Gleis 11 in Illnau-Effretikon

Very welcoming, beautifully decorated cafe with friendly staff and very, very tasty cafe and chai latte - I'll be back! :)

A small but warm and homely café in the old train station building. I had a spinach quiche for lunch and a cappuccino and cake for dessert. The food and coffee are very tasty and the staff are friendly and personable. I can only recommend

Really a cozy and homey coffee. Definitely worth a detour! It has the atmosphere of a warm room. The very friendly and friendly service makes you almost feel like you're in the room of good friends. Since I couldn't pay with my card, the waitress wanted to offer me coffee. But I was lucky and was able to find enough change :) Takeaway coffee is also possible.

I have charming, funny and, above all, delicious memories of all my Gleis11 visits! Very friendly service and great cook. Cozy atmosphere, some of which can also be purchased. The sustainable aspect is also not neglected. That's why I give it the 6th star ;) I'm looking forward to coming back. P.S.: even the toilet is adorable (see picture)

Great concept and super friendly staff.

Gleis 11 is the perfect place if you want to have a coffee in a nice and cozy atmosphere. The coffee is simply excellent and is prepared with a lot of love! The homemade pastries and savory dishes are always a culinary delight. The diverse range has something for everyone and also follows a “zero waste” principle. Another highlight are the super nice and friendly employees 😊 I would love to come back and am already looking forward to my next visit to Gleis 11! Keep it up!

Fine coffee and very friendly staff.

A very beautiful little oasis! Very sweetly furnished both inside and outside and authentically run by the two managing directors. A large part of the ingredients in the food are produced in-house using hard, detailed work and you can taste it. The train runs very, very rarely and doesn't bother you even if you sit outside. So I can only warmly recommend it. Additional point of sympathy: both are involved/play for the Grasshoppers' first women's team!

Very comfortable to sit outside, and the interior is also very cozy inside. Absolutely personable and friendly, courteous service. Top. Fine food and extremely fine cakes and cafes. We'd love to come back. 👍😎👌❤️

The inn is super easy to get to! The good transport connections make a visit quick and easy. We didn't have to wait long for our food and drinks. That was great because we were extremely hungry that evening. The waiter worked quickly, cleanly and friendly. I found the offer extremely appealing.
