We only stopped in briefly when we were looking at Basel. Very friendly

Beautiful room with river view and a big terrace. They had put a crib for my baby and even a station to change the diapers in our room. Staff is very nice and professional. We had dinner at la brasserie, where the food is excellent. I put 4 stars and not 5 because I would have loved if the hotel would have a spa

We stayed at Trois Rois both as overnight guests and for Sunday brunch. The rooms are really nicely decorated, even if they don't suit my personal taste. When it comes to the staff and service, you can tell that the Trois Rois is a bit outdated. I have the feeling that a lot of attention is paid to appearances, even though as a guest this shouldn't really be the focus anymore. I also suggest that Sunday brunch should take place in buffet form again and that this table service story becomes history. But otherwise recommended to everyone.

When you check in in any hotel in Basel you will get a ticket for the public transport in all of Basel which is a nice bonus.
