We ordered perch fillets with fries, a portion of fries for our 22 month old and my wife a vegetable risotto. Desserts: chocolate ice cream and top-notch cheesecake that even our daughter tried. Basically we came for a fondue but I made a mistake when I looked at the menu... One thing is certain we will come back because they work with a majority of local, homemade products... Top notch and friendly staff, attentive to the needs of our little one...

Dinner is excellent. We enjoyed an arctic char for two, delicious! Very good suggestion for wine. THANKS !

Excellent hunting meal! Everything was delicious from starters to desserts! The deer tataki was incredible and we have rarely eaten such a tender saddle of venison. The balance between the classic and the gastronomic touch is perfectly mastered. Warm and professional service. In the top!

The hunt was delicious: deer fillet tataki as a starter and venison saddle as a main course. Everything was good and in sufficient quantity. (The saddle could have been served twice, but it didn't spoil our meal at all.) The service is very friendly and we had a great evening.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant (not the hotel) Auberge communale de la clef d’or in Bursinel. Nested above vineyards, in the middle of this charming village and with views over the Geneva lake and French alps, this restaurant is ideally located. The food served here is of the highest quality. The cheese selection was great and in sizable portions. My perch filets were superbly presented and delicious. The game venaison from my host was also cooked to perfection. The service is very friendly but a tiny bit slow.

We went to celebrate my grandmother's birthday with the whole family and the service was great, the waiters were great and the food was very good. The servers are pleasant and frankly funny, they not only put up with our stupidities but also got into the game, which was really great. A big thank you to this team and above all don’t change!!!

Very good time spent for a meal in this restaurant. As a starter, the féra ceviche was killer and the perch fillets were excellent and in a perfectly honest portion. Efficient, friendly and cheerful service, despite a full room. A real pleasure to eat here, the view also contributing to it!

Top restaurant: the view, the service and the dishes

Outside of Geneva lies this little gem of a restaurant attached to a small hotel that offers amazing dishes with a fantastic view of Lake Geneva. This restaurant offers a limited menu, but each dish offered is wonderful. I ordered the Perch fillets and this dish was delicious, delicate and fulfilling yet not overly filling. The service level was also very good, as the staff were attentive and friendly. If you find yourself in Bursinel or passing through, I’d highly recommend stopping here!

Very good welcome and service. The location is really good. A pretty view of the lake and the vineyards. The menu is worth it for 60.-, a great first discovery of the dishes. Nice presentation of the dishes.

The restaurant in the hotel itself was very good with having magnificent dishes, such as the stake and the fish dishes. The view was amazing and is worth to go eat there if you stop in the surrounding region of this restaurant, 6/5 rating.

Ordered at the right time, my beef fillet at 52.- arrived perfectly cooked. The terrace is superb and given the number of customers this Friday, I classify this disappointment as an exception.

Disappointing! The service is bad; the knowledge of the dishes was not good. Then, the side dishes were so small that it was dishonest, as was the cheese portion at the end of the meal! Finally, dry sole and unseasoned tartare! I strongly advise against this restaurant which nevertheless benefits from a pleasant terrace. Yann

This is a budget facility about 30KM to the north of Geneva. Given the efficiency of public transport,this is a great neighborhood outside the city.

We took advantage of a weekend in Switzerland to stop for dinner at the Auberge de la clef d’or. We were captivated by the flavors of the dishes, the service was perfect and the atmosphere romantic. We will come back without hesitation Thank you all for this wonderful moment

Great location with a lake view. Huge wine selection. Nice mix of menu items and pre-set multi-course meals. Fresh ingredients- amazing flavor. Only minor complaint is the creme Brule was a little loose/watery and the top was overcooked. Still good just not as amazing as everything else up to that point.

Apparently the restaurant was very busy, I only ate a snack plate as there seemed to be reservations everywhere and I didn't want to disrupt the process. So I sat on the beautiful outdoor terrace with a beautiful view of the lake and the Alps. Nothing was set up here because it would be too cold for dinner. That was just right for me because as a cyclist traveling through from Neuchatel I could still tolerate some cool air. Afterwards I went to my room and enjoyed the good atmosphere of the room and the very good mattress. The breakfast was great. What surprised me was that there were no other overnight guests to be seen. Probably already out of season?!

Very nice experience, superb terrace, magnificent view, but for me it's the contents of the plate that interests me. A very good menu, delicious dishes and very well presented. Be careful of the surplus which can very quickly increase the final bill. Nothing to say about the service, very good advice, about the wines to accompany the dishes. I'll come back for the view next time.

Do you want a quiet place to eat in the evening after a day of work? so avoid this place which has taken on the appearance of a canteen with its tables lined up almost together. Noise, more noise! As for the menu, it doesn't vary much since our last visit in May, the same dishes were offered! Well, another address to cross off. Too bad the staff and the setting are very nice!

A wonder! We have been there several times this year and each time it was delicious. The servers are super friendly, the setting is sumptuous and the food… wow! In short, it’s great, and no doubt we’ll be going back soon. :)

The wait is a little long but the service and the meal are top notch

The location as other reviewers have pointed out is excellent with a great view of the lake. The service was rather lacking possibly from lack of staff as we had to wait 15 minutes to get our aperitif order taken and another 15-20 mins for our aperitif to arrive and our meal order taken. What "shocked" us the most was the high prices CHF46 for a plate of filets perches (12 small pieces) with french fries on the side. No salad and no second service. A pity and I won't be returning any time soon.

So in terms of cuisine and setting just perfect on the other hand a magnificent terrace prohibited to smokers 🤔 and at over 400 fr for 3 people not even a free coffee that's a bit limited 😓personally you won't dream of me!!!

excellent welcome in this inn with a Veranda overlooking Leman. very nice to see the tables sufficiently spaced apart. small card with a suggestion of the day, the products are of good quality and freshly prepared. beautiful wine list with local discoveries and at reasonable prices. Overall, very good value for money and I am delighted to discover their hunting card.

Good and friendly experience. The cuisine is very well mastered and the service has often been very fun and relaxed. I appreciated the unpretentious atmosphere and the dishes well presented and prepared with good ingredients. In terms of wines, let yourself be advised, they are connoisseurs!

Good address. The service was very professional, without being rigid. The waiters had good knowledge about wine. As for the dishes, nothing exceptional, but they were good and mastered. The tomatoes were good but the mozzarella was dry, very firm and without much flavor. As for the Rumsteak, the cooking was mastered (although I was not asked when ordering; somewhat surprising), one piece was tender but the other was very tough. Nice presentation of the plates in general.

An absolute gem of a place. We have been here twice now and eaten on the lawn / garden area. The view is absolutely breath-taking but I would say what makes this place stand out is the service: maybe one of the most professional and friendly team of waiters in the region. The food is also absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to go back next summer.

Very nice moment and with the chance to have been able to eat in the "garden" allowing us to have a magnificent view of Lake Geneva and our beautiful Alps. The Lotte was great 🙂 and so was the assortment of cheeses from the Gimel dairy. Don't hesitate to discover this magnificent place where your taste buds will delight.

For the claimed quality of this restaurant for my taste I still have to make an effort We had to ask for the bread for the salad we ordered. It’s a detail but it counts… Salt and pepper shakers non-existent at the table Very good service but a little too invasive or overrated for my taste. We would have preferred a little less personalized comments from the servers who came to interrupt or interrupt the discussion between us Nothing bad, but we must have heard two or three gratuitous and clumsily placed remarks from them. Perhaps too much stress on the servers at peak time? To end on a positive note Pleasant welcome, idyllic setting, quality of the food very good, value for money = expensive….but hey… it’s Switzerland!
