Did not expect a ghost-kitchen with tables! Anyway, smashed burger was 5 stars, then I had the very bad idea of taking a Tiramisù outside of Italy, it was very bad. They used an amaretto liquor that was very very strong and it looked like the Tiramisù was done many hours before.

The food is good, but the prices are ridiculous for what it is. 25 francs for one burger where the buns are dried out? Come on. Happy to pay this if it’s a gourmet speciality, not street food.

Hamburgers really great, but no vegetarian options! Ordering automated via iPad. Not recommended to eat there because of loud music and lots of ubereats walk-ins. Plastic knife --> difficult in many ways

“Probably the best smash burger I've ever had” was what my friends and I said to each other after eating one at Hey Buddy. The bun is exceptional: soft but well structured. Overall the burger is really tasty, if only the bacon was crispier it would be perfect. The chips are a touch of class: really good, crunchy and salted just right. I come from Italy and I don't know when or if I'll return to Basel but if it happens, the first thing I'll do is pop in here to try one of their fantastic smash burgers!

I've always been skeptical about ordering burgers & fries to my home because, in my opinion, they should be eaten straight away and are no longer fresh after a short time - especially if you don't get them first when they're delivered. Unfortunately this was also the case with Hey Buddy: I ​​tried the burger twice now and unfortunately the patty and bun were a bit cold and soggy. I'm sure it will be very tasty if eaten immediately.

Yesterday we were at the local restaurant, Essen. The cuisine and service was very quick. The food was very good, only the smash burger was a bit lacking in the smash crust. The Mac and Cheese Balls were in a league of their own. The prices are rather high, but the quality is high and tasty.

We ordered food… And we waited for a long time, when we checked the app again, the restaurant canceled our order (WITHOUT ANY MESSAGE)… Shortly afterwards we got a phone call from a woman who was really nice, she mistakenly got our food… Great evening… Thanks for nothing Hey Buddy… Gladly NEVER again..

Your burgers are really great. It tastes amazing, fresh, nice and juicy and you can adjust your burger when ordering if you don't like onions, for example. Also only takes 15 minutes. 🔥🔥🔥

Fine burgers at HeyBuddy, good nuggets and mac'n'cheese balls. The order is placed via iPad. This location is the Food Hero delivery service, so dishes from other restaurants are also available to order. There are a few tables outside and about 3 tables inside.

Tasty amazing smashed burger! It’s not designed for dining in, more for orders online or take away, but they have tables and clean. Service was very polite, order by touchpad and pay your order. Recommend it!

Mac & cheese balls 5/5 Fries with cheese sauce 5/5 Jalapeno poppers 5/5 Bacon Buddy Burger 3/5 Onion Buddy Burger 3/5 The special thing about the smashed burger, i.e. the crust, was missing a bit. The meat could also be seasoned more. However, the side dishes were super tasty and we would order them again.

A really delicious smash burger. Unfortunately, it feels like the only one that offers Smashburgers, although in my opinion Smashburgers taste a lot better. The waffle fries and nuggets were also extremely tasty. I can really recommend Hey Buddy to everyone.

Flavor of the meat is really good, different texture because it’s smash burger. Not perfect for my taste, I find the buns are a bit too dry, which could maybe add more sauce to compensate. Other than that. Good burger to enjoy!

The burger is a 10/10! Absolutely love the crispy patties 😊 One crucial critique: they NEED to change its sizing of the sides. Very disappointing how a handful of sweet potatoes cost almost 10CHF - half as much as the burger itself. Pricing is well done, but sizing went wrong for sure. Hope this review helps the business and I will definitely enjoy the burger in the future also.

Great burgers. The rolls are awesome. Unfortunately, ordering on the tablet is a bit confusing and you can't clearly see which burgers are offered where. Today we even got a cheesecake on the house for the second time, definitely the best burger shop here in Basel 😍

Burger and fries were good, but not worth the price for sure. Regardless it is a decent place to dine in with friends once in a while, I'm sure you won't be disappointed by the food.

Great burgers Wouldn't eat in the restaurant itself as it's quite busy due to the couriers. Staff is friendly & the order was prepared quickly.

Stinky cheeky restaurant I ordered an order via Ubereats after my first courier arrived at the restaurant, the courier called me and informed me that the restaurant had already passed my food on to a third person (not an Uber driver). The restaurant is obliged to properly check the order, which they did not do. So my order continued on Ubereats until another courier accepted the order again. The second courier worked hard to have my food made again and he delivered my order to me. The food was not prepared with love. Never again..!

So there are many burger shops in Basel but this one is in my top 3. Simply brilliant!
