We were in this restaurant a few days ago because we had only heard good things about the Cordon Bleus. When we arrived and ordered, the drinks were brought to us very quickly, even though it was full inside. Given the large selection of Cordon Bleus, it was difficult to choose, but the kitchen responds to every single special request. The Cordon Bleus were really delicious and generously filled. The side dishes chosen were fresh and homemade. I can only recommend it and we would love to come back.

Lunch menu with veal cordon bleu, fries and vegetables, very tasty and beautifully presented. The service ladies were really attentive and we left satisfied. Thank you very much, it's definitely not the last time we've been here.

Everything about and in the Ziegelhütte is absolutely top. The building has been gently renovated and also features a mix of natural stone, wood and glass inside. The food is home-style and excellent with a reasonable price/performance ratio. The service is professional and unobtrusive. Next to the restaurant there is a stable with Angus cattle. There is also a large beer garden and a playground. Everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained, including the toilets. Large parking lot available.

I have eaten at Gasthof Ziegelhütte several times with friends or guests and everyone has always been more than satisfied. Food and service are excellent. The restaurant was very busy, but we didn't have to wait any longer to order or for the food. The service asked several times whether everything was OK. Remarkable, very friendly service. I'd love to come back.

The Ziegelhütte Schaffhausen shines with charm and wonderful food. From the ambience to the service to the food, everything was perfect for us. We were there for our anniversary because I had only heard positive things about the Ziegelhütte through word of mouth and I hadn't been there for ages. We weren't disappointed at all. Salad, soup, schnitzel and the homemade cordon bleu, everything was delicious, the portions were generous, which is why we unfortunately couldn't manage any more dessert. So price/performance is right. We would be happy to come back and wish the entire Ziegelhütte team nothing but the best. One of the top addresses in Schaffhausen, which doesn't try desperately to become a fine dining location without first mastering the basics.

The Ziegelhütte is well known for its Cordon Bleus, but I can't say anything about that, but what I can say is that the evening was great, great food, everything was noticeably fresh, the burger was excellent, you really get something for your money here, Even if some posh digs in Zurich and Schaffhausen City have probably forgotten that. The service was great, attentive staff, good atmosphere, only the ambience could be a little more homely (maybe a few more corners for couples) but this is subjective. Thank you very much for the lovely evening.

Sensational location for Cordon-Bleu. This dish is available here in many different and, above all, individual versions. Quality 110%. Hopefully it stays that way despite all the success. We were more than impressed by the staff, location and food. Yes, that's why it's worth going to Switzerland as a German. Delicious. Thank you for the good restoration.

I was there for dinner with my dealer colleagues. 12/11/23 7:00 p.m We were on a course in fire numbers. We walked from the village to the restaurant...unfortunately very dark ;-) From the outside you think so... But then you go into the restaurant... Wow Wow Wow mega heartily furnished and really well built... Congratulations, really well done... The serving daughter was very friendly, funny and always there when you needed something.. The food.. Brick Huts Salad Cheese spaetzle with Gordon Bleu And another vermicelle Mega fine, large portions, fair price, top quality... Thank you very much for hosting us and allowing us to have such a great evening. Unfortunately I can't give 6...7...10 stars because you deserve them. It's easy to give five stars here. We haven't found the fly in the ointment yet. We spent an unforgettable evening with friends with dinner and an overnight stay at your place. The food was simply great, the service was super friendly and attentive. The rooms are extremely beautiful and inviting. We didn't have to pay a cent for our dog, who was also there 😃, the price is just right everywhere. We think that only happens in the brickworks. We'll be back👏👏

The best cordon bleu restaurant I know ;) Also very inexpensive! The Bleus are very good because you can put them together yourself with various types of cheese. The original mountain cheese is one of the best I've had. But be careful, the portions are 250g and 200g, so you have to be hungry. The only thing I didn't like about the 250g is that it has a lot of cheese in it. But that's criticism at a high level ;) Great side dishes and the starter “Nüssli salad with egg and bacon” was also very, very good. The beer from Suser and Ziegelhütten Wiskey are very good! The team is very dedicated and delivers a very good service. You appear friendly and well-positioned! But be careful, make a reservation. We were there twice on Monday evening and both times there were around 80-100 guests and the place was full! A very large parking lot and a cool playground for children round off the visit!

Even with a full house, very fast lunch service. Despite the large number of guests in a short time, very friendly, attentive staff. Mineral water is also refilled, which is very, very rare. All around an experience in a class of its own.

Very nice location with modern, yet classic interior design. The service was very friendly and the food (lunchtime) was served quickly and fresh. We had the Cordon Bleu which was really first class. I also had fried croquettes with the cordon bleu, which I probably bought but were still delicious. My star deduction for the meal is because of the mayo, which we received in a bottle. I would welcome a homemade version because in my opinion it is quick to make and simply tastes much better. This ready-made version is simply a shame with this fine Cordon Bleu. For dessert we each had the nutcracker. Highly recommended, especially with the caramelized nuts. We paid 130.- for 2 people (salad or soup of the day, 2x 200g veal cordon bleu with special filling, 2 Cola Zero and 1 large water, 2 ice cream coupe) with a tip. Totally fair. Colleagues with 150g chicken cordon bleu and starter/dessert paid ~100.-. Best regards to the super chef Ehrat!! So overall 14/15 points :)!

Yesterday we had dinner with 4 people. Was very good. Service also very attentive. Unfortunately there was no more space in the restaurant, but in the Längenbergstübli, where you could at least have a conversation. Dogs are also welcome.

We celebrated our wedding reception in the Ziegelhütte hall on July 1st, 2023 (with 56 people). We had an unforgettable day thanks also to the Ziegelhütte team. The food was fantastic. The service team that was responsible for us was super nice and accommodating. A big plus for us was that there was no room rental fee, and you could also use the festival garden and the adjacent barn. When preparing for the wedding, we were able to contact the responsible employee at any time if we had any questions and always received a quick answer. We can recommend the Gasthof Ziegelhütte not only for eating out or celebrating parties, but also for the hotel rooms, which are very nice and large. There is a small kitchen that can be used by hotel guests. The breakfast is also very extensive and very good. We can highly recommend the Gasthof Ziegelhütte. And thank you again for the great service.

Nice beer garden on the outskirts of Schaffhausen For lunch there were various lunch menus with starters and salads to choose from. The cordon bleu was super tasty.

I visited my former work colleagues, didn't eat anything, just drank in the garden restaurant. The noise from the cars next door from the A4 to Bargen really bothered me. That was around 10:30 in the morning. Otherwise, the conversion of the old brick hut was very successful ☺

I was allowed to organize a family reunion in the Ziegelhütte. I received great advice and everything worked out perfectly. It is a very nice, special restaurant and our guests were all thrilled. Thank you

On our first visit we each had a summer salad (1x with tuna and 1x with egg) from the afternoon menu. Both salads were good and nicely presented. The second time we were there over lunch and both wanted menu 6, with beef strips and knöpfli. The soup was good, the menu salad had probably been ready for a while. Unfortunately, we were both unlucky with the meat, as around half of it was either pure fat and/or laced with tendons. When the staff asked what the food was like, we pointed to the plate with the leftovers and explained the problem. The service employee cleared the plates and went back into the restaurant (we were in the garden) without a word. Not a word of regret or comment?! When another service employee came to move in, we asked again. The answer was that they had reported it to the kitchen. But not a word of regret or explanation came from her either. Menu 6 cost CHF 30 each. We would have liked people to react differently. As we were leaving the garden we noticed that other guests had the same problem with Menu 6.

Be careful, don't get greedy with the cordon bleu. We misjudged 200 grams would have been completely sufficient, estimated 35 cm by 18 cm with raclette cheese with side dishes... we still had enough to eat the next day. Delicious!

Not far from the Rhine Falls, the surrounding environment is very comfortable and the dining space is spacious. The restaurant is renovated from an old house. It tastes like Swiss cuisine. It tastes a bit salty to me, but overall it's pretty good.

Went here with friends after a lovely day of hiking/geocaching to have something delicious to eat. We had fun and were able to satisfy our hunger here. Everyone was happy with the food except for a few little things. The service was friendly and accommodating. All in all a successful evening on the large terrace. I will certainly recommend this to others and this will certainly not be my last visit here. Thanks to the whole team Greeting

We were able to be pampered in the Ziegelhütte today and were very satisfied from A to Z. The staff was friendly and accommodating, our dog was also brought water straight away. The food was absolutely top and was served quickly even though there were many guests. Big compliment😊

The Ziegelhütte is a beautifully newly built inn. I've been there a few times and it's always well attended. On weekends it's usually full, so book early enough!!! There is also seating outside in front of the restaurant (depending on the season). A little further back there is a small playground and a cowshed at the top, be sure to take a look. :D After the entrance on the right there are stairs that lead down to the wine cellar, where the toilets are also located, everything is very clean and well maintained. Inside it is very cozy and modernly furnished with a fireplace. The ambience and service is really great. But the best thing is the food, everything tastes excellent. The Cordon Bleu in particular is simply world class. This is available in different versions made from chicken, pork or veal. The fillings are all very tasty, from the spicy monk to the mountain cheese with Black Angus or the fine wild mushroom cream mixture, simply delicious and truly a feast for the palate. The roasted croquettes are also highly recommended. I've never eaten better. :) It is also a nice place for a company event or to celebrate a birthday. Either way, it's worth a visit no matter what the occasion or if it's just a dinner for two, you'll be satisfied. I'll make a reservation again soon. :))

Good! Simply good. Cordon Bleu based on different types of meat (poultry, pork, veal) in different sizes (150g to 250g and more if desired) with different fillings (different types of cheese) and side dishes. Additionally, a small, fine daily menu. Reservation to. makes sense most days.
