We ate very well and the service was also very friendly. We'd love to come back.

Where was the waitress??? The restaurant was well attended. We asked for a table for two. We were harshly told by the person at the counter that there were a lot of people, that it was very strict - there was space here and there, without showing us a place, let alone looking at us. We looked for a free seat and sat down. After 7 minutes we got the card... After that we didn't see anyone from the restaurant. After 20 minutes of waiting in vain and looking for service, we left again.

Had dinner there today. The restaurant was at most 3/4 full and the service was still very poor. After ordering, it took 1 1/2 hours for the food to be served. The portion of rice that was served was also very small. But the taste was very good. The bill only came after repeated requests.

The service was bad but at least friendly. We had to wait an hour for our food, even though the restaurant was probably not full with 18 people.

I'm not satisfied because the duck for CHF 28 is not authentic roast duck at all. It's exactly like the frozen pre-cooked dish in lidl, and half of it is dry. It's worth 14 Swiss francs at most, and the price of 28 is unacceptable. The boiled beef is tender, no problem. Note: I later looked through the menu and discovered that I was served crispy duck. These are two completely different production techniques. The merchant just ignored the mistake and charged a higher price. Bad review

We ate there last Saturday and waited almost 2 hours (!) for our food. We were repeatedly put off while all around us the guests were getting their food. The Cantonese duck was way too dry...probably forgotten in the oven. With a turnover of 200.00 a mineral is definitely not enough. It's a shame...we probably won't come back.

A very authentic and delicious Chinese food. I dare say that many restaurants in China cannot compare with this one. The owner of this 25-year-old store is from Hong Kong and has been here for 38 years. The wife of the owner is from Chaoshan, beautiful, elegant and easy-going. The couple is super nice, both of them are in very good condition, very young and energetic.

The location is very good, three minutes walk from the train station. The taste is very authentic. The main dishes are boiled beef and mushroom chicken soup. The boss and his wife are a couple from Hong Kong and Guangdong. They are very nice people. They gave me a lot of travel suggestions and helped me store my luggage. I will come again next time. Five-star recommendation.

The food is good. It's a shame there's nothing with peanut sauce but otherwise very good.

Fung Ze Yuan is one of the first and therefore oldest Chinese restaurants that SH has to offer. It is cooked to a high quality and fresh. My absolute favorite and tip over the years is the Kong-po. The best thing ever can, as always, be ordered with pork/chicken/tofu or, my favorite, beef with spicy. Staff very friendly and happy to advise on the choice of dishes. Price-performance ratio is also great... So I hope for more successful years and thank you very much ❤️

Tried out the local Chinese eatery instead. The roast duck quality is very nice. Tender on the meat and crispy on the skin. The broccoli has a nice 'wok hei' fragrance to it. The chef is from HK. So not surprise. A pleasant and delicious dinner for sure.

The calculation of the price should always be checked, otherwise you might end up paying too much. But the location urgently needs to be renovated.

I was there recently and I actually liked the food, but I think the prices for the desserts are high. In addition, the cashier miscalculated our price, which we still have to pay. It was only after a while that the cashier noticed. It feels a bit like you're trying to rip me off.

Never expect to find a good Asian food in small city like Schaffhausen but to my surprise Fung Ze Yuan bring back my life in this city. The chef was super friendly, you should ask him for special dishes if you are able to take the real taste of Asia. Prices are reasonable for the food you will get here. From my 28 days in this city at least 10 of my dinner were taken care by this chef.

Honestly, I don't know how you can give this more stars. It's so pleasant inside, too. I've actually found nicer places like this. The service barely understands German. She wrote down the order but still brings the wrong side dish. And I would also be disappointed by the wine. I ordered Epoes and got Fechy and they claim it's the same wine. Food was good. But beef fillet for 26.- wasn't even ever again.

My parents and I have been regular customers here for over 20 years. The restaurant may not be one of the most popular restaurants in the city, but it is definitely worth a visit. The food is always delicious and the service is extremely friendly. The price/performance ratio is also completely fine. My father always orders the crispy duck and is absolutely thrilled every time. The Szechuan beef always tastes great too. The portions are always very generous, especially in the evenings, and are served with a grill to keep the food nice and warm. By the way, you can also easily reach the restaurant with a wheelchair, there is only a tiny step to overcome at the entrance. For me, as a native of Schaffhausen, a highly recommended restaurant!

Honestly, I don't know how you can give this place more stars... from the outside it somehow reminds you of a snack bar and inside I've actually found nicer places of this type. The service barely understands German. We were allowed to calculate the bill ourselves because she simply understood that we wanted to pay separately. The food was ok, I've eaten better there too. A little bit of rice, so the little woman wasn't really full :D

All the tables were cleaned impeccably and the armchairs were extremely comfortable. The restaurant completely blew us away. Good price-performance ratio. I can really recommend the restaurant! In the restaurant you get both: friendly and fast waiters.
