A small, extremely fine bakery that looks like an oasis in the hectic Aeschenplatz. Here you can get excellent, fine baked goods and good coffee. Very friendly staff who take good care of their guests. There is one table inside and three tables outside, each for a maximum of 2 people. You can relax here while the film is playing around it.

I had here a sadly bad customer service. I use to pass by this cafe from time to time and order one take away tea. Last Tuesday they served me half-water and when I asked the lady if she could add a little bit more water (it’s a tea, usually it is 2/3) she told me “this will be a double tea”. I told her I just wanna “ ein bisschen mehr wasser, bitte“ (in my super poor german), so she took my cup, put more water and charged me 8chf...2 cups of Tea. This is a very unfare decission she made as I was not using extra milk, sugar or tea, neither cup or spoon, I just wanted the proper amount of water.

Service is always in a good mood, even in the morning peak time. Bravo. Always happy to come back.

Here you can find the finest “summits” in Basel. A little expensive but everything is actually very tasty and of high quality. The service is always friendly.

Super fine sweets and extremely attentive service. I'll definitely come back there.
