We have come several times with my girlfriend, the food is good but the service is getting worse and worse. The staff is not smiling, you feel like they are bothering you as soon as you ask something.

We eat there... and that's it. I take a blue-cooked beef steak and they bring me meat somewhere between rare and medium. I sent this steak back and brought back an almost raw piece of meat (mastery of cooking?), which basically doesn't bother me if the meat is good. Alas this is not the case, tasteless meat. Very noisy, noisy room. The hubbub quickly gave me a headache. In short, it's a canteen, does the job but you shouldn't expect more.

I had memories of a mediocre "restaurant", even back then. I had the opportunity to go back there last night with 3 people. It was by no means my choice but unanimously prevailed... What can I say except Disappointing... Icy welcome, non-existent atmosphere, unfriendly waiter, impersonal service. If only the meal had met my expectations but it was barely edible. Poor quality meat, cold and limp fries, three vegetables chasing each other. And the coffee... tasteless, not to mention the wine. Let's talk about the price and well that's the only thing high. Only the name sounds Italian... I will never go back there even if I am invited.

I went to see because I was offered a voucher, the restaurant is not very beautiful and the paper tablecloths with the salt, pepper, Maggi, Aromat holders are reminiscent of the canteen. The starters were OK, the morel pasta was sorely lacking in morels and the shrimp (the advertised specialty) was overcooked, very firm, dry. Not an unpleasant evening but for 100 bucks there are definitely better places around the place.

I just tasted the best shrimp cocktail in Martigny! This is the second time I've eaten here and I'm delighted each time. The pizzas are delicious, lots of choice. Efficient and friendly servers.

Had an excellent salad with an Italian dressing that I loved. The pizza was superb! We ordered a bottle of Merlot but got a different bottle, but it was still fine. Service was good but we had a had a long wait to pay our check. I will definitely go back when I am in Martigny again.

A disaster! The servers are not friendly, there is a long wait to be served. They shove several times without apologizing. The meat was cold, even the homemade butter didn't melt on it. We make the remark, we are told that it is not true. This isn't the first time things have happened to us. Note about not having finished the plate, that this dish or wine is not good. ⚠️Hygiene level not correct, a table is set up next to us, touch the cutlery, put it in the mouth, they used the napkin. These people decide to finally change places. The waitress saw and simply folded the napkin and didn't change anything at all! Like nothing ever happened… Absolutely not worth the detour, we will return there again. There are enough other good restaurants in Martigny :)

We have been 2 times. The first time on May 3 we had a pizza. Very good pizza and the waiter was quite friendly. The second time on June 12 we had a Chinese fondue. Not too great compared to other Chinese fondues that you can eat around. The service was totally lost and really not at all professional (a waitress who didn't have her business and a waiter who didn't want to be there at all). We might go back there one day.

Long story short: a decent place to have a lunch, but your experience may terribly vary based on the language you speak, the the zone you'll be seated in and, idk, the phase of the Mars in the waiter's zodiac sign. The food: delicious. Both the roast beef and the house specialty (pizza Grotto) were more than just decent. The location: Central, slightly off the main street. Best of all worlds from my pov. The setup: a mixed design, somewhat warn, but still matches the provincial theme very well. Napkins and some other disposables on a cheaper side than was expected. The cleanliness: OKish. Nothing bad to say, just feels a bit sloppy missing a spot or a crumble here and there. The service: random, inconsistent and sometimes disappointing. Once I had no problem here at all, but when came back the next evening the service was slow, unengaged and even abrupt to the point of being rude. Would consider him having s bad day, but the other table was treated by him with much more professionalism, decency and even warmth. To be honest, I was very unpleasantly surprised with that, and I had a completely different experience, when was dining here with a group of frankophone men - everything was nice, quick, with jokes and warm wishes. But this time I was with multilingual group, which has only German (Tuutsch) and English in common, and the reception was drastically different. Waiter didn't even attempted to recommend anything or upsell drinks. As one my swiss friends said: he clearly doesn't like us and I don't like him to, so we will do a serviced to everyone, if we simply never come back. Can't agree more.
