My absolute favorite bakery for over 30 years. I'm there 2-4 times a week. I love the sandwiches. The bacon plait and especially the various croissants.

Where is the FRÜHER bakery?? 🤯 I MISS YOU!!! 🥺 Unfortunately the quality has declined quite a bit. There used to be fresh “schinggäsilserli” “Schoggimagröndli” “Studenteschnitte” and and and... now it seems to me... as if I'm eating things that are 2-3 days old. A pity!! And after the Last Event... Nachja. My attitude is definitely, “Where there are people, mistakes happen” but in a grocery store, in my opinion, this shouldn’t happen. Unfortunately, the photo shows everything and the whole change! One bite and no more!!

The best bakery around. Long-standing staff not always new faces also speaks for this bakery. For lunch, for example, you don't have to wait 10 minutes and the food is already at the table. A great place to go for craftsmen who have little time. But also recommended for everyone else Stay as you are and friendly and above all the best bakery and cafe in the Basel area.

We were at 3.50 p.m. we bought two pear tarts and we ordered two to eat in the restaurant with 2 tea after ordering the staff said you have to pay immediately we close in 10 minutes and then you have to leave we said the tea is so hot and we are so old we can't finish eating in 10 minutes why are you selling us 2 more cakes to eat here. Answer from the staff I have already typed everything and can no longer cancel it. You can or have to take everything with you and then eat 2 cakes tomorrow. In the end we paid for 4 cakes and took them all home. What's wrong with you? We will never go there again and would like to warn everyone.

Was in Café Caprice, service friendly, objective. CAPPUCCINO lots of milk foam, average coffee. Butter pretzel, a leached something, weakly baked, neutral in taste, the butter, a whipped cream that doesn't taste or smell buttery at all. It's a shame

A very fine cream slice, a very good vermicelle and the lye and wholemeal croissants are also good. Very friendly staff. The performance and the price are right. I would love to come back.

We love the Gunzenhauser bakery in the company. Unfortunately, there are not several branches or a mobile car that goes to different locations during the week. But who knows, what isn't can still become :-). In any case, keep baking!

The Generalsutter cherry cake was really good. Now it's made with sugar water, horrible and inedible. This also saves money, but is this in the right place? I'm skipping the bakery for now because there are other products that taste worse than before.

Very good bakery, but the small Silserli (CHF 2.50) filled with only half a slice of ham is a deduction. Silserli with quark/chives convinced me. Great bakery for whose products I like to drive to Sissach once or twice every week to get really good bread. My favorites are dark St. Galler bread, Baselbieter Bauernbrot, black bread and the best half-white bread that I know. The large selection, the quality of the products and the always very friendly and attentive staff make shopping in this bakery a pleasure.

Fine egg sandwiches. Fine lunch with long waiting times until you are served...unfortunately never any promotions. Whiskey truffles and chocolates too EXPENSIVE

What a great bakery and super friendly and helpful team at the counter. There is everything a man could want from a bakery here. Everything goes great for nüni, nüni, 4 and night and of course also in large boxes for colleagues when it's their birthday again. Probably one of the best Buttersilserli in the region, definitely eat it straight away and pack a second one. Always happy to come here.

The service is always very friendly and accommodating. Hence the third star. The service at Caprice isn't always convincing either. Lunches are always great. The brunch, however, is sparse. I've had lunches where I only received sliced ​​bread with the salad. In principle, I place higher demands on a bakery.
