Lovely cosy pub for a beer in the evening.

If you are in the lauterbrunnen area, please make sure to stop at this pub! Such a fun atmosphere and full of likeminded travellers. We came back every night during our stay for some very affordable pints and late night snacks.

Small, super practical and very clean rooms, top service, with the view of the waterfall it's just magnificent! Thank you Maëlle for her advice, we hope to come back!

We can review it as a Pub, having not been guests of the hotel! As they also say on the blackboard at the entrance "I'm not the best pub, but certainly the best as it's the only one in town!" We were here on a Saturday evening, no choice was more appropriate! Pub frequented by both locals and tourists, offers space both inside and outside; we had a great time, wide choice of beers, one better than the other, informal environment and possibility to eat (snacks, hamburgers, raclette, nuggets, soups, pretzels) we also took the opportunity to buy some bottled beers to bring back later At home! They are open from 9 in the morning to midnight and this also allows you to have breakfast or possibly a snack! Inside there is a TV tuned to sports channels and the possibility of playing darts! Ibi was very kind and helpful, he recommended beers and also helped us choose what to eat! We really appreciated the care and attention with which they prepared our dishes! 5 stars absolutely recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Always a nice place to hang out

Where do I begin…I was little iffy about staying in a hostel. The room: It exceeded my expectations. It was spacious with the bunk bed, sink and desk area. We had to get an extra room for a friend, but we clearly could of fit all 3 in the same room. We didn’t know how to turn on the heat so we were cold. The wifi would go on and off. The door had a lock so it was safe to leave our belongings. The restroom/shower was down the hall. It was always available. We had no issues. And the best part, the view! The view from our room was spectacular! It was of the waterfall! Also, theres no elevator and our room was on the third floor—we were out of breath haha. It was affordable overall. They also wash your clothes for a small fee and give it back in 2 hours. Everything in town closes early. This restaurant was the only place that was opened late. It was always packed. I got the most simple food which was the cheeseburger, fries and coke. You can’t go wrong with that. The coca-cola was so good, it literally reminded me of the coke back in Mexico! Only thing that I didn’t like was theres a smell when you walk in—strong odor. We found out later it was the cheese they were making. Also, your first glass of water is free, then you have to pay for any extra. Everything is in walking distance. Beautiful city.

The view from the window is super, the room is made of wood, two pillows plus two towels and very good service in the bar. So far, out of all the hostels I’ve been to, this one is in first place. And very tasty cappuccino.

A nice pub to stop and drink beer but the lady on the bar was quite rude.I just asked her a simple thing and her rude response spoiled my day .I will not recommend this place ..

Years since i went in a pub with an atmosphire worse than death row. Looked at us like we had leprosy. Food delevered with no smile. What a treat for you ski people. Never Again so help me god.

I would give zero star if possible ..! It’s not a hotel first of all..! Booked the rooms but could not stay as the rooms was tiny and smell so bad you could not stay..! Had to change to a different hotel even with no refund. Staff did not cared much..! Had booked room for 2 days but left the place within 30 min, they did not even refund the second day booking.

Amazing place. The whole experience makes up to a memory. My review is only for the restaurant and not the hotel. First, the things written are hilarious. Do not miss to read them. Inside the hotel, it’s like a time capsule. So many things. It’s more like a museum. Food is good, so are the deserts. We had our season’s first raclette today 😍 yep, in oct. a lot and lot of vegetarian options. Would love to visit sometime soon again.
