This bakery in Zurich surprised me positively and turned out to be a real insider tip. The selection of fresh baked goods was impressive and the quality of the products far exceeded what you can find in the larger supermarkets such as Coop or Migros. The fresh baked goods were a real treat for my senses. Whether it was crispy rolls, fragrant bread or delicious pastries - everything tasted excellent and was a testament to craftsmanship. The bakery also offered a pleasant atmosphere and the friendly staff created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was quick and courteous, which made the shopping experience even more pleasant. Compared to the products in the supermarkets, the prices in the bakery were reasonable, especially considering the fresh quality of the products. All in all, I highly recommend this bakery. Historic corner bakery in Zürich‘s 4th district. Offering a robust selection of breads, tarts, pastries, and related products (jams, butter, sodas, etc.); all tasty enough to warrant a stop when you’re in the area. Rather wide range of lunch items. Börek (fried puff pastry w/ feta cheese, spinach), pizza by the slice, etc. The Öpfel-Ringli (apple fritters) are old school and delicious.

Such friendly counter staff helping choose from a variety of sweet and savory options. I had the borek (delicious savory pastry that had the lightness of a croissant filled with thin sliced potato filling - kartoffel - which was very delicious) and my husband had a chocolate croissant and hazelnut pastry both of which were very good. A nice option for grabbing quickly (no seating) and eating in the park close by.

Bread isn’t just “bread”! In this family bakery, some things come out of the bakery that are surprising. For example, they offer bread that is baked twice. This special treatment turns the usual “dark” into an incredibly crispy and airy breakfast delight. In addition to the usual classics, a nice selection of sweet pastries and sandwiches, there are also some house specialties: The homemade burek in particular is delicious and you should definitely try it. There is always a smile from the friendly staff. A neighborhood pearl and a truly exceptional bakery!

This venerable, owner-operated bakery has been around since the 1930s. The range is manageable, but emphasis is placed on honest bakery craftsmanship and everything is freshly made on site. A little journey through time - also when it comes to prices.

Been there while waiting for my cellphone to be repaired. The small Apple pie was delicious. As a French I know how hard it is to find these kind of pies in Switzerland.

Delicious, fresh baked breads and pastries. They open very early, so for all you jet-lagged folks, this is a great place for a morning bite. The cash register is vintage and awesome, and so are the owners/bakers. Very nice ladies.

My favorite bakery, I go there to get my bread for breakfast before work. I always look forward to the fresh bread and the friendly service. The bread is still warm this early in the morning and tastes super fresh. It's not bread like other large bakeries in the city, which operate a large bakery somewhere centrally and then distribute the pastries to the branches.
