Gruyérien in Bulle

Restaurant located in the city center of Bulle. Frame ok. The menu offers pasta, pizza, meat and fish. Rather cold and disdainful service. For the rest the food is good. Beef steak with gratin dauphinois and vegetables, voronoff sauce. Too bad for service.

Impeccable and warm service. excellent cuisine. The only downside is the noise. children are welcome and even pampered. a pleasure to eat at Gruyérien!!!!

A nice place but that stops here. I ordered a Moroccan pizza but it wasn't very good. Too many ingredients which made the pizza soggy and tasteless. The crème brûlée had no taste and finally the waiter, I found him a little snobbish but that is a personal feeling. Maybe the rest of the map is better.

Very good, but a little cramped

I was here with work colleagues for our Christmas dinner a few weeks ago. The food and service were quite okay. Unfortunately, a musician with a guitar came into the restaurant and wanted to play something for us. Someone from our group then accepted the offer and the guy tortured us and the other guests with his music for 10 minutes. I find this very annoying and would like such people not to be allowed into the restaurant.

Excellent cuisine and very friendly and professional service. We had a Hawaiian pizza with chicken (without ham because we don't eat it) as well as chicken mussels. All were excellent and the price was very reasonable for the quality and the place which is modern and clean. The crème brûlée is great! And the Spritzs are huge :)

We were impressed by both the quality of the food and the service. The selection is very large - from pizza to tartare to variations of moules, there is everything. Normally this is not necessarily a pro argument for us. In Gruyérien, however, the concept seems to work well and we really liked it!

We have been coming regularly for several years and have never been disappointed! Very friendly and friendly staff, I recommend!

Went twice in the space of 4 days, so it suited us, the service on our first visit was autain, so not particularly pleasant, the service on our second visit was just top notch, professional, relaxed, empathetic. The food is good but seemed expensive to us. It should be noted that the kitchen is open until relatively late and that reservations are taken spontaneously and in a pleasant manner. A brewery in the center of Bulle which only requires some improvement in terms of internal organization, employee training and price positioning.

The cuisine is very good, all the dishes tested are good. On the other hand, the staff is not really friendly and quite cold. The place is easy to find and no need to book to find a table (nice too!).

So a French waiter welcomed me with antipathy, otherwise the rest of the waiters also lacked sympathy except Jonas, an exceptional waiter who was very commercial, and very polite and educated. The food is very good but good food comes with a very good waiter......

The kitchen is very good! Nothing to say! The price is completely fair for the quality of the food we are served! However, the service is deplorable! I don't know where to start, whether it's the waiters ignoring us, the orders not complete or incorrect and the smiles are apparently much more expensive… I've already been there 3 times and although the food is good, I don't think not set foot there again… it’s a shame there was potential!

Always delicious. If you are looking for a restaurant where you can find everything, this place is ideal and the food is excellent. I had a pizza, it was excellent, even the crust was good. My friend had the shrimp pasta and the plate was so generous that she had to take the rest to go.

Not great service. We had dinner with my team and everyone would have to pay for their meal. I paid for my meal, left 2 francs for drinks and left. The next day I heard back from some of my colleagues that the waiter said that Mr. left without paying. Noted that I was the only man on the team that evening and that I paid in front of the waiter. Brief. You have to be awake at work. Plus the pizza I ate wasn't great. This is the first and indeed the last time I set foot in this restaurant.

Then tasted: 2 fillets of salmon: good.. 》》》Too bad though: We received a sauce that did not match the dish........and not very pleasant... We informed the server... The béarnaise sauce never came... Expensive: approx fr 140.- We observed with astonishment: Another table had received the béarnaise sauce.......not very cool... They offered us 2 espressos..

Hello, I came to eat around 1 p.m. in your restaurant, we ate well, however your server who was dressed in armalli is anything but friendly and pleasant. You have to change careers when you don't like catering.

Very good restaurant, a little noisy

I had an absolutely epic experience at this restaurant! The fondue with potatoes and bread was incredibly delicious, and we couldn't resist savoring every bite. Our server, a multilingual guy fluent in Italian, French, and a bit of German, was so awesome. He was incredibly friendly and made our dining experience even more memorable. A fantastic and cool place!

Super attentive and friendly service, we had the pleasant experience of meeting a Spanish waiter who was able to help us in the decisions when choosing from the menu (especially when choosing gastronomic products from the area). The pizzas are very good. The decor is modern and well thought out. There is parking nearby. Less close (market square in the worst case). However, I remove one star for the high price and the fact that some tables are very crowded. We see that it is done to optimize. For something one-on-one, it's limited. I nevertheless recommend this place.

Very nice restaurant! Very wide choice on the menu, possibility of fondue (I recommend!!) for 1 person, very friendly staff... we called at 7 p.m. on Saturday evening to reserve at 8 p.m. and no problem, despite the restaurant being full. Don't hesitate if you're passing through the area!

The dishes are good. Pizzas too. On the other hand, I agree with another comment that I saw here: very unpleasant smell of perfume in the room. Fortunately, the smells of fondue take over quite quickly...

Chic and very welcoming restaurant. The staff there are lovely and very helpful. I had an aperol spritz for the aperitif, nothing to say, very balanced, a treat. As for the steak on slate, really perfect, nothing to say. Bad luck for my partner and I, our start to the meal was disrupted by the neighboring table only complaining about nothing... The response from the responsible server DAVID clearly indicates that this restaurant implements questionable practices and consumer deception! He then asks us to check with his supplier! A slippery and daring response from this server who, in order to defend himself, put forward the fact that it was not the first time that there had been a problem. Indeed, during my first visit having ordered a couple Gruyerienne, the Gruyere cream was expired, the incident was recognized by the establishment and rectified! Very limited. Insolent staff, not open to discussion, products that do not conform to those promoted on the menu, expired gruyere cream and aperol spritz with beer instead of prosseco! I intend to notify the consumer association! IN ONE WORD: RUN AWAY!

Tables too close, privacy difficult but food, service and choice at the top

I did not want to post a review online about my last visit to this establishment, but rather write to them directly in a constructive manner. As they didn't even bother to answer me I decided to post my impressions here. For me this restaurant was a safe bet and I was not likely to be disappointed. However, that is unfortunately what happened that evening. When we arrived, I was immediately surprised and disturbed by a strong smell of perfume. This having dissipated once we were seated at the table, I no longer paid much attention to it, until I noticed that it came from the waiter and that it returned each time he passed near us!! I found it very disturbing when you come to eat, to be bothered by this kind of smell and even more so when it is so strong that it overpowers the aroma of the dishes! Then, we chose from the menu, I quote, “The beautiful Beef Entrecôte on slate “chef’s selection” 280gr.”. Certainly it was beautiful, but for 45.50 we could expect better quality. It really wasn't worth the price at all. Plus, serving it with a bowl of canned pineapple was in very poor taste! Fortunately the fries were good, but I didn't come to the restaurant to eat fries! The quality of this restaurant is plummeting, I went there for the last time!

Having been there several times, the food is very good. Unfortunately the service is long, the staff unfriendly. We opted for the take-out service but after more than 5 minutes of waiting on the phone, we gave up.

Good service. Fast. Effective. Shrimp pizza (very good pizza dough but lacks garlic) / beef tartare also good. Good address. Although the prices are quite high. The daily menus looked excellent.

On a busy Saturday night they managed to find a table for the two of us. Great service. Food was excellent. I had the entrecote with Cafe de Paris butter, very high quality cut of meat that melted in the mouth. My wife had the Thai prawns that were cooked to perfection. Not too pricey. Highly recommended.
