It started when we made the reservation over the phone. My friend wasn't sure whether it would work because German was hardly spoken. The ambience is very nice, but the wall lighting is not very pleasing to the eye. The waitress hardly spoke a word of German, so we had to speak English and Italian. Hello, we are in Rothrist and not in a ski resort or Zurich! The soup of the day was advertised as broccoli soup, but when I tried it it finally turned out to be tomato/carrot soup, the waitress didn't know. The wine glasses were not clean, the white wine was full of drops of water and the red wine had a lip print. The entrecote was ordered medium-rare, but I had to immediately remove it from the hot plate when it was served because it was almost past my desired cooking point. I ordered fries as a side, but they weren't served with it, so I had to ask and then it was charged as a single portion. When we wanted to place an order, the waitress already brought us the bill because she didn't understand it. The coffee was on the house because we already had the bill on the table. Conclusion: Nice location, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right. A pity!

Nice environment, the staff is very courteous, the food is good. Unfortunately the prices are very high for us Italians, but I recommend going.

The atmosphere is really unique, beautiful and modern. The staff is also very nice and you really can't say that about every restaurant. Unfortunately we were a bit unlucky today because the food didn't quite meet our taste: the entrecôte was not medium rare, but well done, the pasta had a bit too much butter and the racks of lamb were unfortunately dry. But we will definitely come back and try a different menu. It's worth it just because of the nice atmosphere and the relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. See you soon :)

The furnishings are modern and very nice. You don't find service like this everywhere - extremely friendly and attentive - TOP! The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. There are certainly better pizzas where the dough is a bit crispy. Next time we will try different menus. But overall it's true and we'll definitely be happy to come back, just because of the ambience, the service and the friendliness.

Gizzi Restaurant is a must-visit spot in Rothrist. The interior is fascinating, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. The salmon pasta is a must-try, and the cocktails are fantastic. The new building has given Rothrist a reason to visit. Highly recommended!

We've been there a few times. The food is very tasty and high quality. The ambience reminds me of vacation and has a Mediterranean flair. The prices are absolutely fair. Finally you should order a cocktail, it tastes great.

Very nice restaurant and also very nice terrace! Furnishings very well chosen inside and out. The service staff very attentive and friendly. Cocktails are very good and are made with passion and skill. The chef and his team conjure up very good food on the table. The eye eats too! A place to eat or even just have a drink!

The restaurant looks great and modern. The service is very friendly. However, the food didn't convince us. Price-performance isn't quite right for us. There were rotten avocados on my salad and I found the salad dressing too strong, so the green salad became “mushy”. Unfortunately, my partner's lamb had died twice. Unfortunately I wasn't impressed with the drink either, a lot of ice, not enough flavor, served in a rather smaller glass with maybe 1dl of Pina Colada left in it.

beautiful, modern restaurant. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food, the salad was nicely prepared and had a good dressing, the main course risotto was ok, but no wow effect. What bothered me was the three huge televisions that were broadcasting. Conclusion: Take a look at the Resti for yourself, but hopefully without the TV set turned on.

I've been to this restaurant several times. I am really impressed with the design of the restaurant. The staff was very polite and professional. The food was tastier, nice presentation and delicacy. I recommend everyone to visit it.

We had a surprise party here for our mother's 50th birthday. The organization was reliably run by the employees and the result left nothing to be desired. The service, the food, the atmosphere everything was impeccable. Guests were also satisfied and impressed with the food and family-friendly atmosphere. A really nice restaurant that deserves more attention and guests. It probably needs some “advertising” as many locals don’t even know the restaurant.

The restaurant deserved more guests; we were almost alone. Dear Gizzi people, spread the word a little and draw attention to yourself, you deserve it. Very friendly staff, modern, upscale atmosphere, great prices, great food and good portions! My wife had the Gizzi Burger and I had the Honey Bacon for CHF 22 each including fries and starter salad. One soft drink each for CHF 4.50. In total CHF 53.- We'll definitely be back! Addendum 07/15/22: We've been there twice more now and love it! The atmosphere outside is reminiscent of a holiday by the sea 😁 We now definitely count ourselves as regular guests and come once a week 😄
