When you arrive in Spiez after the Adelboden Ski World Cup, the crew warmly welcomes you. The spaghetti was really good, a greeting from the kitchen was as friendly as the entire service. Great value for money!

I've eaten very good cordon bleu there several times, but last time I had a great saddle of venison. It was like a dream. There is also a nice selection of wines and friendly service...

Definitely one of the best meals in Switzerland! There is a very fragrant and delicious spicy bean soup (pepper is very spicy ~) and we couldn’t help but ask the hostess for the recipe, it was a thumbs up 👍 There is no extra sauce on the potato pancakes, the crispiness, butter and salty flavor are just right, I like it 👍 For the cordon bleu pork chop, I ordered the classic cheese + ham flavor based on the boss’s recommendation. It was huge and juicy, and it was always juicy and delicious! Like it so much 👍 On the rainy Christmas Eve, add two glasses of beer 🍻 and Ban Niang’s home-brewed wine, it’s very, very happy☺️

Nice restaurant, large portions for the price. Clean appearance, whether guest room, stairs and toilets. Friendly service, but most importantly the food tastes on point. Visit us and taste it yourself.

I went there because there were no restaurants nearby. If possible, I recommend going somewhere else.

The best meal; so far in Switzerland. The pork cordon blue was crispy. Just the way I like it. The mash potatoes were very good, my wife ate more of them then here own dinner.

My wife and I both had Cordon Bleu and they were amazing. Great size serving both left feeling stuffed, great flavour. Staff were very nice and accommodating, very helpful with English as we don't speak German. Can't speak highly enough of our experience. Young lady with Glasses was an amazing host

Spaghetti is really delicious with half portion but being enough full, the creme and cheese are so good . Meals are no more salty. We got a free appetizer with gummy potatoes and chicken. Waiter and waitress are friendly and helpful.

Very friendly welcome in this restaurant, recently renovated I think. The cuisine is really very good and we will come back. The dishes are generously served and there are plenty of sides to choose from at no extra charge. We can recommend the roasting sauce with onion sauce and one of the many cordon bleus. The restaurant was quiet on this rainy Saturday. The tables are well spaced which allows for sufficient seating. A must-visit address if you are in the region!

Fondue was great but the owner had a dog face during the whole dinner because there was a misunderstanding in the reservation time... Too bad!

I was with my son and his friends to try typical Swiss food. With a fondue for 2 people we were able to eat 4. We had a hard time finishing it. Then we also ordered a rüsti and the cordon bleau. Also a potato soup with cheese because one of the girls was sick. All very rich and "very Swiss". I would give it a but and that is that the fondue had too much pepper....

Great map that is designed according to the seasons. At the moment various Rösti, delicious and well made. The crown is also recommended for a great Cordon Bleu. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. Always happy to come.

Very nice service and a nice selection on the menu, including regional products. We ate a fine Rösti and before that an excellent saffron soup. Our dog was immediately given a bowl of water, which we always appreciated.

Atmosphere special, but still cool, more comfortable in the front part of the restaurant than in the back of the hall. Cordon bleu are their specialty, I think it's great that these can be chosen with chicken or pork, in some variations. My Mexico Cordonbleu should have had chorizo ​​in it, but unfortunately it didn't (the taste was fine). Fries were well seasoned, but soggy, so only 3 stars. I find the price to be quite expensive depending on what is offered on the menu.

Friendly welcome. Food à la cart for 12 people actually all received at the same time. Plates were prepared hot. Cozy atmosphere and not too many visitors. Dogs welcome. Orbi's performance is right. Cordone bleu is a specialty and is recommended. Gladly again.

The Restaurant Krone Spiez was a great choice for a delicious cheese fondue made with Emmental cheese & a crisp glass of Fendant wine! Cosy atmosphere, welcoming staff, good quality-price.

The service was prompt and friendly. That was it. The prices are massively exaggerated for the spaghetti carousel. As two adults who normally survive on just under 250g of spaghetti together, we had to order a refill for CHF7 and even that wasn't enough. There were a total of 3 small plates each. At least we were able to try the sauces, which were quite okay. Edit: What the innkeeper doesn't mention. These are grams of spaghetti cooked and soaked with water. The neighboring table also had a problem with the small amount. The criticism was voiced from both tables in the restaurant and fell on deaf ears. Accordingly, I consider the assessment to be fair.

The waitress was so nice- literally the best service we felt so bad that we paid with card and didn’t have any francs to tip her. We got a free mini pasta that was so fresh and delicious. I got a local wine that was good, too. Throughout the meal, she was so prompt and knowledgeable about the menu. Also the view from the patio is great!

Went there today for 2 for 1. We got the place we wanted, enough time to choose, a wonderful amuse-bouche, great food, a delicious dessert and generally friendly and attentive service. Those present today did their job very well and understood why such an appearance in a voucher book can have an impact. It was our first (!!!) time, where we were served very well despite the "2 for 1 booklet". We will come back and recommend you. Bravo!

We were there on April 5th. in the Krone and were served by a very friendly team. The meal was delicacies from start to finish. Regardless of whether it was the Cordonbleu, the Röschti, or the Spiez Rum Crème, it was an evening to enjoy. The Kröneschnäpsli to round it off was a dream. Many thanks to the Krone team, we are already looking forward to the next time.

We went from Canada to this restaurant in 2021 August & 2022 March. This is a best restaurant, their service, food quality and atmosphere was out of words, really excellent. Last year when we went there was 3 ladies served us , they are very friendly and family like restaurant. Very traditional way service. This year our sever was Martina and her service was excellent. She was friendly and very hard working lady. Honeslty these days its very hard to see good customer focused serivce but in this restaurant you will never fail to see a good customer serivce and very tasty food. We actually travelled to spiez this year to just to dine in here.

Food was great and the customer service was even better. Everything we tried was really good.

They have a menu in English and they speak it quite well, so it's easy to understand each other. The waitress is also very friendly. I had a Cordon Bleu accompanied by fries. On the menu it said that they charge you 5CHF for cutlery, but they didn't charge me for it, and yet they did charge me for a glass of water at 2.5CHF. The food was good but a bit salty. Everything you see in the photo cost me 29 CHF.

Absolutely loved this place! The staff were really nice. I loved that they had a English menu, making it so much easier for me and my family. The food was very delicious, we all had soup and a basic marinara spaghetti, it was simple but sooo good and affordable. Plus they gave us a little extra noodle sampler which was a very nice surprise. Would definitely come back if I ever visit Spiez again

The restaurant has a wide variety of dishes. You can find local cuisine (the goat stew was delicious) as well as more conventional dishes. The staff is welcoming and provided us with an english menu.
