Hallo Beirut in Zürich

I tried Chicken zinger first time. The food was awesome. Restaurant staffs are well behaved. Overall i recommend this restaurant.

To be honest, it doesn't look particularly inviting from the outside. However, the food is excellent. The staff friendly and accommodating. Maybe something for just take away rather than eating on site. But I'll definitely be back to get some take away!

I had the chicken shawarma and I have to say it was very dry and not much sauce. I wouldn't miss it.

Since last year once or twice a week, used to eat Lebanese specialties here. Dany and other chefs were very talented and very polite. Dany left, first taste has changed. I didn’t like the new taste. Then I gave the seconds chance (20/02/2024) evening and went with my wife again. This time taste was better but the manner of the new chef was a bit strange. I gave the order and waited there to check if there was any new food change on the menu which was on the wall. By looking at me a bit rude, he said that I shouldn’t wait there because he needed time for a mise en place. I was in front of the serving unit and was no blockade for anyone. There were only 4 more people eating food. However, He spoke with Lebanese customers in their own language and calling them habibi etc. -which is the only word I can understand -and bla bla … He has laughed and make jokes with them. I believe that He has no idea about hospitality in Switzerland. Come on man, you are in Switzerland and should serve everyone in a good manner and be polite. Never again!

The sandwiches at “Hello Beirut” tasted just as good as in Beirut. The schwarmas and falafel were delicious and topped with fresh ingredients and vegetables. The store was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

I ordered a kafta shawarma there for the first time, which was really delicious. The staff was also very friendly.

I ordered a falafel today because I liked it so much last time. This time it exceeded all my expectations, it was fantastic. Homemade falafel dough, lettuce, tomatoes, fresh mint, fine sauce... simply delicious. Thank you very much, I will definitely come back.

Hands down the best lebanese food in Zurich ... a must try is their flafel wrap which is legendary crunchy flafel, loaded with fresh herbs tomato and that magical drizzle of tahini yummy ... also their meat shwarema is sooo tasty they use delicious meat cuts and that tahini sauce is just out of this world!

I ordered a beef shawarma from the gentleman and had to wait 10-15 minutes because there were two in front of me. When it was my turn he told me there was no more beef, so I asked myself why I had to wait an unnecessary 15 minutes. He could have told me from the start because the other two took something different. Just a shame

It's one of the best options out of the bad ones. The menus are rarely the same. I often order shawarma plates and have received at least 5 variations so far. Unfortunately, you can't always count on good quality of the grape leaves (sometimes they come from a cheap can, sometimes they come from a good can, sometimes they're homemade and really good). Makdous should be avoided; they are always served in a cheap can and simply put on a plate. Manakeesh are almost always good!

With DISTANCE and WITHOUT RESPONSIBILITY, the best Lebanese restaurant in Switzerland. The restaurant is small, but the explosion of flavors when you bite into the shawarma transport you to another universe. Simply incredibly delicious.

Best lebanese food ever !!! We tried Mix Teller ,Rind schawarma,Manakisch lahme , coleslow-salad,Hummus, Baba Ghanousch and french fries 🍟 The portion are huge and so delicious 🤤 Will order again and again Weiter so 👏

We took a mix plate for two people because it was our first time at Hallo Beirut. The service was excellent. The things were beautifully prepared and packaged. We were also allowed to ask questions and were given appetizers to try. We really enjoyed it. The portion was very large. Update: We've been there several times since then to get takeout. And every time it was a pleasure.

Best shawarma in town. I've never been to a Lebanese restaurant in Zurich with this quality of food, cleanness and service quality. Definitely recommend, many influencers like Züri isst and others have recommended it. It was nominated as one of the best restaurants in Zurich city. Mixgrill plate only had beef and chicken on the skewer, which is different to what I'm used to at other Lebanese restaurants. The meat was also cold and sometimes rubbery. For the price the plate is just not worth it compared to other Lebanese restaurants in Zurich sorry.

Best Lebanese food you can get in Switzerland at this price. Incredibly delicious and the staff not only makes you feel warmly welcome but you are served like a long-time friend! Hats off.

I tried this place twice. Take away. First I got a beef kebab and second a falafel kebab. The beef one was quite weird to be honest. The meat did not taste as beef and my girlfriend and I were a bit skeptical whether it hadn’t gone bad. We were not able to finish it. The falafel version was definitely better but not to the point to excite us very much.

I had the falafel in the flatbread late in the evening. I had to wait a bit, but it was worth it: the falafel in the flatbread was very fresh, as were all the remaining ingredients! The portion was huge! And the service was really extremely friendly and professional. Lots of veggie/vegan options - all of which taste really great - and the prices are very fair! The bistro/snack bar is small, but it's definitely worth a visit and I can recommend it to anyone who wants a quick, uncomplicated Lebanese meal.

Hummus is not recommended and as a disadvantage I would say that the two tables in front of the toilet were not that hygenic. Otherwise the staff, food and price were good, thank you!👏

Fantastic falafels, as good as it gets. Crunchy, tasty, generous size. Taouk chicken was perfectly cooked with bread was also perfectly grilled. Great spot, would love to return.

I was there last Saturday and have to say: the shawarma was great! The salesman was very nice and explained everything to us. He even offered to split both shawarmas in half so we could try both. The meat tasted very fresh and it was marinated in-house, not from pressed meat. I would definitely go by again.

First time ordering from this place, via Uber eats. My entire group and I found the meal to be incredibly delicious and tasty. The ingredients are all fresh and the portion sizes are appropriate. Food arrived hot and in a timely manner. Would recommend!

Amazing! First of all for my Lebanese food… incredible! Super generous portions, you almost couldn't finish the plate, delicious food, and super friendly staff! The only thing I would improve were the piadine which were a bit dry and bland. For the rest, the flavors are very intense, a lot of salt, garlic, onion. Highly recommended

I ordered Warq Enab and the Kafta sandwich. I highly don't recommend anyone to get the former as it is canned. I've tried canned Warq Enab before and it tastes just like it. To pay 6CHF for canned food at a restaurant that should be serving fresh food is an absolute rip off. It makes me wonder what else they serve not fresh. The sandwich wasn't bad. The Kafta was just off the grill and juicy. I would go there for their sandwiches but perhaps not the sides.

Last week we reserved a table for 5 pax for today. Unfortunately the reservation was forgotten. The food was very tasty. The falafel tastes incredibly delicious. I can really recommend it. The mix plate was also very fine, the beef didn't suit my taste personally, but it tasted very good to 3 others. Unfortunately the fries weren't crispy. Overall, I would come again if I'm in Oerlikon again. There is a lot of love behind the products. I can definitely recommend it and definitely order falafel 🧆 🥙

Waited over 1 hour for food. Others have waited so long too. Orders were also forgotten! The fries were soggy and there really are other Lebanese in Oerlikon that serve better food.
