Two days ago I ordered 16 sandwiches (tona, eggs, salmon). I told the saleswoman that the rolls should be halved. I paid in advance. When I picked it up I was told that the seller had made a mistake in the price. Half rolls would be more expensive. On top of the amount I had already paid of Fr.67, I had to pay an additional Fr. 22 to halve it. We find this absolutely not customer-friendly and a rip-off. Actually we could have insisted on the amount paid in advance. There was nothing except an apology, not even a chocolate chip. Cafe Strassmann is absolutely overpriced and we will no longer shop there.

Modern restaurant. Clean, bright, new. We ate penne with pepperoni cream sauce and chicken. It was very fine and beautifully presented. I also thought the salad dressing was very good. The service was very friendly and attentive.

We were here for lunch. We ordered from the mixed menu and were able to put together whatever we wanted. Cozy atmosphere, the food is fresh and very tasty, the service is friendly and the prices are moderate. All in all, highly recommended.

We ate very well here. Nicely decorated and very friendly staff. Dogs are not allowed inside. If the temperatures are right you can sit outside. Daily menu, bowls and various salads available. Plus the offer from the bakery counter. Highly recommended (except for pedestrians with dogs in cold temperatures).

A few days ago I came across the mobile sales van from the Strassmann craft bakery at Beton AG. To my surprise, the driver also has a hamburger in the vehicle. Guys, this thing tastes great. The meat has a slight spiciness of pepper and the sauce goes well. Even the price of 6.50 is absolutely justified because the thing stays in your stomach for a long time. However, there are only 4 stars for it because the lettuce leaf must feel very lonely. At least a slice of tomato or a slice of pickled cucumber would be a suitable addition. I would easily pay 50 cents more for that.

The sandwiches taste good but I find them rather expensive for what you get.

Unfortunately, the pastries are often too dry. I now know several people who no longer want to shop there because the goods don't taste as fresh.

If you receive dry old peaks on a Sunday morning, it's a disaster, unusable ❗

I ordered the craft breakfast. 2. Coffee was included according to the menu, but was still listed additionally on the invoice. Staff quite inattentive, had to wait 15 minutes for service. Amount of food poor and completely overpriced. Certainly not worth a second visit.

Great bakery with delicious bread, plus a café with some seating. The staff is nice and very accommodating. Everything is wheelchair accessible and at ground level. There are enough parking spaces on the other side of the street. They can also boast an outdoor area, unfortunately right on the street. It is located a little outside the center, but still worth a walk there. We'd love to come back😀

Just bought a snail for CHF 2.50 when changing trains in Romanshorn. Unfortunately it was neither fresh nor good in taste. Other bakeries can do this not only better, but also cheaper...

Excellent, lukewarm cheesecake bought directly at Weinfelden train station. There is a deduction for the e-numbers, glucose, etc. A spelled sandwich without added sugar or something similar would be desirable. only then will I buy again. staff friendly.

Honesty looks different to me... For many years I bought my beloved Pain Paillasse® from you. Now the bread is called artisan bread. I suspect that you simply wanted to save the license fees for the patented Pain Paillasse®. You now collect this yourself as a reward for circumventing a patent and leaving customers in the dark. I find that dishonest and reprehensible!

Great value for money and friendly staff. Be sure to try the raspberry roulade in summer. The breakfast leaves no wish unfulfilled. By the way, there is probably the warmest toilet in Thurgau (next to the bakery).

I was very disappointed with the braid, unfortunately it was already dry after less than a day. That's not even the case at Aldi.

You live up to your motto. I wanted to send my girlfriend a birthday cake at short notice. Of course a little more difficult in the Corona period. After a short phone call with a very friendly employee, a birthday cake could be organized for home delivery. Thank you for the uncomplicated help.

Best cakes ever. Breakfast also very good. The staff and especially Mr. Bachmann are always very friendly, in the store and on the phone. Five stars is almost not enough. Price performance is absolutely the same. Simply your favorite Beck.

Oh well. I've been coming here off and on for a very long time. My last purchase prompted me to write a review. In addition to the very fine Rustico Zrudelbrot and the equally fine Black Forest cake, the previously very good cream slice was unfortunately no longer really good. The fruit tart wasn't a hit either. In both cases the filling was to blame. Please change the filling back to the previous one. Then I can give you 5 stars again. By the way: The staff was extremely polite and accommodating.
