My personal impression as a suggestion for improvement: The outside terrace is very dull, listless and furnished without style, which corresponds to the restaurant interior, in the front and back. Strongly influenced by traffic noise right on the main street until around 9:30 p.m., so not a comfortable atmosphere overall. We only saw one person in service for the entire area. The pork cordon bleu was good, but the portion was far too small for the price. I would describe it as a children's plate. Fries are always frozen, homemade ones would be great, but you rarely find them in other places Green salad served with Maggi in the sauce, a no go for me, OK to season yourself, as long as there was a menagé on the table. Customer service by the service was very poor, long waiting times, so overall nothing special. The standard inn is still a long way off, but with passion and a few simple ideas you could raise the level. Unfortunately there is no reason for me to come back here. So, enough criticism, now it's time to roll up your sleeves and be different from the others. Good luck.

Tolles Hotel/Restaurant an allerbester Lage in Egerkingen SO. Die Einrichtung ist einladend, gemütlich und modern zu gleich. Trotz Corona Massnahmen kann die hervorragende Küche uneingeschränkt genossen werden. Ich bestellte saisongerecht Wild, welches grosszügig portioniert serviert wurde. Ein Genuss allerhöchster Güte, perfekt abgeschmeckt und einladend auf dem Teller angerichtet. Als Dessert genehmigte ich mir einen Mini Coupe Dänemark, welcher ebenfalls fantastisch war. Das äußerst freundliche und aufmerksame Personal liest einem quasi alle Wünsche ab. Auch die Preise sind unglaublich fair. Ich werde das Gasthaus in jedem Fall wieder besuchen und erteile hiermit feierlich 5 Sterne für ein rundum perfektes Ergebnis.
