Gotthard Raststätte in Erstfeld

A very good rest stop with good opportunities to stretch your legs with your dog, as there is a path right next to it.

Apart from the fact that a bratwurst and a schnitzel without anything else cost CHF 19.00, the rest stop is clean and attractive.

We always like to stop there to fortify ourselves 👍🏻

There is a good, beautiful parking lot, there is a mini-market, the price tag is high. The toilet is paid, parking is also paid.

Great, homely rest stop. We were hiking and reached it via the suspension bridge. It has beautiful installations with spheres, a bell tower outside and the Tell saga to listen to. The food and drinks were good. You pay CHF 1 to use the toilet, which you get back when you eat in the restaurant. A fair price.

Paid parking!!! When you’ve finished your shift and you’re sleeping, some guy comes and knocks on the door. 15 euros, if there is no money, they kick you out or call the police. They say 15, they take 17 from the card. They give you a 35% voucher for food. It’s better to have free parking control within a kilometer. Gas cylinder refill available

The 2 star only for the fact that it can be reached by car and various parking spaces, but the service at the bar is from scratch, unpleasant, lazy and inconsistent staff.

Stop to make before taking the tunnel!! Prepare 1€ or 1 Swiss Franc and go to the toilet. We think we're ready to enter sauna cabins!!! Nice shop with the sale of souvenirs, decoration and top food: excellent bread as well as a superb fondue.

the most beautiful and well cured highway service station I’ve ever seen. The only problem is that it doesn’t serve manual machine coffee after 8 o’clock; so there’s just the automatic coffee machine serving, (the taste of the coffee is not one of the best)

You could shower very well here, unfortunately no extraction so it was nicer and warm in the loft, but it was a pleasant shower

After hearing so much about the amazing toilets here, we went to check them out ourselves. And I have to say: they did not disappoint! Those toilets are fancier than some chalets on Switzerland, and I absolutely recommend you come to check them out yourself. 5/5 would visit again.

The nice and courteous employees compensate you for the poor quality of the food. Price/performance is not right here. But anyone who expects quality at a motorway service station in Switzerland has only themselves to blame. Anyone who is smart will drive past it.

Beautiful rest area. One of the most beautiful ever seen, the fantastic suspension bridge that connects it to the path of the high hill behind the Reuss River, excellent for stretching your legs and enjoying a fantastic view!

Service area dedicated to William Tell. Beautiful, clean and tidy, you have to pay one Swiss franc for the bathrooms, but the cost is discounted by any consumption. Behind the service area there is a chapel and paths with a suspension bridge over the river. More than just a stopover.

Excellent stopping point along the highway leading from Switzerland to Italy. Store prices in the Swiss average (therefore generally high compared to Italy), the bathrooms are huge and clean.

Friendly, prompt and affordable. We regularly take breaks in these rest areas (north/south).

After many kilometers traveling in Switzerland, it is the first service station before taking the San Gottardo

Nice rest area with clean and original toilet facilities. Particularly nice for dog owners, as there is a fenced-in dog meadow. Also good opportunities for walks with the dog.

Fantastic place! Dog area, you can walk outside, refreshment and relaxation area. Bathrooms also have a shower. Incredibly beautiful. It's a shame that in Italy we don't have these areas...
