we took the 6-course surprise menu. All the dishes presented to us were truly excellent. The staff takes great care. the decoration is cozy and the tables spaced apart. The little extra is that we leave with a menu leaflet we highly recommend this restaurant for a pleasant gastronomic moment

The place to be in Neuchâtel! The food, service and setting are absolutely perfect. Each time I have an exceptional taste experience there. Strange that this establishment does not yet have a Michelin star. Go for it!

Just great, everything was good from A-Z. I've done many gastros, but here I was amazed from the start. They have a setting that is grandiose, absolutely worth testing. We will come back this summer, on the terrace and also see the garden.

Beautiful presentations, good dishes but very small portions! With a starter, a main course and a dessert we hadn't eaten enough, too bad. Otherwise, very kind and caring staff.

Globally : • We had a good evening, waitresses and waiters smiling but still lacking a touch of professionalism, cellar master and wine merchant very friendly and professional, knowing his wines well. • Too bad we were not asked if we were allergic to certain ingredients in order to adapt the surprise menu. • Sweets billed separately, with the Pata Negra and coffees even though they were supposed to be included with the voucher. • Idyllic establishment and location but clearly not up to the 15 points at the G&M (16 in 2023) with regard to the overall quality of service and the general balance of flavors and dishes.

We had an excellent evening. We had the opportunity to taste the tasting menu which is very balanced and full of very good taste surprises. Fine and refined cuisine, well-matched wines and perfect welcome/service/ambience. To recommend

A first and not the last here in Peryou. Exceptional culinary experience with impeccable value for money. A very friendly welcome, excellent support throughout the evening, a pleasure to have service from very professional young people and a room manager who coaches his team very well. My partner and I felt at home. We are already looking forward to coming back. I really advise you to come there because you will really have an unforgettable evening.

What a mixed experience to say the least. Summed up by an absolutely magnificent setting. Very good cuisine, if not delicious. And a nice and young service, if not experienced and perfect. How can you refuse to serve cheese because you didn't order it in advance? How can you hesitate to serve a bottle of wine because you only have a few in stock? How can we charge for a board of .. 50G max? of pata negra, as exceptional as it is at 38fr per plate. So many questions which remain unanswered and create a slight imbalance in these establishments which do not lack charm and where most of the dishes were in line with the restaurant's rating.

Magnificent experience with friends, in this magnificent setting. This was a reservation made with a QOQA offer. We enjoyed a six-course hunting menu. Nice wine list, but we chose to stay in Neuchâtel. Female staff, young, very friendly and very kind. And to spoil nothing, coffee on the terrace in the sun. Just a small complaint, the chef didn't come by. Damage....

With three friends we had a complete menu with wine accompaniment. First for the positive points: the service and the atmosphere. But that will be all. The food is just tasteless and you leave the table hungry. For the price it's just intolerable.

Everything was perfect. The cuisine was excellent, from the appetizer to the dessert, the wine pairing, the cheese cellar.

Disappointed with the different meals because no surprises. In addition, we were told about food allergies 3 times and each time, they were not taken into account during meals... disappointing from a standard like this. Discovery of this chic and upscale restaurant that I have often heard about. Surrounded by a beautiful garden park. The place is quiet, close to the city center. The cuisine is exquisite. Has a rich cheese cellar that I recommend to amateurs. Very good service.

I love their garden at the Palais du Peyrou

Disappointing experience for the meal taken on February 14, 2023. I was looking forward to returning to the restaurant at the Hôtel du Peyrou after the Pelington couple left. 1st disappointment: welcome and meals upstairs with a canteen atmosphere (bright light and filling of the rooms at its maximum = profitability) therefore little privacy as one can experience in the restaurant room. In addition we had cold drafts coming towards us (we were close to a window). 2nd disappointment: the menu is imposed... When booking, none of this was mentioned. I would not have booked if I had known about it when booking. Lots of cold food (even though we had cold drafts). 3rd disappointment: the level of service offered. you had to ask for bread and butter. the butter was as hard as a stone and the bread was a simple slice of bread...(and not small loaves as we are used to for this type of establishment). For this desired level this is not acceptable. The decor left something to be desired: we had a common tea light and rose petals on the table. We've seen better and less cliché for a Valentine's Day evening. In summary I imagine that reservations were taken to the maximum (otherwise we would have been in the restaurant downstairs). Auxiliary staff not always up to the desired level. An uncozy and unromantic setting for an evening that was meant to be charming. With 500.- for two people, the quality expected for this price and this place steeped in history is not there.
