Everything is tip top! Patient and energetic service. Food very good! Cordon bleu are great! The volume level is borderline, but you don't come here to chat 😉

We have wanted to go to Hermannseck for a long time, where there is a lot of fine food, specialties and much more. Various wood-fired pizzas and a large selection of Cordonbleus, which we wanted to try. We received a warm welcome and prompt, attentive and friendly service. Luckily we had reserved a table, and at 8:30 p.m. all tables were quickly occupied. It is a relatively simple but beautifully furnished neighborhood restaurant (also a small garden in summer). For the starter we chose a very fine Barchetta on pizza dough and a nice nut salad with egg, then a month's worth of Cordon Bleu and an Appenzeller Cordonbleu, with the waiter recommending a bottle of Loatum Roja red wine - it was a very tasty meal, the starter was very good Original, the Cordonbleus were richly stuffed and fried very crispy and the recommended Spanish red wine rounded the whole thing off perfectly - everything tasted great. The great surprise was when paying, the fine food and good wine cost for 2 people. fair Fr. 124.00. We can only recommend this restaurant - everything is TOP. We admired the pizzas on the next table, we will try them next time.

We had dinner with a group of 11 people and ordered 9 different meals. Without exception, everyone was very satisfied with the quality, quantity, service and hospitality. Simply good. Keep it up.

The Hermannseck was already very popular in the pre-reunification period. Particularly privileged people had and have a property there. Let's hope that the operator can survive with a good menu. Just coffee and cake won't be enough, I think it was appropriate for the season!

The Cordon Bleu is the BEST I have ever eaten. Very juicy and tender. The taste is very, very intense. The filling was great! Had the Glarner Cordon Bleu, which is a bit spicy. Just great!

Thank you very much for your uncomplicated manner, 2 additional people and we pulled out all the stops to ensure there was enough space! We were late because of the traffic jam...but that wasn't a problem either, friendly, attentive service, super nice and large portions, thank you, we'll be happy to come back!

The right place if you want a really good Cordonbleue. Numerous variations are available to suit every appetite. I can only recommend. A highlight in Winti.

A great and big Wiener Schnitzel. Also the Gordon Blues are delicious. They have over 20 different ones to choose from. The staff is very nice and friendly. The restaurant is a bit old school, but that's ok.

The Cordonbleus are great, the service was also very friendly. Top price and performance ratio. The store is obviously popular. Monday evening and packed. 😁 Parking spaces in front of the restaurant are scarce, but you can find a space in the area. 😏

The food was great, no question. We - 6 people - had a reservation at 6 p.m. on a Saturday. We were there on time. We were seated, given menu cards... after that until 6:35 p.m. nothing happened. Nada. I went to the staff to ask if they would at least serve us drinks. The waitress came friendly and our orders were taken promptly. The food or 5 menus arrived at 7:06 p.m., the last menu was simply forgotten. So we couldn't eat together. When we had finished eating around 7:30 p.m., the owner/manager came to us and asked us if we wanted to stay in the restaurant for a long time??!!!! We had just finished eating and our plates weren't even cleared away. The reason was: there were still a lot of people waiting outside. Add to that the lack of cutlery, noise and little space and the prices/performance are no longer right. Don't come back Thank you

Was at Hermannseck for dinner today. I really enjoyed the schnitzel with fries, as did the focachia as a starter. Even though we hadn't made a reservation and the Lokas was very busy, they tried very hard to offer us a table. The staff was very friendly, we would like to come back.

If you want a decent local or are looking for a hearty meal and still white clothed tables (in the dining area), give this place a go.

I like Cordon Bleus, I only ordered cheese spaetzlis with Bölläschweize and applesauce at Hermannseck. Divine, just too much for me, the Wienerschnitzel, crispy, the fries fresh and crispy, the mixed salad was also fresh and crunchy and the French sauce was creamy and not vinegar-heavy, my counterpart would order the pumpkin soup again. Everything was right, the simple restaurant, still a real neighborhood pub, is known for its more than 20 different Cordon Bleus which are served with salad. Further supplements on request. It's a shame that there is only ice cream for dessert. I recommend making a reservation and coming back, there is a Cordon Bleu. Even though the store was packed and we arrived quite late, we didn't have to wait long. The staff is very good and everyone helps. Chapeau. The diverse selection, including pizzas from the wood-fired oven, is very affordable.

Solidly cooked food, no matter what you order. Reservation is highly recommended as it is always very busy. The staff is friendly, and in summer there are also 5 stars for the ambience, thanks to the garden terrace, which is not necessarily to be expected in this location.

Rural place with great variety and delicious Cordon Blue. They also have other dishes like Pizza and Swiss food but most of the people come for the Cordon Blue. Just beware of busy days like Fridays and Saturdays as the wait can take some time. However, it is totally worth it.

Everything we ate was very good, the only thing I recommend that you reserve, we went without a reservation and had to wait. Although the food was worth it, we ate three types of cordon blue and any of the three were very good

Small mixed salad: leaf lettuce with a slice of cucumber, some cabbage strips and a few carrots. Pizza was just ok (nothing special). Ambience: we were in the small hall. We could hardly understand each other because it was full. It took too long before we could pay. The restaurant was full, but that's no excuse. We won't be back for a long time.

We had reserved and were given a seat in the far corner. Other people were asked whether they wanted to sit outside or inside, which wasn't the case for us. The salad tasted good, but the meat was too salty. I've only heard positive things about the restaurant, but I have to say there are better ones.

Great food. Huge portions at a very fair price! Nevertheless, one star less because of the noise in the restaurant and the service. Unfortunately, groups of 10 or more cannot be cashed in individually due to an “outdated cashier system”.

We had cordon bleu which were great. The French salad sauce is awesome.

We made a reservation by phone on Thursday evening, and although the lady on the phone confirmed the reservation for Saturday evening three times, we were sent away on Saturday with the explanation that there was no reservation in my name, even though my name is not difficult. We weren't offered another table so we had to leave! This is very annoying and an absolute no go! NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!

On the road from Winterthur towards Technorama I have often noticed Hermannseck. The many different Cordon Bleus lured me in too. The many different pizzas also appealed to me. The restaurant is "just" a neighborhood pub - you can tell that from the decor, which is simple but good. This also gives it a certain cozy charm. However, the food wasn't "just" a neighborhood pub. I had a Zug Cordon Bleu with anchovies and capers. A "special" combination, but very tasty. The homemade spaetzli, made from organic spelled dough, are also very good. The restaurant itself made a clean impression. "Unfortunately" I didn't go to the toilet, so I can't say anything about how or whether it was clean there. The Cordon Bleu cost 28 francs, which is totally fine. I've eaten much worse elsewhere for more money :) There wasn't the slightest thing to complain about in terms of service either - friendly and quick. What more do you want? For me too, the conclusion is: I'll go there again.

I thought the food was actually quite good. But everything else: Unfortunately it became very expensive. Portions have become smaller. The price-performance ratio is simply no longer right. Waiting times have become even longer. Staff and service have become worse.
