole restaurant, so I was very stressed. Very nice atmosphere. Food was good but not in keeping with the price range. Ordered steak medium but received welldone. Service apologized for this. For these prices the quality of the food should be better.

The dudes in the evening time are rude. Looks like they are ready for a fight all the time. Have been staying at Sihlpark hotel and had a very bad experience with them 2-3 times. Morning breakfast lady was good and talk nicely with everyone. Not recommended for food at all. Should have learn some etiquettes how to treat their customers. Me with my other friends all have bad experience with the dudes.

We had dinner in the restaurant last night. Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. The service didn't know what was on offer and apparently there were several dishes and drinks, for example. a whiskey no longer there. Instead there were empty whiskey cartons on the shelf. Probably as decoration. The service also had to constantly come to our table to tell us that this and that was “OFF”. The spare ribs were very tasty. The risotto in the side dish is more like rice pudding. And I still can't understand how you can serve canned corn on a mixed salad. A shame for such a restaurant with such prices. All in all, unfortunately not good at all. We will no longer recommend the restaurant.

We had the 3 course surprise menu. For a steakhouse I expected something different than what you see in the photos. But generally the food was very tasty.

I recommend this place so much. The food is amazing quality, one of the best spaghetti that I've ever eaten, and I will never forget the cheesecake- a masterpiece.

One of the best restaurant experiences from A-Z. We happened to eat here while passing through and don't regret it. The food is A1 and the portions are big enough that no one has to go hungry! Special mention should be made of: The waiter, Sergio, was very, very nice and accommodating. He asked us several times if everything was okay and even brought us a blanket because we ate outside. Great value for money.

The food and the ambience are ok BUT: I had an entrecote, which was cooked on the grill in the middle of the restaurant and then placed on a shelf under heat lamps waiting to be picked up. I could see the waiter taking fries from my plate with his fingers and eating them. When he brought me the plate, I asked him if he did that with every plate? The answer: The fries were dirty and that's why he took them away. Unfortunately, on the one hand, I was so hungry and the meat was too fragrant, and on the other hand, I was so perplexed that I let the food go back.

We enjoyed a great dinner on a Monday evening. The service was attentive and very friendly, the wine recommendation was excellent. From the aperitif to the dessert, we were completely satisfied and will happily stop by again.

We ate at Fuego 2.0 two evenings in a row, the service from the boss was very attentive and courteous, and the food was very good. Price performance is absolutely fine for such quality. We highly recommend the Fuego and will be happy to stop by again on our next visit to the hotel.

According to the website, the place is open until 11pm. We've walked in 9:40pm only to be told the kitchen closes at 9:30pm and that we won't get any food. We've been here previously (up to 10 times), arrived even just before 10pm and it was still possible to get food. This time we've left disappointed and hungry.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the bad reviews. We were there for dinner today (April 30, 2023) and it was absolutely disappointing. First we were “parked” at the bar, the waiter would come back immediately (he seemed stressed but there were no people in the restaurant). After we ordered it took half an eternity to get our aperitif, which came directly with the starters. The beef tartare was nicely prepared but had no taste. No onions, no carp, no salt, no pepper and nothing hot to season. The beef carpaccio was carelessly served with store-bought shaved parmesan and was completely overpriced. Who eats carpaccio with basil please? Where is the olive oil, salt, pepper and flavor?! The main course was 1x 150g and 1x 300g beef fillet. The cooking level was okay, but the meat was so seared on the outside that it was like a crusty roast that you could chew. Whatever is served in this pot (I assume it's supposed to be some kind of Cafe de Paris)…. Either it had expired a long time ago or someone made a huge mistake in the taste. The baked potatoes were country fries, the risotto was more like rice pudding and the vegetables weren't great either. Every franc we had to spend today really hurt us - everyone can do THAT better at home! We were definitely there for the last time. And the icing on the cake was the waiter's stained clothes (and that after the room hour when you could have changed)

Was there for the first time yesterday. Excellent and diverse menu. The food is prepared with care and attention to detail. The service is friendly and professional. The kitchen is equipped with competent and trained chefs and you can tell by the quality of the food. Not for fast food fans or hobby eaters.

We had a steak and an Einsiedeln burger. I have to seriously say that I have rarely been disappointed by food like there. Lovelessly uncreative, no one needs to drive to a restaurant for dishes like that. Buratta with ham in advance was also just two components that were bought and put on the plate. We will definitely not come back.

We had reserved breakfast for 2 adults and a teenager. When we confirmed it in writing, we were promised a breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, cakes, muesli, various egg dishes, etc., which in the end was NOT true at all and wasn't even close to what was advertised!!!! On the contrary: people were amazed and surprised by our appearance! The buffet was there, but not filled, except for jam in the original jar from Lidl, empty containers, a coffee machine that was not ready for use and a few cornflakes, it was completely empty!!! When we asked, we were told that the rest would be served to your table by ordering. And that's where the disaster began......... - cold cuts plate was only equipped with 5 slices of salami, scrambled eggs were totally over salted, 3 minutes egg was still raw, you constantly had to ask for what was ordered (butter, coffee, bread, juice , etc. ) as it was previously forgotten. We had to wait 35 minutes at the summit (mind you, we had already been sitting at the table for an hour!!!). After asking again, they said that there was nothing left because breakfast was over in the meantime, and that butter had still been forgotten to serve after asking 3 times. During the entire time, the breakfast table next door had NOT been cleared away, but the service was still helping themselves with cutlery to set the tables NEW!! A kitchen employee with a sleepy expression came out of the kitchen every 10 minutes to help himself to coffee, perhaps it would make more sense for the person in service to help out!!! And and and... if I were to list everything here, it would be the never-ending story. Basically we felt sorry for the completely overwhelmed service staff. PEOPLE it's better to skip breakfast in the future, because such experiences do more harm than good. Because after such an experience we won't be returning to Fuego again, neither for breakfast nor for anything else.

It was a disaster! Tartar: without asking, the tartar was served with an egg yolk, without onions and capers and toast. The toast bread only came when ordered and was only in the toaster for a short time. 180g of meat for 45.50 and I left a third. Burgers are dry and consist primarily of two components: bread and country fries. The service leaves a lot to be desired, unfriendly and incompetent! The wine was first served; when everyone was already eating. Tipping is a given for us. But that evening we had to refrain from doing so. When I asked about the ingredients for allergy sufferers, they said snidely that they couldn't ask in the kitchen now, they were under stress (the restaurant was at most 30% full) and that I should just skip the sauce. Besides, they couldn't change anything anyway because everything was delivered ready-made. Convenience food from the bag directly to the plate; You can shop there directly at Cash and Carry. Under this management we will definitely never go to this restaurant again and we will advise against eating there. It used to be really nice here and now it's just awful.

Top food, super friendly service.

Well I have to say this is one of the best stakes and tartar I have ever eaten. Service is really brilliant and the cuisine is sensational. We always come there three times a week. We are always warmly welcomed and love the atmosphere. I can only recommend this restaurant and love coming here. I don't understand some of the comments because of tartar, he's obviously not used to fine dining. TARTAR ALWAYS COMES WITH EGG. If you don't want it, please let me know. And if you haven't noticed YOU ARE IN SWITZERLAND these are the normal prices I wouldn't listen to bad comments because they are unfair. I can only recommend this restaurant ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Used to be a great place - amazing food, friendly and professional service, nice atmosphere. Since january they changed to buffet concept for lunch - the food quality went steeply down (food lies there for few hours, often only lukewarm), service is quite rude and the price for lunch menu went up!

There were 4 of us for dinner. Starter, main course and dessert. The food is OK, good quality meat, dessert very simple. The service was OK to below average, at this price point the water is simply left on the table, communication is sometimes difficult due to language. Overall, the price/performance ratio isn't right... The food is neither outstanding nor is the service surprising. At prices like those in the city of Zurich, the end result is just about OK. I wouldn't visit the restaurant again.

Really bad from A - Z. It started with the answering machine only being used to make reservations. When we arrive at the restaurant we are simply left standing because no one has time. At the table when we asked about wine, the waiter didn't think it was necessary to bring us a wine list, but instead told us something about Tuscan wine, the name of which he didn't know, but which was said to be very good. The food: Person 1, wrong cooking level, baked potatoes instead of fries. Person 2, instead of fries, some homemade potato sticks with the peel still on. Person 3, vegetable risotto that is slightly sour. Person 4, Ratatuille was simply missing. Every time a different waiter came. All in all, a catastrophic price-performance ratio and an evening to forget. Never again.

Bad service. Far too expensive for a hamburger that is only lukewarm. Basically a no-go.

There were 2 of us. Unfortunately the meat wasn't medium rare, actually IT WAS STILL RAW! The tagliatelle with the meat were also tasteless and the meat didn't smell good. For starters we had Bufallo with tomatoes, best of all, then we got arugula, so we definitely complained, but then we got the right thing. I wouldn't recommend it because we didn't like it.

Had a great evening at Fuego 2.0 with good colleagues. Personally, I recommend the 3-course surprise menu. Not too much and not too little either. Goodbye!

A few weeks ago we made reservations for dinner for 10 people last week. So it wasn't spontaneous or anything like that. When we arrived we were taken to a meeting room!!!!! The meeting room was as brightly lit as an operating room... there were flipcharts, a refrigerator and everything else needed... in a meeting room! The dining table for 10 people was set in white and there was a cemetery flower on the table. We were told that there was a closed group at the front of the restaurant. We were placed in this bright room with no ambience without informing or asking. At some point the female waiter came... brought the menu and then asked if we would like an aperitif... My card is really stained.. at this price range I expect something different.. At some point we were finally allowed to order our food from you... The starters came relatively quickly... One salad landed on a colleague's legs while being served. One of us ordered a tomato mozzarella... Vinegar and oil were only brought after we asked. It took a while for the main courses to arrive. This was served by 3 people. One of them didn't even feel the need to greet us or even smile to have the face... The meat was of good quality and cooked just the way I like it.. I don't think the gram information on the menu card corresponded to what was on the plate. We had to refill the wine ourselves... it was standing on a piece of furniture at the entrance... we probably didn't spend enough money per bottle (60.-) When I pointed this out to the waiter, there was no response. Well, the evening dragged on and after we were allowed to order dessert and coffee and it came relatively quickly, we wanted to pay.. this turned out to be more difficult than we had hoped.. The service staff is really terrible... It's not just that there are language barriers... there are simply people who should NEVER work in a service segment... tragic.. why don't you take notice of the criticism??

Open late. Good food, variety of options on the menu - not just steak. A bit on the pricey side.

Had a meal with 4 people for over 550CHF. The offer was varied, but everything went wrong at the beginning because the staff couldn't speak any good or only fluent German. Order was only taken after more than 25 minutes, drinks were forgotten, menu requests were misunderstood by the 5-course person because of the language barrier, beef fillet was already fried well past the point and there was no variation in the side dish item on the menu. We spent a lot of money and unfortunately we didn't get up very satisfied.

Eaten very well. Had the 3-course surprise menu. 1x gluten-free, fresh gluten-free spaghetti was even cooked for me. We were thrilled with the “Italian steakhouse”. Service and cuisine 5 stars.

The price-performance ratio in this restaurant is completely imbalanced. The service is underground and doesn't know your own card. The fact that they only speak broken German only makes the situation worse. The selection of side dishes is rather poor with vegetables, fries and open potatoes. Shot the Bird has the answer to the question of what the difference is between the tomahawk and the Scottona tomahawk (excellent meat from a cow that has never calved) on the menu. We were told that Scottona was simply a young animal... Everything was just too careless and unprofessional for the price. Sorry, it was my first and last visit even though I was invited.

Food very expensive and very little. Meat dry. Mixed salad had three corn kernels otherwise it was a green salad.

Since we really enjoyed our last visit about a year ago, we thought we would dine in this restaurant again. Unfortunately, the well-dressed service staff understands little German and is neither motivated nor attentive. I was brought the wrong food and there was no apology. My colleague's spaghetti was i. Oh but nothing special. We sat outside on uncomfortable wooden chairs. We would have liked to have had a seat cushion, but unfortunately it doesn't exist. We would have been happy with a "Schoggälädli" with our coffee, but that isn't available either. I think that was our last visit.

We spent a very nice evening at Fuego 2.0 in Schindellegi. Ambiance: Modern and stylishly furnished. The tables are laid out in a straight line without any unnecessary frills, which fits wonderfully into the room. Very high quality crockery, glasses and cutlery. The cloth napkins were starched a little too tightly for my taste and the music was a tad too loud. Service: Very friendly and attentive waiters. Eat: Overall very tasty and large portions. Starter: 1. Nut salad very fine, not a grain of sand or earth, crispy, tasty bacon, wonderful salad dressing (definitely homemade), the eggs a little less cold (probably straight from the fridge) and it would have been perfect. 2. Burrata with raw ham, a perfect combination and a treat for the palate. Both “main actors” of the best quality. Here too, unfortunately a touch too cold, otherwise perfect. Main course: 1. Beef entrecôte: The meat of the best quality, tender as butter and fried to perfection. Seasoned only with coarse salt, just as it should be. Top vegetable side dish, with a bite and a really strong taste. The sauce (hollandaise?) was ok. 2. Baby Back Ribs: The meat fell off the bone, the barbecue sauce was definitely homemade and my companion liked it very much (and they are very finicky with barbecue sauce), the fries were also not a convenience product and were very well fried, crispy on the outside and nice on the inside "creamy". Dessert: 1. Lemon sorbet: There wasn't room in my stomach for much dessert, but a sorbet always works. This was very creamy and delicate in taste. 2. Ice cream parlor: Unfortunately there were a few small ice crystals in the ice cream, otherwise there was nothing to complain about. Price/performance: Quality has its price and this is certainly justified in the Fuego 2.0.

Indescribably delicious. Not priced for every day for my budget, but perfect for special occasions. Staff super nice and creative with drinks. Super nice location.

The restaurant is nice. The food was the worst I've ever eaten in a restaurant. The meat, which was supposed to be medium fried, was completely raw and the fries smelled of old frying oil. The staff was very inattentive and completely overwhelmed. The prices are overpriced.

The food was good, but the vegetables were lukewarm!! The service also leaves a lot to be desired. There was dry bread, no candles were lit and the dessert selection wasn't really extensive. The bill was also wrong.... Unfortunately very disappointing at these prices😬

Was just perfect! The meat was buttery tender and had a great taste. The final drink was made with love and tasted great! The service was always friendly and pleasant!

After a long break, I wanted to give the Fuego 2.0 another chance. Unfortunately, the food didn't convince me again; the meat was lukewarm to cold, which shouldn't be the case given the price. The service was also just average. It's a shame because the place is very nice and cozy.

The food was basically ok, although the aperitif was a red one and not a white one as served. We ate twice, ordered risotto as a side dish and got fries for both. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time we've experienced such poor service! That's right for me 🤬

We booked the hotel with the attached restaurant Fuego 2.0 for our wedding anniversary. The food was very tasty and prepared with love. The service and the manager of the restaurant are very accommodating and try to give every guest a lasting impression. We'd love to come back.

Wir sind schon viele Jahre Mieter Im Fuego-Gebäude. Die Qualität des Fuego (in jeder Hinsicht) hat über die Jahre immer wieder stark geschwankt. Bereits der letzte Besuch vor einigen Monaten war eine Enttäuschung ... Gestern über den Mittag haben wir wieder einmal einen Anlauf genommen. Wir warteten deutlich über eine halbe Stunde auf unsere Burger ... und wussten nachher auch warum. Diese waren wortwörtlich 'totgebraten' ... und kaum geniessbar. Wenigstens hat uns der Malbec sehr gut gemundet. Nett war, dass wir den Burger für CHF 29 (ja, Qualität hat seinen Preis) zwar bezahlen mussten, der Kaffee war dann aber offeriert ... Schade, auch das wäre eine Chance gewesen! **NACHTRAG:** Diese Rezension ist mehr als 1 Jahr alt. In der Zwischenzeit sind neue Betreiber aktiv - und wir haben nun gute Erfahrungen gemacht. EMPFEHLUNG (wenn ich denn darf): Jeder hat eine neue Chance verdient!

As I hear the reviews of the burger .. the owner or the cook changed .. 3 years ago, for example, the burger and fries was the sensation .. gourmet burger and fries .. not 0815 burger and fries .. I am very disappointed with these reviews .. Does anyone know where the previous cook is now?

Disappointed.This piece of hard meat was brought in as a 59.00 CHF entrecote, with cold runny sauce bernaise. And was sent back to the kitchen.Now we are waiting to see what comes out next.P.S. wifes risotto was very average
