Everything is perfect in these places. The kitchen brigade is very competent and prepares delicious dishes. The service is attentive and very attentive to the needs of "customers". We feel (almost) at home.

We celebrated our Christmas dinner this year in the Grotto Fläscher Bad. It was a wonderful evening with fine food, great service and a beautiful ambience in the stylishly renovated winery. We will come back.

Very tasty and perfectly combined food. From the starter to the dessert... a poem. The menu was pleasingly low in carbohydrates. The fireplace room is cozy, you feel very comfortable and combined with the great service, it was a successful evening from A to Z. Gladly again.

We found the grotto on the www and booked it online without much googling. The welcome was very friendly and because the season was still cool, we enjoyed the aperitif inside. If the weather had been nicer we would have stayed under the vine canopy. The 4-course menu was excellent. Each course was explained in detail and professionally by the service specialist. Exciting creations and great ingredients. Anyone who loves cheese can choose from over 40 varieties. Presented and introduced by the cheese sommelier.

The hosts Stela, Dario and the whole team live hospitality and are very attentive. They make sure that you feel very taken care of as a guest. The cuisine is extremely creative and provides many a taste explosion on the palate. The wine list is varied. TLDR: a really ("still") nice insider tip with a beautifully restored grotto in a wonderful location, fine food & wine and extremely friendly service from the staff, including the owners Stela and Dario! __ An all around great evening! I was able to experience the grotto in the summer on the incredibly beautiful terrace - also recommended! This time my girlfriend and I were able to enjoy a cozy evening in the grotto next to the fireplace. The ambience was pleasant. Due to the manageable number of tables, you can feel the very friendly, personal service. The food was of high quality and tasted simply delicious: in creative combinations that you don't just cook at home (ok: I definitely don't) and that allow for new taste experiences. As a dessert, we definitely recommend the cheese plate, where you can choose from 35 cheeses from the cheese somelière (is that how you spell it?) Stela - so support with the selection was very gratefully received. Of course, all the dishes at the stately winery were accompanied by wine. We started with Cremant, moved on to a white, then red wine - all of which went great. We will definitely come back, thank you Stela & Dario!

A dream place for people who are open to special taste experiences

It was our first time in the grotto. What a great atmosphere in the covered garden. We had a 3 course menu, which was very good. We were also allowed to go into the cheese cellar and try various cheeses at the end. The staff was friendly and everything was very clean. We'll definitely come by again.

We were at the Grotto for a wedding and it was a perfect evening. The hosts, Dario and Stela, are incredibly friendly and accompanied us perfectly. No wish was left unfulfilled. The location is fantastically beautiful and the food is excellent. The products come from the region or are very special (the olives are to die for!). The highlight is the wine/cheese cellar. Stela is a “cheese sommelier” and has made eating cheese a unique experience. Thank you very much for a successful evening, I wish I could give you even more stars 😃 we'll be back soon.

We celebrated my husband's big birthday at Stela and Dario's with 50 invited guests. Everything was right: the weather, the service, the food and the hospitality. The hosts put their heart and soul into it and the food is simply heavenly. This will certainly not be the last festival we celebrate there. And otherwise there will be two of us. Amazing restaurant and definitely one of the best I’ve visited in the Rhine Valley. Dario is a fantastic host making you instantly feel welcomed and together with his lovely wife, create a fantastic atmosphere. Make sure you get a tour of their cheese cave and sample their cheese selection. The menu is very innovative, maybe a bit limited but their daily menu is first class and features all local ingredients. The wine list is also good quality and supports the local cuisine well. Location is wonderful and very intimate. Congratulations to them in bringing this more innovative food style to the Rheintal!!

We were guests in the grotto for the second time and were thrilled. From the first moment you feel comfortable and welcome in this idyllic place. Stela and Dario are wonderful, uncomplicated hosts. Marcel's dishes are delicious and have a fantastic variety of flavors. A visit to the cheese cellar under the expert guidance of Stela is a MUST for every cheese lover.
