Owners We ate chicken doner with bread. The ingredients and taste were good and the portion was large.

The staff is super friendly, the service is lightning fast, and the quality of the food is outstanding. I am a regular guest and I am impressed every time. Absolute recommendation!

Unfortunately, this restaurant only deserves one star, although it looks very classy from the outside, the food is not recommended. The portions are very small for the overpriced price and unfortunately the service at the counter is not very friendly.

Very few kebap joints impress me with the quality of there meat or the seasoning that they put on there Doners.. This one however impressed me with not only the meat and seasoning, The lady working the counter was also incredibly nice and welcoming. However, The sauce was extremely watery and made the bottom of the doner extremely wet and hard to eat, All thats needed is a thicker sauce and then its perfect. I highly recommend trying this restaurant

Consistently great dürüm (dare I say: the best im Basel!). Get the extra meat, it's worth it! Love that their vegetables / salad is always fresh and the friendly atmosphere / staff, even late at night.

Not only does the food taste very high quality and fresh, you also get a lot for your money! The Dürüm I received can be seen in the pictures. In one picture the contents compared to my hand (I'm a mechanic and have correspondingly large hands) and in the other picture curled up, but so bulging that it was hardly possible to close it. The place also looks clean and modern and the kitchen is clearly visible so you can see what the staff are preparing, another plus point. I enjoy eating there every time. It's a shame that I'm rarely in Basel.

I had a Dürüm Gyros. The food was very tasty, filling and appealing. I liked the selection of ingredients for the Dürüm and in my opinion the meat was better than at normal kebab stalls. The service was also very friendly.

Stumbled upon this place with our family looking for something to eat. The staff were really friendly and location was really cleaned which is why we picked it. The food was disappointing mainly because the durum/shawarma pita was very dry and tasted the dough, they should grill it or change it. As well the meat was a bit tasteless we kept having to ask for salt and other things to make it less dry..

I think I found another one of the best Döner/Dürüm place in Basel. Definitely on pair with Steinergrill as well as its size. Atmosphere is what you'd expect from a Döner place and the price is leaning towards the usual city center pricing. I was served quite nicely, maybe it was because there weren't much people at that time. But I'd definitely visit it again when I'm in the city.

Very tasty kebab and the service is also nice. The night surcharge on weekends and late hours is too much for the already high price.

Good and not bad, but the kebab meat doesn't come straight from the spit. The price is expensive for a small sandwich.

There's one thing I really don't understand. How can you love a kebab when every last drop of it is dry meat? The meat is dry and almost burnt! Maybe you should also sell veal on the side because it is much more popular than chicken. Mine had more vegetables instead of meat. There should be more meat and a bit of vegetables, not more or less. I also ate burnt meat several times. After 4-5 bites I stopped eating it. Especially for such a kebab/dürüm that it costs 12.- or 10.- is simply too much for such cheap meat!!!!!! I know every kebab snack bar in Basel. And there is only one kebab snack bar that is really a role model for every snack bar. Bread, Dürüm bread is all made by hand. Nothing goes in the freezer or refrigerator. He buys the freshest vegetables and the cleanest. And his sauces taste extremely unique. You'll never get a taste like this in Basel, believe me... The store is beautiful, the worker is super nice and kind. Very polite! Hygenically very clean. That's why I can unfortunately only give it 2 stars. Please do not grill the meat to a deep dark brown or black. That's disgusting. The juice must remain in the meat and not dry out.

Awesome kebab when you're completely clapped out at 4 a.m.. The perfect end to the evening, so to speak, and a guaranteed smaller hangover the next morning. This is also my absolute go-to kebab when I'm in the city, super friendly service and lovely fresh food. 10/10 Mashallah!!

Lieber LeserIn meinen Augen ist der Besuch in diesem Lokal, wirklich lohnenswert!Ich geh nun schon seit längerem mindestens 2 mal im Monat dort essen.Die Qualität der Zutaten und den Produkten, die sie daraus machen ist stets auf hohem Niveau! Man spührt das es ein Familien Betrieb ist und wird dem entsprechenden immer wärmstens empfangen. Sie geben sich alle immer Mühe das man zu frieden ist und erreichen dies auch. Bravo!

Best Dürüm in Basel. Has replaced the stone grill as the Dürüm king. Unfortunately the opening times are not comparable.
