Food was great, service was good. ☀️

We were there last night. Three dishes had a schnitzel, which unfortunately was not a schnitzel in terms of appearance or taste. The Cordon Bleu had a very special cheese in it. That wasn't my case at all. But that's a matter of taste and last but not least the Älplermacronen, which were by far the best. The young gentleman who served us was super nice and accommodating. I think next time we'll just keep driving and stop somewhere else!

I like to stop here to eat when I'm doing my personal round of the regular pass on my bike. The food is completely okay. With Cordon Bleu you could possibly swap the cheese for another type. It wasn't quite my taste but still delicious. But the coffee after dinner disappointed us. It was more like colored water and didn't really taste like anything. A pity. The service, on the other hand, was great. Attentive and always friendly.

Good stop with a motorcycle, lots of space, well-marked parking spaces for motorcycles. Large terrace, super delicious ham sandwiches. Friendly service. Recommended.

I used to be able to check availability directly via ParknSleep and pay with my flat rate, but now you have to go through the hassle of registering and leaving your details. And you don't see availability, so you have to call. Very unfortunate. We'll then move on.

We are there, in a converted van. 25chf for the location slightly set back from the road with hot water shower and WC available, in the area there is no better. We took 2 50cl Valaisanne beers (local blond beer) at 6.5chf, almost French price. So we tasted a tartiflette style dish, very good. Very pleasant waitress from the start and afterwards, we highly recommend 😊

Where is the cozy restaurant with the fine cheese slices and various Rösti variants? Things were much better with the old tenant. It has lost its charm. A pity. Food was nothing special. Every housewife can cook better. Definitely won't be coming back from this tenant.

We stopped to eat and ordered some spaghetti bolognese, they were good and the service was very friendly but with the meat they could be more generous since it was not visible in the middle of the pasta

Unfortunately it has gotten worse. Previously great with the old name Grimselblick. The food was also better and the prices were significantly cheaper. And above all, the service and friendliness was significantly better. A disgrace in Swiss gastronomy. Too bad...😭

Alplermagronen are simply inedible, almost raw potatoes, an indefinable sauce, spagetti Bolognese that have so much rosemary in it that you lose your appetite, after over 50 years I now have time until the landlord changes, but it's the last time like that!!

Nice employees and accommodating. Orders are quick and served too. Deer pepper is well seasoned and the spaetzli is homemade. The hash browns with fried eggs were also delicious. This location has a beautiful view of the mountains or the lake. I'd love to come back.

Cozy, rustic restaurant. Everyone else is closed, they are still open at the beginning of November. The service is uncomplicated and everyone feels like they do a little bit of everything…

Unfortunately, no rating is possible because we were not served, even after informing us twice. Guests also got up and left in front of us because they weren't served either. Somehow everyone seemed a bit overwhelmed and not organized.

I stopped at this hotel-restaurant, the only one still being open in the Grimsel pass an unusually mild end of October Friday night. The rösti I tried was not among the top ones I have had in my life but the staff was kind serving me despite the kitchen closing down any minute.

Es hat eine wunderbare Lage. It is not operated as a Hotel, but only as a Restaurant. Es hat jedoch sehr schöne Zimmer im alten Stil. Das Restaurant ist sauber, das Essen ist lecker und die Angestellten sind nett. Die Fahrt über den Pass ist anstrengend, es lohnt sich, hier eine Pause eingulegen. Von der Terrasse aus können wir die Murmeltiere ständig beobachten. In the Kristallhöhle you can see the exhibited crystals and some prepared animals. Man hat einen schönen Blick auf die Berggipfel und den unmittelbar benachbarten Totensee. The parking lot also has bus parking spaces and the restaurant also has camping spaces. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Laden gegenüber dem Restaurant. It's in a wonderful location. It does not operate as a hotel, only as a restaurant. However, it has very nice old-style rooms. The restaurant is clean, the food is delicious and the employees are kind. Traveling through the pass is tiring, it is worth stopping here for a rest. From the terrace, we can constantly monitor the marmots. In the crystal cave, you can see the crystals on display and some prepared animals. There is a nice view of the mountain peaks and the immediate neighboring Totensee. The parking lot also has bus spaces. The restaurant also has a campsite. There is also a small shop opposite the restaurant.

The food was really great, the service was also very nice. See you next time.

10/20/22.. We came to the warm, cozy, rustic and clean restaurant in the morning, cold. Were received very warmly. We were able to warm up with a nice coffee and croissants. Service friendly and attentive. Thank you very much and see you next time. 🌞

I happened to stop by a restaurant while passing by Grimsel Pass while traveling around the three major passes! The store atmosphere was warm and nice, and the coffee was delicious! The staff was also very friendly. They asked if I was Korean and welcomed me! He asked me to exchange it if I had Korean currency, so I paid with 10,000 won and francs and left! (I gave the coins as a gift) I left with good memories!! thank you!

We were passing through and went into the restaurant for a coffee and a very fine nut bar. The landlord was very accommodating and also had a few tips for us and a few stories about the area.

The service and the food were great, I would recommend it!

Hotel near center of Zermatt with a view of the Matterhorn from some rooms. Our room had padded cloth on some walls (like wall paper) and velvet curtains. Our door was very heavy, with solid wood inside and solid sculpted metal outside. Good bed and comforter. Very quiet - we heard nothing around us. The lobby has a great bar with a large assortment of liqueurs, plus several (four? maybe five?) areas with a fireplace (some used real wood or some used gas) and velour couches and chairs and lots of carved wood and paintings of the Matterhorn or meadows and mountains. Each area is big enough to hold a large family or group of friends. Nice dining hall on lobby level for breakfast, again with a view of the Matterhorn from that sunroom. There is an elegant restaurant downstairs. There is a large pool with jets in one corner, plus a separate sauna room. The service was excellent.

I came into the restaurant wet and cold, and the waiter immediately gave me a seat next to the tiled stove. In addition to the good homemade cake, I also had a very nice conversation with the owner. A rustic place with character, I would love to come back!

Service was good, very friendly. The food was not as expected. Ordered chef salad with grilled chicken. We got a salad plate with chicken cubes in a sweet and sour sauce. It wasn't really good.

Vegi game plate 26.50 Tk mushroom mixture, Brussels sprouts almost raw, homemade spaetzli, well, red cabbage bought ready-made The latte macchiato looks like a puddle of water, the milk looks like I have no idea how many times it has been heated. We only went to the groundhog park. A few animals were clearly visible. The 'watchdog' is impressive. However, I felt a bit sorry for the wild animals in their, compared to the wild, small enclosures...

We complain to the server, she says "she has no time for this stuff". My friend goes to the kitchen to complain. The chef just starts shouting at him and throws him a bottle, things get somewhat violent, we leave. I really can't say I reccommend this place.

I don't rate the hotel/restaurant. It's about the crystal grotto, for which the Hotel-Restaurant Grimselblick is responsible. On Monday morning, October 11th, 2021 we were on the Furka Pass and wanted to make our children happy, visit the crystal grotto and buy two crystals. We drove further up the Grimsel and stood in front of a closed door. Not just us, other visitors too. I don't have to write that the disappointment was huge. The weather was nice, no snow, no black ice on the road. There was actually no reason to close the door. You could also have left a message. opening hours Open from the beginning of June to the end of October, daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

A very cozy mountain hotel on the Grimsel Pass. The overnight stay is inexpensive. The food was very fine and enough for everyone. The rooms are comfortably furnished. Unfortunately a bit hard of hearing. The beds are comfortable. There is a camper parking lot at the hotel and with a little change you can get electricity or even take a shower. A secret tip for anyone traveling through.

We spent one night there and realized that the price-performance ratio was not right. The operators and staff are very friendly. The food was delicious but a children's plate (chips with nuggets) for 18 SFr is overpriced in my opinion. The hotel needs to be renovated urgently. There was damage to the furniture in the room, the room was cluttered, carpet, the shower tray was difficult to enter (the edge was so high that a child of 1.30m had to be lifted in/out), the lamp in the bathroom had a broken glass Etc.
