The Christmas dinner at the Schupfen Inn was very excellent. The boat trip with aperitif was very comfortable. With dinner in the inn afterwards, it was a perfectly successful evening! The service and the food were excellent. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

Yesterday I had dinner with my wife at the Schupfen Inn. Even though we were way too early, we were greeted very courteously and served straight away. The food was exceptionally good. The staff very friendly and attentive. We would like to come again.

I was visiting the Gasthaus Schupfen with my fiancée to look at the location for a possible wedding. The local people were very friendly and gave us the key so we could see everything in peace. After the tour, we spoke to someone from the staff and discussed how to proceed. We then picked a date on the spot and asked when we definitely had to commit. We were told that there was no rush and that we could take our time. When we came home from the holidays, we received an email saying that our appointment had been made. When I spoke to Philipp on the phone, he said that he had sent us an email during our vacation asking for the details for the contract. Since we only looked at the emails after the holidays, we were unable to respond to this email. Well, the date was gone, which was very annoying because we were really looking forward to it. But that is not enough. We were then offered two other appointments over the phone and assured that they would block this data for us for a few days and send us an email with the data straight away. We didn't hear anything for three days and so I wrote an email myself and said that we would like to book one of the two dates. I didn't receive an answer to my email for two days, so I tried calling Philipp two days in a row and I was never able to reach Philipp and I was always assured that he would call me back straight away, which also never happened. Yesterday I received an email saying that our appointment had been given to someone else, even though I was assured on the phone that they were keeping this appointment free for us. What particularly puzzled me was that the email said that they had another request in progress for that day and that they had now accepted this person. To be honest, I'm wondering how you can assure someone of an appointment with a clear conscience even though there are still other requests for that day? Because no matter how you twist and turn it, you have to say clearly that we were lied to by the staff. This has nothing to do with serious dealings with interested parties.

Sunday, without a table reservation, we still found a nice corner for us. Very good game, excellent local Pinot. Very attentive and courteous service!

The minestrone is a clear recommendation if you ever come here. Plus great service and nice staff 👍 👍 👍

What a dreamy place! It's difficult to tear yourself away because everything is right here: delicious food of great quality, also interesting vegetarian dishes, great service, the location right on the Rhine, tasteful decoration... It was our first time there - but definitely not the last time.

An exceptional guesthouse in every respect. Location, service, food, ambience, everything was excellent. The service staff that served us was very young, but absolutely top! We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and were completely thrilled. Located directly on the Rhine, with plenty of parking on both sides of the street, a barn for events and a beautiful park. What more could you want?

We were able to celebrate an incredible wedding at Schupfen. Everything was great from start to finish. The staff was extremely friendly and asked when what could be served. Also plan for small delays if there was still a game going on. In terms of ambience, it is fantastic being so close to the water. And everything you need is there. 300% recommended.

On the occasion of a wedding we were able to indulge in culinary delights at the Gasthaus Schupfen. An absolutely delicious and extensive aperitif rich in the beautiful garden - right on the Rhine was a highlight. Afterwards we were able to enjoy the menu in the well-kept garden house. The only flaw was the steak, which was a bit too dry and very well done. Nevertheless, a wonderful restaurant in a beautiful spot right on the Rhine!

Villa Schupfen is a good place for a few things, lunch, dinner, snacks, seminar roons, events and what-can, service is excellence pur sang and the place gives a romantic vibe yet still for the whole family. You can arrive via canoe, or by foot or by car or by bike in anyways no disappointed client .

A fantastic place to get married. The gala dinner was a gourmet feast. Very attentive staff. Kind and courteous. We had an unforgettably beautiful celebration. A big compliment from the entire staff.

Top location, friendly staff. Service could be better. We were there today, 4 people. We were only brought one dessert menu and only when we asked if there was only this one menu were we brought three more. We also had to ask whether it would be possible to get a coupe and only then were ice cream tickets brought to us. This time 4! With the white covered tables and these prices, I would have expected more from the service. Hence only the 3 stars. The rating only concerns the service in the restaurant!

Excellent in all respects. We were warmly welcomed and served courteously but absolutely unobtrusively. The three courses were excellent and everything was of very good quality. Only the espresso at the end was a bit bitter - I've had better - but that's complaining at a very high level. We would love to come back soon.

We saw the Schupfen as we were driving through while planning our club trip in June. We are around 30 people. I wrote an email on Saturday and waited 4 days for the answer. The boss of the house then offered us 1 (menu) for 54.- even though I wrote that our budget was a maximum of 40.- (without drinks). The fact that we like to eat outside was also ignored. I wrote again on Wednesday, unfortunately I'm still waiting for an answer (Sunday)... I think the boss is not interested and is letting at least 1000.- slip through the cracks because he stubbornly sticks to his concept. If you don't need it... I come from the catering industry (35 years with training) and know that it doesn't meet the standard at the level that Schupfen wants to be. Such a shame.

Very nice restaurant, friendly staff, large portions and good food... a no-go for me, however, is that the host comes to the restaurant with a representative and neither greets nor says goodbye to the remaining guests... a shame... that doesn't fit in with the rest of the staff, which was very friendly

Gasthaus Schupfen is one of my favorite wedding locations in Switzerland. I can highly recommend this location to couples who want to have a free wedding ceremony by the water. Thanks to shady trees, outdoor wedding ceremonies can be enjoyed even in hot weather. Here are a few photos <3

The ambience is nice, tables are well placed and at a sensible distance. Service is very attentive and friendly. The food is of very good and consistent quality. Price-performance ratio is right here!

The beautiful, historic Schupfen inn is located just outside Diessenhofen directly on the Rhine. There is plenty of parking space, right next to the house and on the opposite side of the street (with an underpass). Great atmosphere in all rooms and great views of and over the Rhine. The plates were beautifully presented and the food tasted excellent. The service was very friendly and attentive. Luckily, there are also a number of small-format desserts here. Otherwise we would have had to do without. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back. Thanks to all!

Was a guest at a wedding. The restaurant has a garden area directly on the river, which is ideal for wedding photos. I can't say much about the quality of the food since I was only there for the aperitif. But it was completely ok and visually very nicely presented. I recommend making your own opinion because the ambience would certainly make it worth it.

I was a guest at the Schupfen as part of a conference. The barn right on the Rhine is beautiful with a wonderful view of the water. The service was very good.

Excellent food in a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the parking spaces are very limited and we had to park almost directly on the river on the meadow. Luckily it wasn't raining and the drive home was possible without any problems! The service in particular was perfect. We felt very comfortable in the restaurant the whole evening and were able to really enjoy the food and ambience. Big compliments to the staff, you can't really do it better. Clear recommendation!

We wanted to celebrate our wedding here, so we stopped by and were shown the Rhyschüür. Because I went to the toilet first, I missed the greeting. I wasn't greeted afterwards either, and the organizer didn't introduce himself to me (the bride). Lack of attention? :) "If you have any questions, you can always write to us..." it said. Unfortunately, we did not receive any response to our 3 emails after the meeting. Finally we canceled. I assume things are going so well here that customer service is starting to suffer. But we still enjoyed the food that evening :)

Visit the unique inn, also for festivals directly on the Rhine, it's worth it!
