Great feel-good place, in the sun like today on the terrace it's a dream, definitely make a reservation, grill dishes (weather permitting) are great, gladly again!

Hörnlihütte is a charming 100-year old building with a very up to date menu (plenty of vegan, vegetarian and meat options). Enjoy your dessert and coffee outside on the deck chairs with the unbeatable view!

Beautiful mountain restaurant on the Hörnli in the Arosa ski area.

Mountain restaurant located near the top of the funicular services and therefore easily accessible. The restaurant offers typical mountain dishes and homemade cakes, excellent for warming up during a day of skiing or hiking. The environment is very rustic and welcoming, from the terrace you have a wonderful view of the mountains.

Even though the Mountain View is best benefit of this location, I visited the place and had to sit unfortunately with other family on the same table, only because personnel is either greedy or not skilled enough to organise people at the tables. I mean, they don’t care about the efforts some of us make to reach the place, or just is not feasible to share intimate moments with strangers, so I just choose to not go there anymore and not recommend it.

Delicious short ribs straight from the grill!!! The croissants with minced meat were also quite convincing. Service was very accommodating and infectiously friendly. Happy to come back!

You don't have to reserve anything for the toilet... Listening to Ghackets isn't really good.

Spectacular view, lovely setting to eat after a hard day skiing/hike. My favourite lunch of the week. Very well run place, efficency is key after an active morning. The rotisserie chicken was enticingly placed at the entrance. Had to go for it. Really tender and flavoursome. Took the ribs too which also hit the spot. Finished with the apricot cake. A decadent session 👌. The lasagne looked fantastic, hopefully can have that in the future.

Very great restaurant. The waiters are dressed like they used to be and the food menu is structured the same way. Always very little space if you don't have a reservation.

More than 100 years or mountain ski restaurant with fantastic sun terrace and very cozy indoor place! The menu is versatile and cater for everything: hot/cold, vegan/vegetarian/meat lovers. Even can choose a set menu from the early 1920's 👍

Very pleasant place for a meal or a ski break. The view is beautiful. Simple, efficient service. The dishes are good.

The views are beautiful, surrounded by mountains. One of the most picturesque places I have ever eaten. The food however is very overpriced, small portions. Lacking flavour and seasoning, the presentation was laughable with a sausage sticking out of my soup. The coffee tasted like water with little to no flavour. Good place to visit but maybe not for food.

Great place to take a break and have something good to eat. Liv in service was calm and extremely friendly despite the high workload. Well done, every dish we had was very tasty and the chocolate cake at the end topped it all off.

Went here for the first time when the 100th anniversary was being celebrated here and the prices were the same as they were a hundred years ago. We only paid 12 francs for 6 people. Over the next few days I came back here again and again, of course at the normal prices and it was always very tasty. See you next time!

The food and the location are good. At the beginning of the season the tables are only cleaned sporadically and you have to look for napkins at other tables. The service definitely still has room for improvement...

Actually a great mountain restaurant, unfortunately the staff was very overwhelmed, but they still remained friendly.

The "Churer Apfelspätschli mit Vanillesause" are worth returning. The tartare is also immensely seasoned! The children also really enjoyed the chicken schnitzel. Hörnlihutte has never disappointed. Today we even had lunch with a live jazz band in honor of the "Aroser Jazz täge". Blessed. See you next year!

The food is good but very expensive and small. The service was good. The view is also great and you can watch marmots.

The most extraordinary ladies' toilet with a large glass window with a view of the Urdenfürggli binoculars is ready! Superfine Capuns. Even when the weather is bad, we like to be upstairs and snuggle up in the window niches with hot cocoa with cream.

Very nice hut. When the weather is nicer there is definitely a great view on the large terrace. We warmed up indoors. Just a few meters away from the Hörnli and Urdenbahn stations. The children shared the (rather small) Guggeli and were thrilled. My butter rösti was very tasty, a large portion for 13 CHF. The bread salad with rocket is great and also really cheap at 13 CHF. After a ride on the Urdenbahn we came back for coffee. The cake slices and brownies were delicious and huge. There are also games for the children to pass the time. Toilet with a view.

I just enjoyed a coffee and a nut croissant in the morning. Friendly and very personable service. Super nice restaurant, good mix of rustic wood and modern. A visit is always worth it and when the weather is nice it has a great view.

The Hörnlihütte was always a great restaurant, but this ski holiday the staff was very unprofessional/unfriendly. When a friend of mine wanted to pay, he said 64.- and shortly afterwards increased it to 66.-. Instead of thanking us for the second extra, the waiter said to our group: "Is he always like that? Can he decide too?" Afterwards, another friend of mine wanted to pay and was wondering whether he wanted to pay by card or cash. The waiter said: "If you put your head on the payment terminal it won't work" and then he held the payment terminal directly in front of his forehead and made a beeping sound. I thought I wasn't seeing right. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior towards guests. Unfortunately I don't know the waiter's name anymore. I would fire such people straight away.

Wonderful cream cakes at this hut. Are legendary. You simply have to eat it. Great view with wonderful mountains

Certainly the most special of the Arosa mountain huts. Food great, service by far the friendliest, child-friendly and super relaxed despite the huge hustle and bustle.

They've got an offste smoker! It's amazing to just smell the smell of this smoker!

The brightest griller on the mountain. The hamburger makes great chicken and perfect spare ribs.

The service was very friendly and we were served quickly, but I had to wait almost an hour for my main course and it wasn't even really hot.

It was really busy when we visited (Sunday afternoon), which probably partly explains why we had to wait a good 25' before we could place our order. The drinks/food came quite quickly. Big drawback regarding the quality of the food (we were there last winter and thought it was a slip-up): unfortunately the croissant fries are still far too greasy and not crispy at all. I hope that by next winter at the latest there will finally be fine fries in the Hörnlihütte! The apricot tart, however, was great!

Yesterday we went to eat at the beautiful Hörnli Hut. When we got there we had to wait a bit and got a quick seat outside in the snowstorm. On the terrace we could immediately see that the daily specials were spare ribs and fried chicken. I wanted to choose the chicken first because it smelled so good. Since we had to wait a little longer for the waiter, I was able to get an idea of ​​how the grilled chicken was being prepared. Unfortunately, the employee who prepared the chicken often coughed into his gloves and even when the grill was open he just started coughing without putting his hand over his mouth / preferring to cough into his elbow. Of course, I quickly lost my appetite. I am aware that a chef has to cough sometimes, but please into the ulna or if it happens into the gloves, please change the gloves immediately! Unfortunately, this really disgusted me and many other observers. I think the employee actually does his job really well, but perhaps over the years he has become, so to speak, blind to the company and no longer sees such important little things and has become hardened here. I would be happy if you talked to the employee again without terminating him directly, because otherwise he did his job really well, he was very hard-working, quick and, above all, very nice. Otherwise, I still really enjoyed my stay up there on the summit and the croissants with chopped cheese and applesauce were very tasty. Unfortunately, I was missing one dish on the menu and that was the typical cheese spaetzle. I was really looking forward to Swiss cheese spaetzle but they weren't available anywhere.

The restaurant was overcrowded. We reserved a table, but first had to find someone who was interested and who could tell us where the table was reserved. After 15 minutes we were able to order. Unfortunately, most of the specialties were already sold out! We waited another 20 minutes for the soup as a starter. The ordered food was not delivered even after an hour. The service, which alone!!!!! was, then asked if we had already received anything. We then paid and left hungry. We have been traveling in the Lenzerheide/Arosa region for over 20 years and for the first and last time in the Hörnli Hütte. Absolute disaster!!!! Would have earned 0 stars.
