Thank you for the welcoming ! The boss with his family was there. They were closed but invited me to share their meals. I was passing by on a motorbike and hungry. Everything was closed. But this boss, his family invited me to come to eat and drink. I wanted to pay of course... the boss refused to let me pay. Wow... you don't see these kinds of people, traders, every day. So I highly recommend. The boss is very active in civil engineering too. He has done superb works for the SBB among others. This establishment is a restaurant and also a hotel. Parking spaces, clean interior but the boss is renovating everything. I don't understand why other than the quest for excellence, because the paintings are very good... THANK YOU and I highly recommend this establishment!

Descendu à l’improviste au restaurant de l’Ours nous avons apprécié le saumon sauce au vin blanc. La carte est petite mais sympathique: il y a aussi l’entrecôte de boeuf et la côtelette de porc, toujours accompagnées de légumes, d’une salade en entrée et d’un dessert, le tout pour un prix compétitif. Le vin du mois, un Cornalin du Valais ou les bières régionales accompagnent bien le repas. La salle rénovée se distingue par sa décoration au plafond montrant les écussons des cantons suisses mais aussi par une grande table où se réunissent les villageois pour venir aux nouvelles.

Mein Mann und ich waren vor ein paar Jahren hier und es war wunderbar. Wir wollten jedoch am Sonntag hier zu Mittag essen, aber alles scheint in Aufruhr und geschlossen zu sein. Was für eine Schande, so ein wunderschöner Ort.

Simple setting, but very good food. Almost unbeatable value for money. The new owner (since August 2018) goes to great lengths to meet your expectations. An address to try!

The dishes are delicious, the staff are warm and attentive to the customer and the prices are fair. One of my favorite restaurants, I highly recommend it. Little tip: Do not always trust opinions that are not justified, these are often associated with conflicts of interest.
