Holy Cow! Gourmet Burger Co. in Lausanne

03.31.2024 first discovery of the Holy Cow label. Order placed via a famous home delivery platform. The order was delivered quickly, everything was still hot and well packaged, labeled. In terms of quality of the food, the whole thing was very good, the meat with a good barbecue taste. We were very satisfied with this discovery and will surely return to one of these Holy Cow restaurants.

Fast service and excellent fries. Unfortunately the burger arrived barely lukewarm!

I tried the veggie burger at Holy Cow and I was more than won over! The fries are arguably the best in the region, and their Lime Basil Mayo sauce is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend you try them, you will not be disappointed!

My cousin ordered from them via Uber Eats, we just got the wrong address in the same city, when we went to change the address it was supposedly not served by their restaurant with Uber Eats, so we didn't We had no choice but to cancel the order. My sister with her cell phone placed EXACTLY the same order right after and strangely it worked!!! We were forced to pay for the menus (without delivery and service fees) because apparently they had already started??? We canceled 5 minutes later!!! The steaks probably weren't even cooked!! It’s really nonsense 😡 Best of all, they don't even answer the phone. Really 0 for HolyCow, I am very disappointed they were recommended to me so much, it was the first and last time I eat or order them. 0 Understanding on their part. Be careful, even human error cannot be tolerated.

Their fries and burger (Mexicano) are succulent, the portions more than generous. I agree and I love it!! I prefer BK at the moment, really gourmet👌🏾

Ok burgers, good fries. Burgers could def use some more sauce or flavor but they were fine. Def not "gourmet" but we enjoyed anyway.

The essential Burgers from Holy Cow. I usually get the Big Cheese menu, but there are plenty of original Burgers to try! There are also local drinks, and also the usual drinks such as coke, cold tea, etc. The restaurant is rather large, there is space between the tables, there are high tables and low tables. Sauces are available at will (unlike McDonald's). In addition, there is the possibility of buying a cup and drinking unlimited drinks at the self-service station.

One of the best burgers we’ve had ever! We definitely recommend it, the service was quick and restaurant seems popular.

Surprisingly massive burgers and excellent fries. The dressing/accoutrements/what validates the variety in the burgers was a bit lacking to be honest and left the whole thing feeling a bit dry, which is not helped by a delicious bun that just happens to be rather thick and dense.

Excellent burger, but terrible service. I ordered at 10 p.m. and had to wait until 10:45 p.m., 45 minutes late. Note that I had to personally inform them that my order was still not served. The surprise was total when I saw them in the kitchen, without any activity and telling me to wait another 5 minutes, which turned into 10 minutes... An execrable experience.

The burgers are delicious, and the quality of the ingredients is excellent. However, on Uber Eats, each menu is already 4 to 5 francs more expensive than in a restaurant. I paid 3.90 francs for extra chicken, but was only given half a piece. This is disappointing, I hope this doesn't happen to all your customers. Before paying for extra chicken, think twice.

Generally bad cheese burger... meat seems reheated rather than freshly cooked and had a strange texture and no taste. Fries were pretty good..

As in all the Holy Cows I've been to, it was perfect, served quickly by pleasant staff. Super good hamburger and fries that need no introduction, they are so good. The only downside was the self-service syrups, which were so sweet that they were undrinkable. An easy detail to adjust.

A friendly, no-frills restaurant. Burgers and fries that look in better shape than those from traditional fast-food chains. Lots of choice and several types of meat. Possibility of using syrup as desired. Relatively consistent. Large room inside, a few tables outside (but overlooking a fairly noisy street). On the other hand, most of the tables in the interior room have benches, so no backrests.

Did not like my burger that much but that might have been my fault since I don't typically like BBQ sauce. That being said the quality all sempt alright not great. Service was nice and the atmosphere was definitely better than what you would find at a McDonald's. Also good price.

Really good value for money for Switzerland. Burger patty wasn’t the highest quality but with the meal deal there was the option for unlimited refills of certain drinks and a large serving of chips.

So dispointed: Food is so salty and drinks ( sirup) are too sweet. It is harmful for your health to eat like that.

The food was good, I found the service lousy as if they didn’t really care. The French fries were the best food on the menu. The meat tasted processed.

21.90 francs for a menu is way too expensive when: - the waiter is half asleep - the hamburger is cold on the inside - the syrup is undrinkable because of how sweet it is

Very good value for money - limited choice of burger but very good - the fries are homemade you can feel the difference. If you want to change McDonald's for almost the same price, don't hesitate to go to Holly Cow. You place your order at the counter and we will bring what you ordered to the table. We were served quite quickly. For the drinks menu of your choice. I recommend unlimited syrups and unusual flavors.

I discovered a Swiss Burger. Food from the region, fresh, cooked on site. I digested my meal well. Consumed without moderation.

The atmosphere is good and the food is also very good. I am quite disappointed compared to other stores of the same “holy cow” brand. The food was good but it wasn't the same as the other franchise I had tried, the oil on the fries felt a little old. The burgers per se are good and so is the drink. The atmosphere in comparison with another establishment of the same brand or franchise, once again and for the sake of redundancy, seemed old or half-baked. The worst impression was that THEY DON'T HAVE AIR CONDITIONING, so you eat a hamburger at 40 degrees Celsius in the air and if you get the table near the kitchen you have a bad time. I don't even want to imagine what it must be like to work in that kitchen in the summer. I will definitely return to the franchise to that particular location, I don't know, maybe they will restructure it.

Quality burgers. Fast and helpful service. I had discovered this restaurant chain in Friborg and I had to try the one in Lausanne. If you are a fan of this type of food, don't hesitate. Apart from the quality, the prices are affordable.

To be honest I expected better taste for the burger. I took a cheeseburger menu for 17 francs something. The meat was undercooked and tastes like a tartare more than a burger. The fries are so hard and without salt. I couldn't finish it eventhough I was so hungry... The guys working there are smiling and welcoming but I can't recommend a place just because the staff are kind. Sorry guys but the burger sucks.

Tried the beef burger, it was delicious and had the tastiest bacon without the caramelized onions. They were quick to order.

Very good restaurant that can be found everywhere in Switzerland. Quality, local burgers, lots of choice. The only thing I complain about is sometimes the lack of fries on the menus. Otherwise very reasonable even in terms of price, there is even a student menu.

I ordered, I waited well beyond the deadline. HolyCow support absolutely does not want to talk to you. It's a combox in any case, with NO ability to talk to a human, regardless of the options. The order never arrived. IMPORTANT: The next day, almost 24 hours after ordering, I found my order in front of my door. The ice cream was completely liquid and the meat warm, and it seems that the delivery man kept the order at home between the day before and the next day! This is unheard of. IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT HOLYCOW, let alone UberEats. There is no telephone number. I had to throw everything in the trash. It's incredible and lamentable.

Well done for the service! After a delivery error, I showed them that something was missing from my order. They did it again with a little extra gift. Honestly top of the line! The team ;) good

I've eaten the ELVIS BLUE CHEESE and it has been amazing! The first bite was just an explosion of flavors, really really good and for a good price :)

I was excited to try this place, but sadly I was let down. The meat was way over processed, the food was very bland. I took two bites and walked out. I hate to say it but Five Guys around the corner does a better job. Steer clear of Holy Cow!

I give 3 stars for the kindness of the girl who took the order and the fries. I ordered a big beef menu, but I couldn't eat it because it had a very strong smell and taste of bacon. As I don't eat pork even if I forced myself, it wasn't possible..

Passing through Lausanne with my wife, I have passed this restaurant several times and each time not had time to go and eat, but today we had a little time. I wanted to see the menu outside the restaurant... nothing so I opened the door and there was a big shot!!! It smelled like good old frying oil! Pay attention to your ventilation!!! And change your oil more frequently. So we turned around… and of course we will never taste your burger… too bad, luckily no 😅

I arrived with a -20% coupon received. I gave it away after payment. And then it's impossible to use it. The only answer given is: "It takes too much time!" “Use it next time” The restaurant was empty.... It was 5:00 p.m. Very disappointed with customer service, they do not listen to the customer! I picked up a take-out order on Sunday evening. The service was very fast and they agreed to make us the veggie Burger of the month, so very cool! The waiter even came to check with me to remove the dried meat in addition to replacing the steak, so very professional for fast food. I recommend !

Pretty alright burger place, food was extremely fast and they had a surprising good selection of beers. I wouldn't really recommend sitting and eating there, as it was pretty noisy and not that pleasant atmosphere.

The bacon avocado beef is still just as good and the bread is better and more toasted than at Rennaz (I always ask for it). The portion of fries on the menu is much more generous than in Rennaz too.
