Tip top every time! And you always get a place. The service is excellent, the food is fresh and of very good quality. We go there regularly.

We had dinner with the family last night. The food was of a very high standard! Mixed salad was super tasty and the main course was Zürigeschnetzeltes with homemade Rösti. Really super fine. Dessert was of course also very tasty no matter what you ordered. The service was courteous and attentive. Leaves nothing to be desired. We had a wonderful evening. Gladly again

The restaurant is divided into two areas. In the front area the dishes are simply laid out - hence the somewhat cool ambience and in the back area there are white tablecloths. We ate in the back. The food and service was excellent. The menu is well sorted. There is a large wine list available, which offers Swiss and European wines. Overall, a recommendable restaurant.

We were there for the gourmet festival. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly.

Very unfriendly and aggressive owner. Ordered a menu with beef instead of pork. When we ordered we were told the menu salad and soup were free. When we paid we were charged a good 40 extra for both! Online menu is wrong instead of 32.- when paying 37.-. Not recommended, you will be cheated out of your money here.

Definitely one of the best restaurants in the Schaffhausen area and a smoker lounge to fall in love with. You'll be happy to come back there.

Went to eat at the community center yesterday, I live almost next door and was there for the first time and definitely not the last time! A family business that is definitely worth visiting, super friendly service and the food is just as excellent! I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

Hervorragendes Essen und sehr gute regionale Weine. Sehr feines der Saison angepasstes Essen und dazu passende regionale Weine. Ein Gaumen- und Augenschmaus. Zuvorkommender und sehr freundlicher Service. Ein gelungener Abend, es hat einfach alles gepasst. Gerne wieder einmal.

Wir besuchten das Gemeindehaus anlässlich des Gourmet Festivals und haben eine Perle entdeckt. Die Kombination von kreativer Küche mit einem passenden lokalen Wein haben wir in dieser Art noch nie erlebt. Mag man doch über Schaffhauser Weine geteilterAnsicht sein, aber so serviert: Hammer. Aber auch die Küche: Kreativ und leicht mit einer würzigen Note fein abgestimmt. Was für ein kulinarisches Erlebnis auf dem Lande abgerundet mit einem feinen Kaffee zu Käse oder gerösteter Schokolade.

Hier ist der Gast noch König - und die Kinder gehören dazu. Sehr freundliche Wirtsleute, sehr kreative Karte mit alten Klassikern etwas verfeinert mit eigener Note.

Mittagessen mit 3 Menüs zur Auswahl, plus noch vegetarisch und 2 weiteren Vorschlägen. Auch kann aus der Karte ausgewählt werden. Gibt Suppe / Salat / Menu zum Preis von rund 26 - 33 Franken. Alles frisch. Geht schnell und im separaten Raum auch gute Ambiente. Bedienung durch Käthy immer toll.

Super Essen und coole Location. Nach dem Essen noch in der Smoker Lounge gechillt und Whisky, Rum und Gin probiert.

Ich habe lang nicht mehr so gut gegessen...... Seeeeehr freundliche Bedienung... Mit viel Herz dabei und das merkt man.... Nur zu empfehlen!!!!! Gerne bald wieder!!!!

Sehr Freundliches Personal und guetes Essen die Menus sind auch immer verschieden und Preiswert. Sie geben auf wunsch sogar nachschlag. Dad einzige was mich stört ist die Salatsauce manchmal ist sie gut manchmal nicht aber nur beim Menusalat

What an excellent evening. We had a wonderful dinner. I believe the menu is slightly different between white table cloth area and just normal front side tables. Food was divine and we had lovely local wines that were from the Schaffhausen-Klettgau region. It's Switzerland so expect to pay a premium price but it was well worth it.The Cigar Lounge is a must after dinner with a phenomenal selection of Brandys and Whiskies topped off with a nice cigar.

Freundliche, aufmerksame und professionelle Bewirtung. Für jeden Whisky oder Grappa Fan ist die ausserordendlich schöne Smokers Lounge sehr empfehlenswert. Located in the very centre of Beringen, Gemeindehaus offers traditional Swiss food at moderate prices. I had lunch in the restaurant part which boasts a cozy atmosphere. Service ought to be improved. I arrived at 11:45am and had to wait almost five minutes until the tenant lady appeared. She was then polite but rather cold - I did not feel welcome. Fortunately, she became more smiling towards the end of the meal. Furthermore she endlessly kept on setting out the tables - putting out plates, glasses, etc. When it is almost noon I expect any restaurant to be fully ready for its lunch business!The menu is short, Gemeindehaus prides itself on having homemade dishes. As starter I chose the white wine soup - revigorating and tasty. The main course was veal schnitzel served with spätzli: tasty and generous portion.Prices remained moderate: my two-course lunch including water and coffee amounted to CHF52. Were it not for the slight disappointment re service, I would have rated this restaurant with four stars.

Top Service zu fairen Preisen. Personal sehr aufgestellt und merkt sich sogar Vorlieben und Abneigzngen der Stammkunden (teils auch ohne Anmerkungen des Kunden). Sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit hochwertiger und erstklassiger Küche. Preis Leistung ist ausgezeichnet. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam. Das Restaurant hat eine sehr schöne Atmosphäre. Besonders toll und gemütlich ist die Cigarrenlounge mit einer sehr grossen Auswahl an Spirituosen. Auch den schönen Weinkeller sollte man nicht verpassen. Alles in allem Top und uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen

Gutbürgerliches Essen im Restaurant- herzige Bewirtung.

Der Service ist super freundlich und sehr kompetent. Die Atmosphäre einfach toll mit dem Kamin und den hübsch dekorierten Tischen.Das Essen ist der hammer. Ich habe noch nie ein so leckeres Chateaubriand gegessen. Die Beilagen waren ebenfalls perfekt im Geschmack. Die Speisen werden sehr schön zubereitet und es ist ein Genuss da zu essen.Die Weinauswahl ist gross und lässt keine Wünsche offen.Nach dem Essen kann man noch ein "Absacker" in der Lounge geniessen. Ebenfalls eine grosse Auswahl an Spirituosen. Einfach perfekt!
