I had the pleasure of dining at Gerbe d'Or, a culinary experience that I shared with a friend. As soon as we arrived, the warm welcome from the team laid the foundations for an exceptional meal. Guided with finesse by the owner, we let ourselves be carried away on a memorable taste journey. A fresh and generously garnished salad whet our appetite and awakened our taste buds, announcing a promising meal. Without waiting, the crispy zander arrived. This dish completely won me over. The wrapper was so thin and crispy, revealing the delicate taste of the fish, well accompanied by tartar sauce and impeccable fries. To finish gently, a caramelized pear and vanilla ice cream delighted me and provided a very pleasant sensation. I treasure the moments when people can still surprise me and this meal at La Gerbe is no exception because it exceeded my expectations. I was also able to appreciate the atmosphere of La Gerbe where different generations mingle, come together and share precious moments. To conclude, the restaurant continues its legacy brilliantly, inviting me and others to return and savor the artistry of its cuisine and hospitality. I wish the Gerbe d’Or to continue to shine and offer these moments of culinary happiness, witnesses to its deserved success.

Excellent establishment, very good cuisine but in terms of price quality I find it a little excessive to pay 50+ francs for a meat dish which, that said, is very good, but not competitive enough. The service was impeccable and extremely kind! The atmosphere is great but in my opinion the tables are too close together and we lose a little privacy, especially for tables of 2.

On the wine list, there is no wine by the glass, you have to ask the staff.
