Mega fine vegi burger. Good beer. Price-performance is right. Gladly again.

Tldr; come for the beer (v good) and the terrace. You can get food if needed, but currently not recommended. Place. Nice enough, big terrace. Nice in winter (sun streams though the windows). Excellent in summer I’d imagine. Service. Unfriendly (almost rude) at the start. Mostly professional afterwards, but no warmth. Beer. Wide bottle selection; good draft selection. Price ok. The best part of this place. Water. 6 francs for half a litre of tap water, really? Outrageous. No other word to describe it. Food: very disappointing. Small menu, edible. Missed chance to serve beer inspired food (beer infused stews for example) or at least Swiss classics (eg several types of sausage) that go well with beer. Vegan possibilities. Cordon bleu. Very meh. Have much better in the canteen where I work. Hot dog. Sausage is tiny. A bit of a joke. Brioche bun (for a hot dog?) overfilled with coleslaw/salad. The coleslaw/salad is very good but overpowered the hot dog. Upsize the sausage, remove the coleslaw/salad to a side dish on the plate and you have a winner.

Chicken wings were very dry - the service employee was surprised that we wanted to share them.

Tartar was too spicy for medium, especially if there were children eating with it, but otherwise great. We've had better chicken wings Otherwise a great restaurant

After a mediocre review a few years ago, I'm happy to write a new and positive review! We were very happy at the Brewhouse on our last visit. The service was very friendly (the waiter/bartender did a great job!), the atmosphere was relaxed and everything was perfect. I can't judge the food, we were only there for a beer. Will be happy to come back.

Great BrewPup I can recommend. Very nice selection of beers and some good food on the menue. The vegetarian Flammkuchen is spicey - very good !

We spontaneously went with our kids on Saturday and didn't know it. Definitely exceeded expectations, fine burgers, great service and great atmosphere. Top! Children's menu is still missing but everything is well resolved.

Poor experience:( Choice of beer is boring, and a waitress told me that it's not a time when people drink beer 🧐🤣. Sorry, aren't we in a brewpub? Some of the beers are from "America" (which country, or which America at least?). Odd. Eventually when our group orderd beer and snacks, the waitress complained, that we occupied a table without eating (again: aren't we in a brewpub?). It's like, before inviting people for a beer I need to make sure they are hungry? Switzerland is known with its welcoming service. Such a rudeness was just shocking.

Beef burger was great! Well loaded, the meat is cooked perfectly, as it should be in a burger. The fries are also simply delicious! Definitely a recommendation

We came on sunday before the opening hours around 11:45 (15mins before) there was two waiters inside and there was a lot of spexe outside to sit we asked them to stay outside until its open, those two weiters were very rude to us:s

Mouth lock burger with a taste explosion. Fresh, crispy fries, large selection of different beers. Very cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

A culinary surprise awaits you in a fairly new residential area. The Brewhouse is a modern, elegant neighborhood pub with many very nice details about the past of the Zwicky spinning mill and also about the brewery of the neighboring company. In addition to the tasteful interior, which will be expanded to include a terrace in the summer, the restaurant stands out for its friendly, attentive and entertaining staff. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome here. Everything is very personal. And not entirely unimportant: the food. The map is small and fine. From Swiss fillet to fish to veal cheeks, very good quality is served here. Customizations are also possible with surprising plates. And last but not least: In addition to a lavish beer list with beer piped directly to the brewery, there is an exciting wine list; Portuguese white and red wine is recommended. The atmosphere invites you to chill out, have a drink at the bar or eat. Or all together. Definitely worth more than one visit. -- Update October 2023 Lunch on the terrace, but only in the front rows, they say. You're barely in your seat when you're asked about your drink and the daily menu is explained, even though the second person isn't there yet. The menu is expensive: my green leaf salad with a few shrimps and 4 cucumber slices costs 26.-. The menu soup tastes very good. The salad is rather lean, but the roll is good. I suspect that today the focus is more on a cozy after-work beer with colleagues than on the culinary delights. And that seems to work and has succeeded. Attention: Park at Aldi, otherwise there is a good chance that there will be a bus.

The food was great and the waitress was able to put together something vegan for me. My friend was also enthusiastic about the food, the only criticism was that the service was a bit long towards the end, but otherwise everything was great. Drinks too.

We were there because we had a voucher for the “Go ässe ga” subscription. The beer knuckles were also explicitly advertised in the Büchli and we wanted to try them today. First of all, the good thing is that it is a very nice restaurant with a very cozy beer garden. The service was very friendly and helpful. And the beer was really worth the trip. Now to the food: My wife had the Treber Cordonbleu and I had the beer knuckle with mashed potatoes. The pork cordon bleu cost a whopping 38 euros, which is not excessive for the Zurich region, but unfortunately it was very dry and difficult to eat (probably spent too long in the deep fryer), but the taste was OK. The knuckle: Served on mashed potatoes, topped with potato chips and covered in sauce. The first knuckle was cold inside, so it was warmed up and then not properly. The mashed potatoes with coarse pieces were not to my taste at all (that's why it wasn't bad) it just didn't suit me. And the potato chips on top weren't crispy, they were rather chewy and didn't taste like anything. The second knuckle was red hot :) but the meat wasn't that tender and unfortunately also very dry. It was no longer fun to eat them. It was removed from the bill. The service was very professional and was able to convince me to eat at the Brewhouse a second time. I'll sign up for my next reservation and give you another chance to give it my all.

Tasty burger and chicken cordon blue! We split both and they were very yummy! Nice interior. Warm and welcoming. Friendly service with good beer selections.

What a beautiful brewery! The food was excellent, the service was super friendly! The service staff also knows their way around beer. It has plenty of parking options. The area is still under development - almost an insider tip and difficult to find because you can't drive past it. I'd love to come back!

Unfortunately not as great as before. The food is nothing special and rather expensive. The service is difficult to judge, everything from "very good" to "unusable" has already been experienced. The beers are still unbeatable and the garden on the Glatt between the houses is also great.

I went to Brewhouse for lunch with my wife on a beautiful Saturday. I really liked the restaurant, but due to the weather we sat outside, which was okay. The menu offers a great selection of beers (of course also other drinks) and food. At first we were served in a friendly manner, the order was taken, then unfortunately things went south. We waited a full hour for our food. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but the two service staff paid us absolutely no attention. When the food finally came, it was placed on the table without comment. The food was good, nothing exceptional. We had nothing to complain about. We didn't feel valued at all as guests, which for me is simply part of good service.

Very tasty to eat and even better to drink. The menu is not overwhelming but what comes out of the kitchen is very good. The beer menu is also impressive. Service was competent and very nice. The atmosphere (outside) was very relaxed despite the unfamiliar elevated tracks. Was fun. Gladly again

A bit expensive! Well prepared dishes, nice but a bit too brisk service (waiter). I didn't like the atmosphere in the backyard with only tall industrial buildings and under the bridge.

EDIT: Unfortunately I have to deduct a few stars from the Brewhouse. The food is now mediocre at best. Many products now come from frozen foods or bags (probably to save costs in the wrong place). The prices are definitely no longer appropriate. A pity. Beer and location are still good. Original review: I always enjoy coming to the Brewhouse and can happily recommend it to others. The food is of a high culinary standard and the bar menu leaves nothing to be desired. In addition, the staff is always friendly, even when the cozy terrace is full.

Looks great, friendly staff. But please please turn off these enormous outdoor lights when you close at 10 p.m.? The entire square is illuminated brilliantly, even at 1:00 a.m.! If you could please turn it off at the end of the day, that would be great. Greetings to the residents directly on site ;)

Found this place on a random Google. Brew their own beers. Enjoyed a pint of Urban with a light lunch in the spacious beer garden. Highly recommended.

Edit: i used to really like this place and i still think few of the staff members are very nice. But the general service for last three visits was a tremendously bad experience, with an extremely rude staff even while taking the order, as if we are definitely not welcome. They also asked us to "be not loud" even in outdoor sitting, when we are just having a laugh with some friends. Additionally, they chose to clearly ignore other group which was loud, because well, we were people of color. Old review: Beautiful location, great nachos and finger foods. Also amazing variety of beers.

There was only 1 serving staff, that's why taking order and service are so slowly. He was so friendly and a good working person, but I thought if there were some more staffs. Food is tasty but a little bit salty for me.

Unfortunately, I have to revise my original rating slightly downwards. Price-performance ratio is still not right. The food is okay, but nothing more. What doesn't work for me, however, is how unfriendly one of the service employees treated us. She would have saved the comment that "next time I should put the cutlery so that you can see that I've finished eating" - just like the rather harsh and unfriendly manner. I can't tell whether the lady just had a bad day or whether it was due to her personal conversation culture. However, I expect a more adapted behavior on this side of the border (and this is not meant in a derogatory way).

Pleasant indoor and outdoor space. Be careful when asking for water. They charged 6fr for a glass of tap water.

Nice beer and food. We don’t know why but felt the waitress might not like us in the restaurant. (We definitely felt the difference between how she served us and the table next to us.)

-- Craft beer is good. Some people don't understand the difference between beer and mass HGB "beer". It's pity, because sometimes they pay too much in a pub for such a mass tasteless beer (such mass "beers" should only be drunk cold, because above 4°C they smell bad). I support small breweries and I think in Switzerland there are tasty beers from such breweries. I like Hardwald Lager bier. -- The price of food. Someone here wrote the food is expensive. In my opinion, it is here in good quality and tasty. Maybe the price is high because the products are BIO, but maybe the owner of this restaurant will explain it here. -- Service. There are different people and different characters. For me it's better because it's not boring. Service is OK for me. I am the guest here ... and I show it here (I'm not scared), then the contact between the customer and the bartenders is OK. Even if the bartender doesn't smile, I will not cry and whine like a baby. -- What can be improved? There is a 0.3 beer and large beer. Maybe add 0.2 too? It would be good play some music from the 80s and early 90s sometimes (House, Pop and Rock). -- I give 5 stars.

The restaurant, atmosphere, the team, staff and delicious food. Simply great. You can find all types of beer for everyone. The food is very fine, you can tell that it is freshly prepared. I think the varied menu is very good. Above all, it always changes from season to season and the price/performance is still top. Great place to grab a drink and some food after work or to meet a friend. The prices of the drinks are reasonable and the music is never too loud. This bar has a really nice ambience and I would definitely recommend it!

A restaurant with a great atmosphere. Large beer selection. Small menu but good selection. I would like to emphasize that the food is served on preheated plates. Requests for food orders are fulfilled. Also important for allergy sufferers. The dishes are beautifully presented so that the eyes can also eat. Last but not least, the very friendly, courteous and attentive staff should be mentioned. All in all, I can highly recommend this restaurant. We'd love to come back.

Cool atmosphere with a great selection of beers. Service varies in level of friendliness depending on the day and time. Unfortunately, our last visit was marred by the fact that we had to pay 9.50 francs for a carafe of syrup. This is just embarrassing!

There were 3 of us. Staff polite but relaxed, charming and funny. The food was just great! Great creations, beautifully served. From the decoration to the cutlery, it's beautifully coordinated and you immediately feel at home. The beers and shots were very good, unfortunately I wasn't able to try any more cocktails, but I'll definitely do that on my next visit! All in all just TOP!

The restaurant itself is well placed and nicely decorated, even if I think the prices are a bit too high and the price-performance ratio is not optimal. However, I went there several times until it was ruined for me by an employee, most likely a German (not meant to be racist), who turned me away from the table. Very unfriendly and unaccommodating and an uncomfortable atmosphere that you don't want to be in, really disgusting. It's a shame because I enjoyed going there.

Very great atmosphere, the whole restaurant is very modern and looks nice. The staff is extremely friendly and competent. The food is also excellent, especially the gazpacho and the burger are highly recommended. The only drawback is that the drink bottles are a bit difficult to pour.

Very great atmosphere, but unfortunately a bit inflexible. When asked if we could have a mixed portion instead of a portion of “just” parmesan or “just” olives, the answer was simply no. It's not entirely understandable why this shouldn't be possible, it's not more of the quantity, but simply half as much of both...?

It was a cozy Geburi party with a fine dinner. Staff was very friendly!
