Ordered via UberEats! Food was great! Had tori katsu curry don, karawge chicken and philadelphia roll! Everything was super tasty and fresh! We will order again!

I've eaten here on my birthday for almost 20 years and have always enjoyed it. But everything comes to an end at some point. Since the management change, the service quality has noticeably deteriorated. The last time it was too much. For example, when refilling the drinks, the drinks were refilled several times so that the bottle was empty after 4 people and you had to order another one so that all 6 people had something to drink. I have a number of allergies, including chocolate, and have told the service staff about this several times. The dessert offered for the birthday child consisted of chocolate cake with a sparkler (!). When I pointed out the mishap, they took dessert back and after 5 minutes handed me a bowl with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. Without any form of apology. Instead of spending a nice evening with my family, I spent almost 800 francs on a disappointment. The old management even made a note of my allergies and when I pointed them out to them, they replied: "yes, we already know that".

Masden clearance! A great evening was ruined at the end. If you spend 180 per person, you don't want to be relegated to the winter garden (which feels like a dump) after the main course. That's not possible and ruined a great evening with great food and an entertaining show...

Reserved at short notice. Welcome very friendly. The order was taken quickly and the menu was served course by course. The chef put on a nice show. Food very tasty and fresh. After eating we were immediately forced to vacate the place. Either have another drink at the bar or leave the restaurant. Therefore 1 star deducted for service and ambience. Still a nice, very good meal.

I actually had fond memories of my last visit to the restaurant. We had the food delivered for tonight, but some of it arrived cold. What was even worse was that we had a hair in our food. What was particularly frustrating was the price. For 140 CHF you certainly expect more than just an appetizer. The price-performance ratio did not meet our expectations.

When I tried sukiyaki at the restaurant, it was ok quality (although it was not great or authentic Japanese sukiyaki) so I tried Uber, which turned out to be a very sad dinner… I ordered Ramen Tori Paitan and Karaage via Uber. Everything was mediocre and obviously the chef does not know what Japanese ramen noodle is….noodle was soft, egg was just boiled without any seasoning, just some slices of chicken, which is not Tori Paitan….Karaage in the photo looked crunchy but what I got was a soft fried chicken which does not look like the photo at all. I would give one star for the delivery food and three stars for Sukiyaki. ——————- I ordered sushi from this restaurant by mistake. Fish was ok but the rice was so dry and not nice at all…

However, the concept of the restaurant is outdated after more than 40 years because the space per guest is quite limited and it is very warm overall. In addition, the frying smells remain in the clothes. It's not a place to stay. The prices are too high for what is offered.

What a great experience! The food was excellent (my steak was melting in the mouth) and all other dishes were also very tasty. We enjoyed every moment here. Food was very tasty. We ordered shrimp, lobster and beef. The fried rice and vegetables were very tasty. Shrimp, lobster and beef too. We had to wait 40 minutes for the dessert menu while the other guests at the same “table” happily ate the dessert. We then went home without dessert.

Japanese experience gastronomy. Preparation on the Teppanyaki (iron plate grill) is always an experience. There are different menus to choose from. However, the live cooking is mainly limited to the essentials - we didn't have any major shows like in other Teppanyaki restaurants here, but they weren't a must for us. The atmosphere was pleasant, the food was good and we were full at the end - what more could you want? For a visit you should reserve well in advance and bring enough time.

I love tepanyaki. The food is very fine and expensive, but it's worth it. We've been going 1-2 times a year for years. The menus do not change. It would be exciting to try something new. And it's just very narrow and densely packed. The chefs are true artists, it's a shame that there are practically no shows.

Went here for lunch today. Great service and the food was also very good and an experience. I had to extend my lunch break a bit but it was worth it. Had the menu with sushi as a starter and beef fillet with garlic rice and vegetables all for 72 Stutz. Was worth the money. Gladly again.

My wife and I go to Fujiya again and again. Of course it's not cheap, but quality has its price. And that is at the highest level. For me the price doesn't matter. The sushi: wonderful. The lobster: a dream. The meat: The enjoyment is one of my top 5 favorites. There was a recent review about a tough Wagyu beef. This is annoying and a shame as it is generally one of the most expensive meat dishes. I give the following tip: Before it is prepared, the chef asks what cooking level it should be (rare, medium, etc.). If the dish is not at the desired cooking point, you can certainly complain and the staff will take care of it. That's how I always did it in restaurants, because the guest is king. I haven't had to at Fujiya yet, but they certainly would. It's a shame that people just stay silent and then publish it online. That's not fair to the restaurant either, no matter what mistake they made. To the Fujiya team: We will be back soon and we are really looking forward to it!

I was surprised at how attentive service staff can be :-) Some restaurants could learn something from this. We felt lovingly cared for at all times. The food was originally prepared and a taste experience. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

Very good, very expensive, but the quality is very good. Just little bit disappointed because our chef doesn't make any "show" in our teppanyaki table, another chef was very funny and make some tricks with the guest. Just this point.

Great experience watching the food being prepared

I like the place. My first visit was for dinner and I liked the warm dishes. My second visit was for sushi dinner. There was some sauce on the sushi I never had in an other sushi restaurant and I actually didn't like (sweet chili and sesame). I didn't pay attention if this was written on the menu. I will visit the place again to check back.

I love Japanese food, so I wanted to give this restaurant a try several times before posting a bad review. The restaurant seems to offer delivery - without ensuring that the quality is right. The gyozas felt like they came straight from the freezer into the microwave. All the vegetables in the curry were raw, including the potatoes (isn't that poisonous?). The bowls are probably the most emotional thing on the menu, but even there the noodles stick together. Attention: if there are eggs in the dish, there are most likely eggshells hidden somewhere. Edit: UberEats shows the address of this restaurant and also uses the rating of this restaurant, so I posted this review here. If you really have nothing to do with the delivery service, I recommend you take legal action. If your address and name are no longer on the invoice, I will delete this review and apologize to you.

An experience you have to live... The Chef prepares the delicious dishes in front of you at your table.

First of all, you have to be aware that a teppanyaki restaurant is not suitable for a cozy dinner for two. It's quite narrow, loud and everything seems a bit stressful. So we are seated with two strangers at a table for 6 with teppanyaki. Ordered quickly, an amuse bouche arrives and soon the starter too. Then the chef comes into action. At first you don't know what he's preparing for whom. But he knows how to coordinate the 3 pairs of guests. Finally, the food is good, but sometimes a bit too salty. Three larger groups of guests chat quite loudly because of the cooking action, and we are always relieved when they get something to eat. The cooking surface is cleaned and the bill arrives quickly so that everything is ready for the second shift. All in all: service good, food good, location ok, prices at the upper limit, so the price-performance ratio is just sufficient.

It's been a long time since we've had a festive Christmas dinner. The menu is worth every franc… sensational quality of fish and meat. The orderly preparation of the warm dishes on the plate set in front of the guests is a delight for the eyes and the palate... The staff was very attentive and friendly. Only the noise level caused by the guests was sometimes unpleasantly loud.

If you want a warm and welcoming japanese experience - this is the place to be. The teppanyaki was great and we enjoyed every moment of entertainment and had fun exchanging some words with the cook. The food was served almost perfectly timed for each round. Overall a very nice experience. 100% recommended. A5 wagyu was perfectly done aswell. Pricey but worth it imo.

I came here for a dinner in Fujiya Teppanyaki last night, the restaurant was very lively and full of guests as usual, everyone seemed to be enjoying the food. Actually I am a regular customer here, because this restaurant has all the food I like to eat e.g: the best tempura, great sushi, delicious ramen, special sukiyaki and famous teppanyaki and so on... The staff, waiters and chefs here are very polite, friendly and professional. I highly recommend.

We were in the teppanyaki part of the restaurant, where we enjoyed the food very much. They have various menus but theoretically you could also do a la carte. The wine list was nice and had some quite some options by the glas as well. The quality of waiters had quite a big span, all of them were friendly though. We were a bit shocked how crowded the place was inside, just after lifting some restrictions.. people sat way too close and we didn't really feel at ease. Seemed a bit irresponsible to me. We might go there again, but maybe rather on a quiet night.

Incredible restaurant with a very pleasant terrace which is perfect for family meals or between colleagues. Extremely fresh products and divine dishes. I particularly recommend their fondue and their tiramisu! The staff are also lovely and very helpful. It’s a shame that this same restaurant doesn’t exist in Geneva because I would go back there regularly!

I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend for a date night, and I choose this one because I love real Japanese food and the place was highly recommended. The expectations were totally met. We both took a menù, and I took one with the option of Wagyu beef. The food was delicious and I was amazed by the ability of the cook performing his job in front of us. The service was also very good, as the waitress was always making sure that we were comfortable and that everything was ok.As the title goes, it was a great experience, with great food, and I look forward to go back.
