The atmosphere in the Hall 5 restaurant in Muri is super nice. Unfortunately, this level of dining cannot be maintained. We had to wait forever at the table for the menu cards. There were six of us. We only got four of them. There was only water for the aperitif because our host “Edi” simply ran away after ordering the water. He also poured the mineral water onto the table - somehow he was in a hurry. The beef fillet was very good and precisely fried. The Piccatta Milanese was also good, although too much. Unfortunately, the two Halle5 burgers were almost cold and very bland; hardly any taste. You couldn't taste the lettuce or the tomatoes. The French fries could have had at least a little salt. Another word about the Rösti: Nice and crispy on the outside and kind of soggy on the inside and too much nutmeg. The six of us consumed it for 360 francs. However, if Edi had been more at our table, it could easily have been 500 francs. But since Edi never asked for a second bottle of wine or another beer, we'll never be able to find out.

Been here twice now. The first time I went for lunch here, of course there was a short climb with the guests and it was quite stressful. The second time I went for dinner and there was a courteous but very scatterbrained waiter who served us. Leftover food that he dropped was swept under the carpet, I don't expect that here. Menus that I ordered differently and then get served by him are also pretty annoying. And I still have to say that I liked it and the waiter made an effort to serve us.

Nice location, Cevapcici with fine Lepinja and various sauces. The side fries were pale and soggy, the decaf cafe was quite watery, a shame about the affogato.

Atmosphere still great. Service is friendly but not very attentive. You always had to make an effort yourself if you wanted to order something else. We had to wait a long time for your bill. Just had a drink in the lounge here.

Pizza like bubble gum, visually nice but no taste and not worth the price. The pasta dishes are not convincing and are too salty. The beer is poured into the glass at the table, 3/4 foam - 1/4 beer, later it is poured again, the rest of the beer in the bottle (approx. 2cm.) with 3 bottles the waiter takes away without a word. At the bar people whisper and laugh at the guests. It's a shame for this place.

The best cevapi in all of Switzerland, the other specialties are excellent, the service and the atmosphere to remember. Each before a message to go and enjoy. Beautiful terrace... Music box unprofessionally connected to cell phone, meaning you could hear every typing etc. Drinks loveless, no ice, no lemon, nothing. It's a shame, we won't come back, there are much better places in Muri.

The facility is awesome. The restaurant is also very clean and the staff is very friendly. The menu offers a large selection of different cuisines, which is very unique. We will happily come back to enjoy the other dishes.

We were greeted at 9:45 pm with only half-hearted words If we don't eat, we are only allowed to sit in the lounge, where there was no one, even though the restaurant was at most 40% full. When we decided to eat something, the gentleman came under pressure and said he first had to clarify whether it was possible to eat at that time... The spaghetti alla carbonara was oversalted and not really a pleasure. In this sense, there is still room for improvement in the service... and in the kitchen ;-/

I need to change my review. They opened the restaurant again and unfortunately is by for not what I was expecting. The location and the fittings remain the same and are lovely as before, but the menu and service changed. Is the kind of restaurant that uses "Aromat" on their fries, the meat for the burger was just a funny past and the Schnitzel was dry. I left on the plate what I did not liked and I got a funny look from the personnel when they saw it. I was a bit disappointed. Old Review The location is easy to find, though a bit hidden from the busy road but just 5 min away from the train station. The food is really great and, as a plus, child friendly. Not so many Swiss restaurants are ready to welcome and entertain the little ones :). The food is great, meat is from a local bio farm and the cook knows his way with it. If you just want to have some drinks and some bites, I loved the starter for 2. And the cocktails are really good too. There is also the option to stay outside (when the season allows it) and the personel is really friendly and pays attention to the guests. I have been already 3 times here and I will go again for sure :)

Unfortunately, things haven't been the same since the change of ownership. The menu is too big, it's better to focus on something specific. The food was good, the portions were large. The wine service left a lot to be desired. We were also hardly asked for drinks anymore. The disappointing thing was the dessert. I ordered a mango sorbet with passoa. But instead of Passoa, I got Campari, which tasted worlds different. I didn't like it so I couldn't eat it. We then asked if they had used Campari instead of Passoa and they said cool, yes, we don't have any Passoa. I would have expected them to come and ask me if it was okay with Campari or offer me something different. At least they didn't charge for dessert. It's a shame, unfortunately I was no longer convinced to go there.

When we came into the restaurant, we were immediately greeted warmly. The waiter immediately showed us to a table. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, a mix of industrial/modern and cozy. The food is made with a lot of love and is of good quality, we had a very nice evening, we ate well, we would like to come back and try more of the menu. Unfortunately, the change of ownership didn't work out perfectly. The ambience and furniture are still nice and cozy, only the copper cutlery is missing. Unfortunately the food was a disappointment. Anyone who knew the food beforehand knows that it was worth the money. All that remains of the new concept are the prices. Dishes thrown together without a concept. Bruschetti soaked in vinegar, without toasted bread, cordon bleu boring and too small for the price, crepes cold and loveless. We miss innovative cuisine or a concept, we would like to be ok with Persian cuisine too.

Nice ambience, unfortunately the desired industrial charm is not quite achieved. I would take Puls 5 in Zurich as an example. The food was good, perhaps at the upper price limit for what was on offer. A definite negative point is the service. Far too little attention is paid to the guest, starting with waiting at the entrance to be shown to the reserved table. There you don't receive the menu card as expected, but you wait a few minutes until you receive it. The so-called additional sales, aperitif, desert starter, etc., are not offered or only partially offered. The staff isn't dressed "smartly" enough, which wouldn't matter in a family restaurant/pizzeria, but the ambience is probably aimed at a different audience.

Beautiful ambience. Thanks to the high ceiling it is very airy and not noisy. You can have a pleasant conversation. The food is more on the upper price segment. Attentive service, beautiful plates, cups, etc. My Wienerschnitzel was a bit dry and had too much “marinade” on the meat. My colleague's rack of lamb was quite fatty. (Proud price of Fr. 44.-!) Certainly the best restaurant in Muri and the surrounding area: industrial design takes up many decorative elements from the old LUWA factory (copper-colored cutlery, cranes as lamps, etc.). The drinks are varied and good. We decided on the 4 course surprise menu. The first cold course was delicious. The cold soup as a 2 course was ok. The corn poulard as the main course was very tasty, you could bathe in the sauce 🤓. Dessert was solid: fruit cake with crumble and a very good berry sorbet. There is nothing like it in Muri. Price was okay: 69.-. The service is friendly and professional. We will definitely take the surprise menu again!

The location stands out and the interior is really great, but the food came during the aperitif and was cold. The burger for 38 CHF (!) was unspectacular and nothing special. Unfortunately, the Angus beef was almost cooked through and tough, even though it was ordered à point. The service, although nice, is inexperienced and uncoordinated with the kitchen. For these prices you can simply expect more. Conclusion: Price/performance is not really right.

We had an excellent meal in this beautiful, stylish restaurant. The starter platter was very creative and just as delicious as the main course. We were always served in a friendly manner. Only the standard knife wasn't particularly suitable for the meat. All in all highly recommended.
