GreenGo in Saanen

We were told that American IDs of any kind weren’t accepted and still had to pay for the short-lived coat check.

After 30 years in Gstaad the Greengo was always the place to go. Nowadays the Dj and the vibes are a huge disappointment and outdated. Not delivering what they promise (music). It's basic and not comparable with the clubs with the same price level and quality standards around the world. It seems to that they got lazy (because of no competition) and comfortable over the years not delivering what they promise. A huge big LOL

The music was ok at best. No space at all. Very claustrophobic if crowded. OneWay entry even with entry fees. Totaly a Overpriced rip-off. Do not recommend.

After paying the fee of 50.- CHF for the entry we went for drinks. Just to notice these where totally overpriced (4 shots and 4 longdrinks will most definitely cost more than 200.- CHF). Passed 2am. the Club also magicly turns OneWay (No one will tell you, you just have to know) and they won't let you back in, if your Male that is, we saw a lot of beautiful women get back in without a problem even way later than 3am. This in itself is a disgrace for a Club with no outside space whatsoever. There is no way for you to just breath some fresh air during your night out. The way to small space added to the claustrophobic atmosphere of the whole experience. In case, just like us, you forget your jackets be prepared to call the cops straight away because no one will take responsibility or even try to understand you. Just getting your stuff so you can leave and never look back is not an option. To summarize awful night! Would definitely not recommend. Just one more sad club in Gstaad's dying nightlife.
