Excellent food, large portions and friendly service. We recommend!

Very good and authentic cuisine. We ate spring rolls, a Thai curry, another rice dish and probably the best soup I've ever had. The staff was very friendly and the price was right too.

We went to Hirschen-Thai for lunch for the first time. The service was very nice and attentive. The menu items we ordered were very tasty and the spring rolls were also excellent. The price/performance ratio was very good. We'll definitely go again.

Unfortunately, since the change in the kitchen, it's no longer good. The dishes are now carelessly prepared and unfortunately anything but authentic. Some dishes are missing essential ingredients and the preparation seems to be aimed at bringing little magic to the table with little effort. We were regular guests, probably not in the future.

It was a very but very bad lunch and it was my worst, most brutal lunch! The woman scolded us all and her face was just annoyed the whole time, and we waited 1.5 hours for the food! Where did the owner find and hire this woman as a waitress? She is not only suitable as a waitress, but also for other public works! I am still speechless! Shame on you!

Apparently too rich to use the phone. After calling 6 times there was still no answer

When you think of the name, you don't think of a Thai restaurant. Furnishings are reminiscent of a Swiss restaurant. But the food is Thai! Very friendly service and very good food!

I just think it's a shame that the chicken is from Brazil. beef and pork are sourced here from Hirsch Metzg, which certainly speaks for the quality. The food was average for me. There are better ones in Weinfelden!

The staff was very unfriendly and indecent. The food was ordered mild but was very spicy and had to be returned. The meal was still charged the full price on the bill. Instead of an apology, the service staff became rude. An absolute disgrace.

Secret TIP Inconspicuous Thai restaurant.., The food is wonderful.... ask how spicy the food can be and the staff will respond to your wishes. We will definitely come back.

Very tasty Thai food. Also very inexpensive. At the beginning there was a greeting from the kitchen and a small dessert on the house. There is a lot of choice for vegetarians.

I always enjoy coming here. The food is very good and the service is friendly. There is a menu at lunchtime. The soup with it is highly recommended.

Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne in den Hirschen - das Essen ist einfach hervorragend und die Bedienung sehr nett. Aus unserer Sicht das beste Thai Restaurant in der Schweiz!!

Hello world, hello Google, Clear clean 3 stars. Quite simply my fried rice noodles were overcooked... Cooking rice noodles is as boring as throwing pasta into a pot and then sizzling it in the wok. The rest would be great... Thai beer atmosphere etc... also very young service staff (the boss's son ???) compensates with politeness for absolutely no gastronomy expertise. Friends asked what is the difference.. red and green curry.... it was “suspected” due to the consistency of the sauce.😂 Conclusion is... I'll move on to the insider tip Thai... which unfortunately is never shared on Google. Otherwise the mini restaurant would be even fuller because you have to call two days in advance for lunch... The Thai here because of the cuisine 3 stars.. Rest top...

Wir essen sehr gerne thailändisch und da wir sehr lecker gekocht. Sehr gute Qualität und sehr nett eingerichtet. Wir gehen immer wieder gerne.

Schönes Ambiente, viel Holz. Gediegen gedeckt. Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Gerichte sind ziemlich so wie in Thailand.

Food is sensational! You can also have it Thai style :-) Ambience very homely and rustic but with Thai flair.

belle ambiance ils possèdent même une salle de banquet ils organisent souvent des manifestations de ventes de motos anciennes rassemblement s de tracteur le restaurant est sympa belle déco un arrêt sur la petite terrasse s'impose , je n'ai jamais vu dans un restaurant sur la carte la provenance de chaque viande AVEC indication d'une éventuelle vaccination ou nourrit avec de L'OGM surtout les viandes Américaine

Nice, friendly staff and tasty food.

Although it was completely full, we still found space at the regulars' table. We were served courteously and very friendly. The Thai starter platter was freshly made and not too much. The duck that followed was delicately prepared. Delicious vegetables with it. Fits. Price was moderate. Gladly again when we are in Weinfelden.

Wir gehen immer wieder sehr gerne ins Restaurant Hirschen. Für uns ein Geheimtipp, wenn man richtig gutes Thai-Essen möchte. Der Name lässt es nämlich nicht erahnen, aber die Küche ist authentisch und die Gastgeber sehr, sehr herzlich!

Das Restaurant ist gut gelegen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr zuvorkommend und das essen ist wirklich sehr gut. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben fein getafelt am frühen Abend, die ruhige Athmosphäre und den guten Service sehr geschätzet. Der Besuch war vor ca. zwei Jahren, ohne Übernachtung.

The most authentic 'som tam' I've had outside Thailand, Thai 'spicy' really meant that and I thoroughly enjoyed both it and the red curry I had to follow.Service was very good, with our server being able to speak Thai, German and some English. The restaurant is upstairs and I didn't notice a lift.

Das Restaurant Hirschen haben wir mittags besucht. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und das Essen ausgezeichnet, kann es wirklich jedem empfehlen, freue mich schon auf das nächste mahl. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich ausgezeichnet!

Ich war scho mehrmals, immer abends, im Restaurant Hirschen. Das Essen war immer sehr gut und ich freue mich auf viele weitere Besuche!

Waren in diesem Restaurant zu zweit. Zuerst geht man geht in ein restauriertes schweizer Altstadthaus herein, betretet das Restaurant im 1.Stock und befindet sich in einem Thailänder. Verblüfft nimmt man an einem alten restaurierten Bank platz und schaut auf eine thailändische Statue. Das Essen ist sehr guter Qualität. Für meinen Geschmank war es etwas zu mild, das kann man aber bestimmt noch schärfer bestellen. Wie die Speisen hiessen weiss ich nicht mehr jedoch war es Pouletgeschnetzeltes mit leckerer Sauce, Reis und Gemüse dazu.Richtig verblüfft war ich beim Preis. Die Restaurants in Weinfelden gehören nicht zu den günstigsten. Hier jedoch bleibt man locker im 2stelligen Bereich inklusive Glas Wein.

Ich kann das Rest. Hirschen nur empfehlen. Esse jede Woche ein bis zweimal dort. Dienstag und Donnerstag Mittags gibt es Thaibuffet vom feinsten zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Abends in nettem und gemütlichen Ambiente alla Card von der Chefin persönlich sehr fein gekocht. Die ganze Familie hilft mit und sind sehr freundlich, sie gehen auf alle wünsche ihrer Kunden ein.Ich fühle mich immer sehr wohl, ob mit Freunden, Geschäftlich oder Alleine.Wirklich super einfach zu empfehlen.Herzlichen DankRosmarie

Wir waren schon öfters dort essen. Die Küche ist wirklich 1A. Das Restaurant wird von einem sehr netten Ehepaar geführt. Herr Kindhauser bedient die Gäste äusserst charmant und er ist jederzeit höflich, witzig und aufmerksam. Seine Frau Phannee Kindhauser ist eine exzellente Köchin. Bisher hat uns jede Menu absolut überzeugt. Auch die Preise sind für Schweizer Verhältnisse toll. Wirklich nur zu empfehlen!
