The Hahnensee mountain restaurant is a great retreat away from the hustle and bustle, a place that I always enjoy visiting. Everything is just right here: from the fine, homemade food to the warm hospitality to the picturesque location. The dishes are freshly prepared and lovingly presented. The unique Hahnensee descent, which leads to the restaurant, offers an unforgettable natural experience and makes the visit a holistic pleasure. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly hut team, whose courteous and professional manner ensures a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Very nice place after a hike with a breathtaking view

Have gone ip in summer and winter is always very good. The owner is very nice and speaks many languages. My favorite dish is the home made gnocchi paired with the home made blueberry cake. The views are amazing and the hike up in the summer is easy and very beautiful. You can also ski in in the winter and stop for a great snack. There is a very nice dog called Pino who is very mellow and hangs about, he is always up for pets if you walk up to him.

Restaurant reached from Surlej station after a walk of approximately 3.2km and 320m D+. Excellent cuisine with panoramic views of both the lake and the surrounding mountains.

A very nice and welcoming place with a stunning view

An impudence! We were looking forward to a delicious, warm Graubünden barley soup and instead received a small bowl of soup diluted with bouillon and containing a few pieces of barley and celery. We paid the hefty price of 14 francs for this. Overpriced and a disgrace!

Difficult to access. You can only go up there on foot via a steep path. The restaurant is pretty, friendly welcome but the prices are expensive and overrated. Damage.

Quite ok. Kindness was not invented here. At least you get the ordered goods quickly.

Nice restaurant with beautiful view

Disastrous service with rather mediocre food and exorbitant prices. Of course, the restaurant is not on a street. But the friendliness unfortunately remained in the valley. If you have allergies, they have no idea what it is (gluten) and act as if they understand it, but then serve bread with the salad... and then they get rude when you say that (normal) bread contains gluten . These tenants should definitely be replaced. Hopefully the tourism director will stop by. The lake is beautiful, the view too, but they scare everyone away! I feel temp, the Engiadina cumainza ad esser pü gentila invers ils giasts e na be adüna marmuogner intouorn, schi nu gira!

This place is a real treat. It’s located on the run back from Corvatsch into St. Moritz. A great place to stop for a drink and some food after a long day of skiing.

Of course the view from this place is the best bonus one can ask for. Take a hike and arrive at your destination, sit and relax taking in all the amazing nature happening around you. Not a fancy place, but service is friendly and familiar and you'll have a good time.

Simple but good cuisine at normal prices. The view makes up for the effort of the climb.

Nice quaint restaurant. Service is top! The price is comparable to the other dining options in St. Morirz.

A wonderful place perched at more than 2000 meters above sea level. You will taste typically local dishes (Capuns, Bradwurst rosti, Apflelstrudel...) on the terrace overlooking a magnificent view of the Saint Moritz valley and Sils Maria. A warm welcome, dishes prepared with care in this picturesque place which is only accessible by walking, well done to the team (this goes for you too of course!).

The price-performance ratio is not right here, absolutely not recommended 👎
