Thank you Michael for the very fine fish soup, it was awesome, nice service, fair prices and everything was perfect..

The fish (salmon and baked perch fillets) was excellent, but the side salad with the salmon was completely without dressing/seasoning, unfortunately a bit bland. The ambience is OK, but nothing special. I found the service to be friendly but not attentive. Overall I expected more.

Everything is fresh, the fish is delicious and there is a beautiful view of the Faulensee. Reservation of a table is necessary because there are a lot of customers who appreciate the quality and the place. I recommend it.

We have been guests 4 times in the last 4 months. The service is very good. The food is also good to very good. Personally, I have the feeling that the standard of food is not always the same. It's good, but we had the situation twice in the summer when it was brilliant and fantastic 6 out of 5 stars 👌🏻, yesterday 4 out of 5. Ambiance on the terrace 👌🏻.

Fantastic location right on the lake with a wonderful view. The service was friendly and attentive but not pushy. For dinner we had a fish menu with good cream soup, delicious fish, dessert and also white wine. Everything was delicious and worth the money.

My impressions: Portions too big, but not as good in taste and too expensive. Service was good and quick.

Good service, wonderful ambience and great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the children's coupes (treasure chests) are absolutely overpriced in relation to the very, very meager contents. It's a shame, but maybe there's something else...

Don’t believe the comments, the owner seems to be Ukrainian, and a complete loser, rude, etc., thank God I didn’t try the food there, I didn’t have time. Advice to avoid this place. (and if you don’t like my review, then I’ll ask that crazy woman to write to me, and I’ll remind her why I posted such a review.)

We were there spontaneously and were lucky to get a table, it was very busy. Great location with a view of the lake, fantastic. Food was as requested, very tasty. You could tell the stress in the staff, but everyone was very friendly I can recommend it👍

Good place to visit by own or public boat

Perfect evening with my partner: - Parking space in front of the main entrance - Reservation request (table for 2 by the water) was taken into account - Service friendly, attentive and funny - very good wine recommendation - Starter (leaf salad) served quickly and good. Slightly large portions for an appetizer... - Main course (whitefish fillet, fish pan) immediately afterwards, side dish request (fries instead of fried potatoes) implemented without any fuss. Both dishes were excellent in terms of taste and presentation. - welcome break until the dessert question. - Dessert mini coupe. A bit much here too: "Mini" means two balls instead of three... one would have been enough (at least for us).. But it was still delicious :D This is how we imagine a good, cozy dinner in a restaurant. We'd love to come back!

Been there again for a long time. The fish was great and the portion was generous. The location on the lake is of course priceless. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was absolutely fine.

Location is great, service is impeccable. Food solid, but lacking sophistication.

We had reservations for 6 p.m. Since we got back from hiking a little early, we asked to park at 5 p.m. so we could take a quick swim in the lake. Both the parking lot and the restaurant were practically empty. Completely incomprehensible, we weren't allowed to park the car in the restaurant parking lot. Common sense and hospitality are completely missing in this restaurant! To top it all off, a hornet ended up in our wine glass. The service completely ignored this and so we could only drink half of the wine we ordered. An evening full of incredulous shaking of the head.

Highly recommended! Good food that is beautifully presented. Very nice service staff I ate by far the best roast beef there. The meat was well seasoned and freshly cut. Definitely worth a visit!

A higher category fish restaurant directly on Lake Thun. Reservations are strongly recommended, ideally in summer on the beautiful outdoor terrace with a wonderful panoramic view. The food isn't exactly cheap, but the quality of the fish dishes is really excellent! My personal highlight is the chef's fish soup. (see video)

We were at the restaurant last week on a lovely summer day just to have coffee. By midday the croissants were sold out. The very nice waitress then offered us delicious olive bread, which we were able to enjoy with very good coffee. This restaurant amazed us and we are happy to come back to eat based on the reviews.

Once again wonderful. The terrace by the water is magical, the service is competent and very friendly, and the food is top notch.

So far everything was ok, the service wasn't quite up to par, but since it was Mother's Day and the restaurant had very close tables, this was almost to be expected.......it was a shame that the apple strudel was ice cold, that That's not allowed... but we'll definitely come back again

On a beautiful day in a beautiful place. Great meal. Good service. Price/performance good.

Very divided impression. Of course a wonderful location if you have reserved and are sitting right on the lake. Sometimes very nice service (by several people), sometimes unfriendly and stressed. You notice: no time, terrace full - nice weather. Wine recommendation was more like an order. Our questions were ignored. The tartare sauce was already placed on the partially sunny table before the starter! It doesn't work at all. And it wasn't edible (finished product?) baked either Fish ok but bland. In addition, the time between the salad and the main course was far too long, so we had to ask. Desserts well..ok. Unfortunately, our lunch didn't live up to the full-bodied promises on the homepage not fair. A pity! It would also be time to renovate the toilets.

Expectations rise with the price. 80.- per person with salad, main course, dessert and coffee is an announcement. Unfortunately we are very disappointed. Fish drowned in watery saffron “sauce” with 3 mussels and 2 rock-hard shrimps, elastic fries or a coconut pannacotta without taste (no, we didn’t have Corona). In addition, the first page of the menu points out how important guest satisfaction is. Our feedback was not addressed. The food as a whole was not very refined and a snack bar could achieve the same or even better quality. Really hope all products are local (fish).

We had dinner here last night. The restaurant is located on the lake: a magnificent view and a beautiful atmosphere at sunset. We ate salmon and lake fish, both excellent and carefully prepared. We got there around 6:45pm after a scorching hot Saturday. We had an excellent meal on the shady and very pleasant terrace. Very pleasant service and very nice location by the lake. A perfect end to the day and highly recommended.

A year ago I was able to give it 4 stars with a clear conscience for the service, price-performance and the fine food. Unfortunately, during our last visit, several things were no longer right: the first service employee was friendly, assigned us the seat and brought the card. 1 minute later the waiter wanted to take the order. After 5 minutes a third waitress came, but she wasn't interested in whether we wanted an aperitif or a starter. The food and portions were ok. - but after that nobody cared about us anymore. It was more important to put away the umbrellas and seat cushions (around 8:15 p.m.!) than to ask if we wanted dessert or coffee. But the worst thing was the cleanliness in the toilets. It does get damp from time to time, but there were black spots in the corners and under the partitions and the smell didn't really indicate cleanliness.

Very well-kept fish cuisine, attentive service and an absolute top location on the lakeshore. Thank you very much, I'd love to come back!

The French mussels were really delicious, the staff were attentive and the sunset over the lake was magnificent! Nothing like it to end a good weekend.

As always, top service and great food and dessert. Add to that the fantastic view.

The food didn't taste good. The passion is missing and the prices are much more expensive than the quality you offer. A thin woman with brown hair and dark eyes served us and she was not friendly. The service also needs to be improved.
