Gourmet 53 in Aarau

Very nice, bright restaurant with large windows. All tables are set in white, a dignified atmosphere. Extremely friendly and courteous service. The chef even comes to the table personally. The quality of the food didn't quite meet my expectations. The small, green salad for CHF 6 wasn't particularly nice. The main course for CHF 23.50: potato gratin cooked until soft, Aargauerbraten dry despite the plum and the tomato so soft that it almost fell apart. Unfortunately, a typical old people's home kitchen. A pity!

The café is a feel-good place. The food and drink is beautifully prepared and extremely tasty. I can recommend it to everyone. You can also have many vegetarian and vegan dishes.

The food was delicious, I haven't had such good beef carpaccio in a long time. The spaghetti carbonara and bolognese were also perfect 🤩 Will definitely be back 👍🏼
