Very good cuisine, select wines, good and friendly service

We were a group of Hikers who scaled the Pilatus from its base and back. The location of the Bistro (next to the train station) was perfect for a refreshing drink after the hike and before we took our train back home :) The drinks were very refreshing, the service top class and the location / atmosphere perfect. SDure to visit again soon.

Beautifully renovated, you feel like you're in old times. Very friendly staff. Menus taste very good.

Very cool location, friendly and attentive service from Mr. Jost. Unfortunately, the chef was probably in love. Our fries were super salty. But all the good still outweighed the bad.

Originally I was just waiting for the bus to kill time, so I casually ordered satay, but I was surprised. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I have never eaten satay that is as tender as chicken. The indoor environment is good and there is a separate toilet.

Very good food, everything went quickly and the service was friendly but unfortunately she only came to take the order once and then not again.

We ate really well, great service, we felt very comfortable 😃 we always enjoy coming back to you 👍

Gleis Drei is an excellent bistro at Alpnachstad train station with delicious food and good beer. The ambience reflects the past of the place. Spare ribs with fries is highly recommended. The tarte flambées are crispy and fine. We'd love to come back. There are plenty of parking spaces and are easily accessible by public transport.

For us it was the first visit to Platform Three. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, we felt very comfortable. The menu is made up of carefully selected dishes. It has a nice selection of appetizers. The food was fresh and very well cooked. The service was very attentive and friendly. We'd love to come back. Ps. We would like to see a few more vegetarian menus. Best regards

We were there for the first time and absolutely loved it! Inconspicuous from the outside and so stylishly cozy inside. The food was not only a feast for the eyes, the way it was presented, but also delicious in terms of taste, A1. Only recommended!

I had ordered 15 kg of ribs for my birthday, we had no side dishes for dinner, no bread, just plain ribs and that was completely justified. The ribs were super juicy, perfectly seasoned and smoked. In addition, the ordering process with pickup was very friendly organized by them Operator. Gladly again. If you want something good for someone for a celebration, order something here, it's worth it.

Quick, decent and not too expensive. Wanted to go to Mount Pilatus and could get a quick lunch here before I went up.

I had an Angus 160g with fresh vegetables and chips. It was a hit. The meat was so tender and tasted fantastic. Great food and very friendly service.

Had a very disappointing experience. We were requested in the most unfriendly way to leave one of the outside tables. This despite of the restaurant being closed and no available tables at the other restaurant. While we were packing and leaving, the owner even closed the shade hitting us. There are much better ways to deliver the same message.... I guess they see tourists as an annoyance when they come after 14:00. This kind of arrogance was the reason of the fall of Basel World. It is always good to be polite, but having a restaurant in one of the most iconic places in Switzerland carries extra representation responsibility.

The ribs were absolutely amazing. I've never had such good ones in my life. Not even in the USA. We were told they were cooked overnight for 16 hours. They were definitely buttery soft. I got the attached photo from the restaurant's website. But they look exactly like that. We'll definitely be back soon

The Bistro Gleis 3 is an absolute blast! Very friendly atmosphere and beautiful terrace below the Pilatus cable car. We recommend the baked Geißen cheese (goat) and the tagliatelle with chanterelles. Highly Recommended!

The boutique among bistros. Very nice service and excellent food. The prices are a little surprising at first, but they are definitely worth the price. Will come back there again.

We had dinner there one evening and I really recommend it 100%. I had the hunting menu and my partner had a beef tartare as a starter then some ribs. We were both won over, the dishes weren't just good, they were excellent. The service, provided by the boss on our behalf, was fast and friendly. The evening menu is rather small, there are mainly meat dishes but everything is tempting. The prices are fair for the quality of what we ate. We will definitely come back as soon as possible.

We were there today and were able to enjoy a daily menu and a soup. It was very tasty (minced meatballs with fried potatoes and pumpkin soup with salad and bread). It's a shame we weren't asked if we would like another coffee or dessert - there would have been even more sales... otherwise tip top and recommended!

Very friendly reception and service. Nice menu, short and clear, even something for vegetarians👍crisp salad with super delicious house dressing. Beef tartare is highly recommended. The gnocchi was wonderful. The Brunello - nice aromatic density. We will be back!

During the day there is a bistro menu with a lunch menu, in the evening you dine with a small but fine and creative selection of dishes in the specially designed restaurant section. In the summer months you can also sit wonderfully on the beautiful terrace. Great wine selection, prices are fairly calculated. Friendly and personal service, you simply feel comfortable as a guest.

There must have been a change in management or it was following Covid that the menu had to change because from now on it's really snacking more than basic.. Otherwise service ok

The campervan dinner is absolutely amazing! It couldn't be better. Everything is right! From the first impression, reservation by telephone, warm welcome in the motorhome, courteous service with candles, Blüemli. The food was wonderful! Thank you very much! That was a sensational end to our first day of vacation in Switzerland. Highly Recommended!

Very friendly and the cuisine is sensational...

We were served friendly. You will find a large selection of patisserie, my favorite is the chocolate cake which is not overly sweet. The whole thing is wonderful with a fine coffee. In addition, new things are always being offered, such as a stand outside where you can enjoy an aperitif. I think they're trying to make the best of the whole situation, which I think will certainly be well received. We're excited to see what happens when things get back to normal for a long time.
